Cosmic, after saving the avatar you made for me the border got messed up, as shown to the right. The white lines thicken.
I think it's because I'm forced to save it as a bmp. and that's how the thick white lines came out. Even after converting the image to jpeg. and gif., the thick lines remain.
I may have a solution you might wanna hear over IRC. -----------------------

Save it as a .gif. When you go to Profile to upload the avatar, try typing in a Name for the avatar (ie: Kami Avatar), press the Browse button and get the avatar, and then click Update Profile. -----------------------

im trying 
it wont let me save it as anything but a bitmap.
the only way i can change it is to open the avatar with paint and save it as a jpg or a gif, but i lose the borders completely -----------------------

Your problem is identical to mine. I guess the best way to go around this is to have Cosmic send you the image in an e-mail and upload it directly from there.
Me, I just told him log into my account and upload it for me. Couldn't care less if he went in and stole all my creds.  -----------------------
