Since I can't see to get my VE mail accoutn to send outgoing messages, I'm gonna post this here. Hopefully everyone will see it, if not oh well. Should have been more active and actually check the topic.
Greetings.
An AWOL check is now in effect. You have exactly one week to respond or be removed. I want you to respond to both your flight leader and myself. After this AWOL check I am going to put in effect a new policy towards AWOL.
1. You must log into the domain at least once a week and there must be evidence of this. By evidence I mean a post. If I have to look at the roster and see your last login date you will go AWOL. You must be active, not just login to stay on the roster.
2. You must send in a report every week to me and your flight leaders. I want them by Friday night. Flight leaders, you have until Saturday afternoon to get your reports to me. In any case, get them in as soon as possible.
3. If you are going on leave, I want it posted on the Leave part of ComNet so everyone can see. If you don't and you get placed on AWOL, saying you were on Leave is unacceptable.
4. To get off AWOL you must email me asking to be placed back into active service. Once back on the roster you will be on 'probation'. That means you don't want to screw up again, trust me J.
That is all. Respond to this immediately. Thanks and have a lovely day. I want emails, not posts here. The first person to post that they are here on ComNet will get a thrashing.

I sent an email out to my flight announcing a flight wide AWOL check, just to see who's active. I guess that when I CCed it, it was to sk8's @vastempire account, as well as Emon's. I've gotten replies from Jacen and Solo; fairly quickly too, considering I sent it out at midnight last night
But anyways, I'm here, I'm active, and will be more active as well. -----------------------

for your information I have a hotmail account as well, but the VE mail system and my school email address I use outlook for. It is so much easier than loggin online and getting it that way. Plus I can get all three accounts by pushing on button. You have to remember that Computer Scientists are lazy, therefore Iperfer pushing one button rather than logging in thre different times. -----------------------

Well, I feel I have to tell you all this, even though it's not quite been announced yet overall. But Warmaker and Three have told me that I have been given command of Polaris. So Jacen, I guess there will be an opening for the FL position of Two Flight.
I'm going to miss being a part of Kaph, and hope that an eligable pilot be put in charge of Two Flight. Good luck on that boys. I'll see you guys around the cosmos.

As for the FL position, I will be thinking of who to place in the position, so don't bother applying.
