How bout some new stocks for every comnet style based on how many users use it.  That could be very interesting.

Also, If we get a large number of new stocks, it will be more like a stock market and we can have sock marquees on every site.

Imperitrade Financial has just released a new feature that will enable a stock share price estimation function when you are purchasing a stock.

Right after you select a stock you want to purchase, the price estimator will determine how much money you have and calculate how many shares of the given stock you can purchase.  The actual purchase price of the stock for the number of estimated shares may or may not be the current price.

This should help you know right away how many shares you can purchase with your money for any given stock.

After much debate in the financial district, there has been five different stocks that decided to perform a stock split.  This will hopefully allow these stocks to become more affordable to all members.

ICS performed a 2:1 stock split resulting in 48,000,000 shares available
IVE performed a 2:1 stock split resulting in 48,000,000 shares available
FESBND performed a 2:1 stock split resulting in 12,000,000 shares available
MMA performed a 2:1 stock split resulting in 48,000,000 shares available
STORMB performed a 2:1 stock split resulting in 12,000,000 shares available

For those of you that don't know, a 2:1 stock split means that the stock price is cut in half while doubling the number of shares.  If you owned any shares during this split, you now own twice as many shares as what you owned before.

You can head over to Imperitrade Financial to purchase these fine stocks.

I have updated the Imperitrade Financial stock ticker to dynamically update the stock prices while the page is showing.  The stock prices will now update at real time rather than at a 10 minute delay.

This automatic update will display on all of the main Vast Empire and Imperial Network pages.  If you would like this same dynamic update feature enabled on your website, let me know.  All you really need is a simple script on the website that I can give you; which is already being used by the main sites.

In case you haven't noticed, the stock prices are now updating constantly.  With this new dynamic stock ticker, you'll be able to more easily view the real time status of the stock prices.

This is just for browsers.  But the idea is to offer a more streamlined stock quoting system for those that might want to check the quotes from their cell phone or another mobile device.  It could probably be streamlined even more, but this is a good start.

As far as the text message idea goes, that's a good one; however, that would take a bit of time to implement something like that.

At some point, I will add in a feature that will allow you to select certain stocks to monitor and then send an email or some sort of an alert to you so you know it's at the price you want. 

Included in that feature, you would be able to automatically either purchase or sell the stock of your choice at a set price if it ever reaches the price point you want.  If it doesn't, then the sale wouldn't go through.

There are a ton more options I'd like to add to this, but only have a limited amount of time.  So eventually we'll get more and more options.

Keep the ideas coming though.

Ok, it looks like you were trying to put in the number with a comma.  I have now added support for numbers with commas into Imperitrade, so you should now be able to use it without any problems.

I'll be adding this same support to the First Galactic Bank since it appears that others are having this same issue with wiring funds.

I bet it's already been suggested, but I would like to see a ticker of all the stocks and bonds. As opposed to just what the top fifteen stocks are doing. The majority of those top fifteen are sorta pricey, and I deal mainly in penny stocks for now. It's a bit of a pain to look at each stock individually to find ones I can afford.
