Ok boys, Shaz, everyone.  The story is over, so we should probably get a story-line of our own going.  I say we take a little 'Nazgul Vacation'.  Fly on down to Coruscant or Correlia.  Maybe just do something, get into some touble, i dont know.  But we need to get a story going so we can stay active.

The only person in my flight, Darius, really hasn't started out yet.  But when he does, I expect him to be posting like mad.  Owoemana is out of the story, because he's in the navy or something isn't he?

Judith is dead...we killed her off thank god.  She like only posted once.  Everyone else except for Dirk and Art seems to be hanging around, which is me Jack and Shazam.

Alright, guys, it appears your all off out somewhere at the moment...  Sorry I was abscent for the last week or so, but it was necessary, and I think things are cooling down a bit.  Now then, who said the Chapter 8 story was done with?  Did Japeth make an announcement or something?  I'm ganna need some updating here...

Also, we're lacking in the reports.  We need to pick up on those, or I will have to start billing...  I mean seriously, it takes like a minute.  I have to share in your blame as well, because I havn't been reporting in like I should due to business, but that really isn't a very good excuse...  So lets get this thing rolling. 

One more thing, Dirk is around, he's just trying to find a place to post, everything has been a little confusing since he had to take a little time off...  Anywho, there is also a factor in which I don't normally stress so much...

What is this?  Realism...  Realism in the stories isn't essential, but its awfully lacking in as of late.  Us taking down like sixty fighters by ourselves is just a tad bit above normal, not that I doubt your abilities.  Don't let this little bit deter you from writing or encumber you in your writing, just keep it in mind.  Thankyou...  Les do this...

Yea, I've been pretty farfetched myself when it comes to kills, gotta try and give yourself some kind of credit though.  But I think I'll cut it down myself and make more story as well...

As DH said there is realism and star wars realism.
e.g. in realism you wouldnt hear anything through a vacuum and all ships would be able to just keep on accelerating untill they ran out of fuel. (Except of course until they start approaching a good fraction of the speed of light where the energy you put into makes you more massive rather than faster)

To be fair i suppose through an engagement we cant limit ourselves too much on the number of fighters we kill, otherwise we'd get bored quickly.

What is silly is when someone says they take on a group of 10 or so fighters and "move through them killing them all one by one"

We should really only be able to take on one or two at a time, except for the higher ranked/more experiences pilots who could possibly manage more

Also the ratio of kills between tie fighters and x-wings is really poor. The best way to take them down is to swarm them, one on one a tie fighter is no match heh

oh yeah and i'm back and a nazgul runon would be cool

Not saying that you should limit yourselves quite that much, just that you think about it.  Try focusing more on the fight itself, rather then the kill.  A dogfight, especially one with a shielded opponent, would be fairly in depth, and could take awhile unless you get lucky.  By the way, for anyone that hasn't, I would recomend reading the Rouge Squadron series, they are great books, and they focus on Space Combat.  It'll help add some extra Star Wars knowledge that you can use in your writing, and help improve your writing.  I know it helped with mine.

BTW, Darius talked to me in school the other day, he should be coming around about the time we get the story going.  He didn't feel that it was the right time to jump in on Chp. 8, him being like brand new and all, but he'll be around.
