I think that people will come to several revelations.. slowly mind you.  Not all at once this year

1. Religious tolerance, people will be less judgemental and realize that as long as it harms no one, do as you want.

2.  Realize we are destroying our earth, step back and refuse GM crops that are destroying our food supply, give back to the earth etc.

3.  I will have finished my R2 droid and half of my R7, and three of my major costumes AND storm trooper armor will be specially made to fit petite people like me.

4.  Mass depression will hit since the uber SW geeks dont have any more Star Wars Celebrations to look forward to after the one in April *sigh*

theres going to atleast be a riot in washinton DC on the shrubs inaguration becuase of all the people who hate him, i'm fairly certian more than a few people will try to punch hime in the face.

He has said officially he refuses to do the rest of the movies, this will stay at 6, so there will be no 7,8,9 like he thought way back in the day.  I dont know what will happen, I know he will have the clone wars type stuff still happening, whos to say what else.  I know at C3 they will be talking about the future of SW though and where we will be going.  True to form, like what I did at comic con, I will notify everyone if anything exciting happens.  Last time I called Kad with the title for Ep 3 LOL.  The moment I found out at the big announcement I shared with you all   Hopefully I will hear something exciting... I will miss these huge Celebrations   however I do agree... Lucas isnt my first pic for making the movies, but of course no one else will ever be allowed to *sigh*

LOL yeah that would suck, I hate the thought of having to kill friends on a good note its a safe bet that most pro Bush folks carry guns and anti Bush people dont.  Sooo I am sure we will be fine   My dad has quite the collection of guns too.. I only have three : /

You may be trying to pull the wool over your eyes, but please stop doing so with me.  Granted, Atlanta has drastically reduced its payroll over the past year, but it still only put them at 12th in MLB spending at the close of the year.  I imagine there will be trades and acquisitions that will put that back in the rarified air of big league big spenders by the time the season starts again.

Before that, they started 2004 at $90 million and in 8th place in overall payroll, well ahead of the Cardinals, which followed at $83 million.  Seventh place was held by the Cubs, who spent $400,000 more.

In 2003, sixth place at $103 million. 

Other years. In 2002, payroll was at eighth place and $93 million.  The team fielded in 2001 cost $91 million, good for sixth on the list.

Basically, other than the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Dodgers, and Rangers, the Atlanta Braves consistently outspend the entire majority of the league on a regular basis. Considering Florida won it all with a $63 million payroll, Anaheim with a $61, and that half the league is usually under $70, with 10 teams at least under $50 million, your argument doesn't seem to hold.

Yeah, Cox isn't half bad a manager; then again, he's got a rap as choking in the Series too (though he does get his team there).  What's the team record? Since 1991, they are 1-4?

So sure, other than not stacking the lineup based solely on OBP a la the Billy Beane plan, I'd say the Braves are right up in that select few.
