Hey, I was reading Fury's post about Fantasy Football, and it got me thinking, we should have more little games like that. So I'm making a weekly Vast Empire Texas Hold'em Poker Game. It will be run on Yahoo, or something else we agree on, and run at a certain time (most likely around the VE meeting time on Sundays).

Now the best part of this is that we're playing for IC's. To play in the weekly game you must transfer 10,000 IC's to me sometime that week with a note saying Poker Buy-In, and in the actual game, we all start with 1,000 dollars. We will play until we have a winner unless of course there is a certain time limit agreed or something like that, but that must be agreed before play starts in the game.

Winnings:
3rd place (and lower): Nothing
2nd Place: 10,000 IC's
1st place: The rest of the pot (ie: if 8 players, they would get 70,000 IC's)

    Sounds great, only problem is for the rest of the summer (and maby after) I wont be able to attend meetings, So I woultdn't be able to play. If it is at another time though, count me in.

Yahoo Poker is a horrible poker engine.  We used to use an online poker program that had a free area.  I'll try to find the link.
