Alright this is what you've all been waiting for. Starting tomorrow, Kaph will be having a new story. Reply-Wars will be closed until further notice. Here's the general idea:
Enemy forces will be consisted of a CR-90 Corellian Corvette and a Lancer Frigate, 2 squadrons of x-wings and 1 squadron of a-wings, and 2 Kappa-class troop shuttles. We will be in simple Tie Interceptors. It'll be just us against the enemy forces.
We're stationed on a small base on a world similar to Kamino. The shuttles are going to jump into system some time after the other forces. Our objective is to defend the base at all costs. Reinforcments, a squadron of Agressors, are on the way, but won't be there for another 36 hours, story time.
We'll go from there. Let me know if anyone has any questions. As you can see the plot is fairly simple, so if anyone wants to write any side stories in, you're all welcome to do so. Just don't pull in too much enemy forces, and keep things realistic.

Jimi Choplin seems to have fallen off of the edge of the map like so many other recruits. He has never gotten in a report even though I've PMed him several times to do so and have given specific instructions about how to report. Last Sunday I sent out an e-mail to him asking what was up. I have yet to receive a reply if ever.
I also remember it being 500 words, but I guess 300 words isn't that bad for those with less experience. Though it will be looked more highly upon if your posts are 500 words+.

Hey Everyone,
I"m back. I just read over the last two pages to kind of catch up and, thank you everyone for your concerns and well wishes.
Sorry Will that it took me so long to let you know what was up with me. It's just that one day I was feeling fine and having a time, and the next thing you know I'm in the hospital being pumped full of chemicals and drugs.
But, no worries mates. The doctors say that I am lucky to have gotten the most curable of all the leukemia's. It still sucked puking my guts out for days on end and losing all my hair. And I still have a lot of follow up stuff to do, but, I'm gonna live.
Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to return to work for a little while yet. On the bright side that gives me more time to post.
I see you put me in reserves Will. Thank you and I believe I am ready to come back to active duty. Lemme know, when, and where.
I hear Than needs a new wingman? I might not be worthy, but I'd try. -----------------------

And sorry Will, but after reading all of Kaph- Mortain,I liked the story and I popped in. I needed a story to attach to and begin anew. If I'm out of line or not supposed to be included there just tell me and I'll edit/delete.
I had already studied for my Senior Aviator's exam first and have all the answers except two. And One is easy. Without telling my stupid a$$ where can I find the NAVY's motto. Not ours or Nazgul's or any of the other squadrons. I can find all of them.The VEN?

To Will's last ComNet: I would have if I had access to a computer in Florida :P.
To the Squadron: I checked my ComNet PMs after returning from my Florida vacation...Will feels he is unable to fulfill his duties as SC at this time because of RL. He has asked me to step up to the position until the end of the school term (until sometime in May.) He also feels he is unable to take on the XO position, either, during this period of time.
I have learned that there has been a big drop in activity in Kaph while I was gone too. It seems it is related to the fact that there was no one higher up to give structure to the story, I apologize for that. But I am back now and a can guarantee you that I'll do everything I can to change that fact.
By the way, Nazgul has two more replies at this time on their story than us. Are you guys going to let those Nazguls out post us, the Elite Kaph Squadron? I'll make a post tomorrow to sort the story out, don't post until after I make it.
As a reminder, there is a word min of 250 for Kaph Story Posts (it used to be 500, but Will brought it down recently as Cyleaf has noted.)
Will has left it open to me if I want to take on an XO during my temporary command of the squadron. If I feel one of you are up to it I'll do just that.
I have to get off the computer right now, but expect me to start taking action tomorrow! -----------------------

I understand that Admirals and such as Shazam, Japeth and Kadaan will check in on us from time to time, but respectfully what affiliation do you have with our squadron?

Sorry I forgot to say it earlier...Welcome back, Etan. To answer your question, you are flying with Hellkite. Cyleaf is actually in the squadron and is Will's wingman. To get things straight, Willtconq is still SC, story wise, and will stay SC within the story. So to boil it all down, the roster page on the Vast Empire sight is correct when it comes to the story. -----------------------

It's just now that I'm back, I want to be a little more knowledgeable and serious about my involvement here.
Why isn't Cy listed in our roster/ flight then? So then is he TBA under Will?
I love Cy, in an Imperial sort of way, of course.
When I first came here Cy gave me more info than anyone and actually Will got angry because I thought Cy was my SC.
Sorry still, Will.
