because we feel like it.
me and my bro and a firend went out and dug a hole after a couple games of paintball, so we where all in camo, we called ourselves the Mole Brigade, yeah i know, there was only three of us, but it sounded good at the time.
thats only about a third of the dirt we took out, the holes bigger than it looks, we all fit in it, not comfortably per se, but we did fit, somewhere i have a pic of that too. ----------------------- The Comnet Hermit

Mole Day is October 23, because a mole is 6.02 times 10 to the 23rd power. So yeah, my old chem teacher dressed up in this goofy furry suit and did this bizarre little rap about moles and chemistry and we all sat there smacking our heads ashamed. ----------------------- FL/PO2 Chipmunk Man/Kaph 3-1/Phoenix/mSSD Atrus/DEF/VEN/VE/(=A=)[LoC][MC:1]

i used to listen to that stuff, my musical preferances switched around alot untill now, first i liked softer rock, then country, then i moved to smashmouth style pop stuff, then onto rap, then rock, then metal, then deathmetal, then rock/metal then rock/metal/punk, now its primairly punk, i like what it says, a good punk song has a message, alot of the lame ones dont, and alot of the lame ones are the popular ones. ----------------------- The Comnet Hermit

the thing i never liked about country, is that they're all whining about something, and the music is normaly low rate stuff i have no problem playing myself, and most thier voices are realy annoying, i havnt listend to country though for around three years, ----------------------- The Comnet Hermit

They aren't always whinning about love. Look at Toby Keith. "Angry American" and "Beer for my Horses" are two kick-butt songs, along with Big & Rich's "Save a Horse; Ride a Cowboy" and "Six-foot Town." Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet have a cool song together about blowing off their jobs and going to Margaritaville. ----------------------- FL/PO2 Chipmunk Man/Kaph 3-1/Phoenix/mSSD Atrus/DEF/VEN/VE/(=A=)[LoC][MC:1]

i said normaly, i'll admit alot of alan jacksons arent realy whining either, but i'm saying the majority are whining about something annoying, and often have badly written lyrics, good lyrics are enough to make me like a song, i will never like the genre, but there are a few songs in every genre i like.

Not all rap is the generic "I wanna shoot my bitch up" music. Some of it has a message. Try listening to Talib Kweli and Mos Def. Classic music is real relaxing, but i dont ever relax, so i dont listen to it. ----------------------- TRP/PFC_Giovanni Bryden/2SQD/2PLT/1COM/1BAT/1RGT/VEA/VE/[LoR]

i go by the wise words of the ancients: "Rap is Crap"
having gome threw a stage where i listened to it some i feel perfectly in position to say bad things about how generic and talentless it is.

Ok, I just heard that new parody by Cledus T. Judd, "I Love Nascar" (those of you who've heard Toby Keith's "I Love this Bar," that's the song he adapted). It's halarious. I laughed so friggin' hard I got a headache. It's great. You guys have got to here that. Toby Keith even sings a verse along with Cledus.
Ah, almost forgot. "Smoke Rings in the Dark" by Gary Allen is cool. Just heard that last night, too. Seems to match my current emotional state fairly well.

Classical has many different flavors.
I'm partial to a great many of them.
Heck there is a bit of Opera I even like.
Karl Orf's "O Fortuna" is always good, especially as of late when I've been driving my TWolf A over some hapless Elementals.
Or Samual Barber's "Agnus Day" now that is a sad but not really depressing song, at least not to me.
But as many have said it is largely a matter of taste and there seems to be something for everyone.
