Just taking a poll here, I want to know what is everyone's favorite alien races within Star Wars. I'll try to keep up by posting a fav list every so often.
I vote for Givin, Mon Calamari, Neimoidian, Wookiee, and of course, the Yuuzhan Vong.

actual sith were a race, they just got destroyed, the present (you know what i mean) sith, and the sith of the movies are fallowers of a teaching, they are not however it all started when some Jedi first started dabbling with the dark side and where outcast from the order, they landed on a planet named Korriban where the sith happened to live, and well alot of shit happens and the outcast jedi take over the world. well eventualy the republic destroyed them , but holocrons and writings, and obviously a few survived, they went on to teach others and so on and so on and now the sith become more a religion, so ya, the sith are/were a race, and thats where my vote goes. -----------------------

Yes, the Sith WERE a race. They aren't anymore. They were interbred with by Dark Jedi and wiped out nearly 5000 years before the rise of Darth Sidious.
The homeworld of the Sith Lords was not Korriban, it was Ziost. Korriban was the burial ground of the Sith Lords.
I suppose we could include those ancient Sith as a race, but I doubt anyone really knows anything about them. Besides, as far as the Vast Empire and/or the movies go, they are long gone.

The Noghri assassins, commandos and bodyguards were just damn cool in the books.
I thought of fashioning my own character, Hashi Shiyun, to be a Noghri warrior. Small and nimble, yet incredibly agile, maximising unarmed combat skills to the fullest. It would be rather fitting as according to our timeline, the Noghri race has not yet deserted to the New Republic just yet.
Then I decided I was too pretty to be an ugly Noghri. Silly me. -----------------------

yes, with money, i generaly like to buy things with money, i tired a few alternatives, but the cashier just wouldnt take puebs.
and what i mean by having not decided to read it or not is that i dont think im going to read the NJO series at all, allbeit the vong intrest me, from everything i hear about them im realy going to hate the characters, and i already realy hate luke piemaker, and i hate his sister in the books and they always screw up han solo. i did read the first page though.

was poopin too, the second movie makes it perfectly clear he was a clone of Jango, therefore if Jango was a mandalorian (dont know why he wouldnt be, its not impossible)
nw generaly being a clone makes you the same race as the guy your a clone of,
all i know about the Massassi is that they made temples, Massassi Temples no less.
