I just had another thought to help boost activity.
I used to be a rather good mission maker, probably could be good once more if I got some time to work on some projects, but my point is this: What if we could have a steady influx of new custom missions?
It's another one of my crazy hairbrained ideas but from my talks with Fury it seems like putting the programers in our ranks to work would have a fair amount of demand and support for thier efforts not just from the VEN but also the VEA.
One of these days when I have some free time I should make available my XWA mission editors and write a few guidlines on making missions.
All in all it is a far less drastic measure. My other idea takes the power into our own hands rather then wait for LEC to get off it's duff and make another decent flightsim. -----------------------

Hey, I've returned to active duty, figured I'd post that in this topic.
I'm with JMac on this, anything you higher ups wanna do, I'm with. Now that I've got DSL and hopefully gunna be getting more RAM soon, I'll be able to do more than I could in the last two years. If you guys need any help, I'm willing.

Anyways, I'm on active duty again as well... A series of rather awekward events have kept me from keeping in duty... But I'm better now. And I've almost beet Final Fantasy 7. OK, you're local crazed rodent has found a nice teacher who he can get lots of study hall passes from. Thus, I hope to be on more than I have in the past few weeks.
Anyway, I like how you've handled things, Kad. As to the Navy "Seals" idea, I'd be more than happy to write up missions for Delta Force 2. It's more an Army game, but we could use it for a special forces group. It includes free multiplayer (I heard some games make you pay, greedy corporate pigs!), and a mission editor that I may have managed to get the hang of. -----------------------

My projects seem to be getting either set aside or completed at an alarming rate, so if anyone wants some custom TIE, XvT, or XWA missions I'd be willing to shake the rust off the old editors. If you want custom Starcraft beg Giest, he's the best at it I've seen.
Once I get back in the groove and thus feel justified writting a tutorial on how to make missions I will. -----------------------
