There are teasers and trailers around already if you look. It looks like it could be kind of funky, though even with no plot, lots of guns and hell minions, it would still be faithful to the game  -----------------------

there might be a plot, and it's pretty cool that the rock is in it, although I would have like him to be the main character, not the sarge, but anyway, hopefully, it'll be cool seeing him in an alien costume, cause he is going to be a zombie and a gross one, if you've seen the trailer.... -----------------------

I dunno why but I laugh at the trailers in a 'cheesy funny' way. I actually hope they did not take DOOM too seriously when making it. Since I get paid Friday I may go see it Saturday after work(I have other commitments Friday that perclude my going and seeing a movie). -----------------------

I want to see it just because I liked the game so much. I don't care who the actors are, as long as they get the storyline down I'm fine.
I'd also liek to get a look at how they did this first person. It's a new thing for movies, so it might be entertaining. I wouldn't be so quick to judge it guys, just because it looks bad doesn't mean it will be. -----------------------

Hmph, well obviously it's gonna be horrible, but any bloody action scenes and firefights will probably make it worth seeing..at least somewhat, especially cuz it's DOOM.  -----------------------

Actually it really looks like the fighting will be the worst part, because its the part that looks like somebody put a video camera in front of a monitor that was playing the game. It could have been done like an Aliens movie, or even resident evil fashion and come out alright, but they had to try and and be original, I don't mind originality except when it sucks, and I really think this movie will. Now will I go see it? of course I will, like watching puppies get ran over. -----------------------

So I went to see Doom yesterday, so here's my review.
As far as adapting the game into a movie, it was pretty good. They got the basic concept of it, a few lines taken here and there from the game. As far as the first person thing went, it lasted about three minutes near the end of the movie. You may think it looks stupid, but it was actually really well done. I enjoyed it, at least.
I'd say see it if you like the game or a good sci-fi movie. (I thought of it more of a regular random sci-fi movie than being based on the game.)

I went to see it on Saturday and personally I thought that it was really good. Especially the first person mode when the guy wakes up. But the only part i didn't like was that the begining of the story is different from the one in the game. -----------------------
