Some of you -may- be aware of a little situation that occured pretty recently regarding one of our only female members and one who will be unnamed here (but is named elsewhere if you have the burning desire to know who he is). Basicly, it was sexual harrassment. WELCOME TO NO TOLERENCE LAND! As the title of the topic says, this angers me, a lot. Guess what will happen if I ever see it happening? I will delete you. Ohh, harsh? No, no not really, you've had fair warning now. So not only will you be banned from the Vast Empire's main channel, and never welcome to return, but you'll get yourself deleted from the database. Woo, huh? I've talked with at least a few of the other ops, they're in agreement. This is NOT the first time this situation has happened in some form. There have been MANY female members of varying ages run off from the VE due to these things. GROW UP YOU SLOBS! Most of you, I know, have no problems with this, you are well adjusted people. I applaud you even. *claps* For the rest of you? Try to act your shoe size. Girls are people too, and more importantly, they are MEMBERS OF THIS ORGANIZATION. There are few enough of us as it is for a few of you maladjusted idjits to run off members. WHAT TO DO IF IT HAPPENS TO YOU If anything like this happens to you, that is, sexual harrassment, or even anything less, PM an op, if there isn't a response, start emailing ops. Yeah, all agreed. It's time that it should be clamped down. When I first joined VE, what struck me was the pathetically LITTLE females in VE compared to other clubs. If you guys want to continue your absolutely irritating and offensive behavious maybe you guys should leave VE yourself or you'd be screwed up. Hear. Hear.

Where were you when Merrick was actually complaining about this? Where were you when Aphrodite was complaining about this? Where were you when *gasp* Tiana was complaining about this? I have a hard time taking any of this seriously until i actually see something come of this. Have fun.

I was there jumping down the violator's throat when Aphrodite complained about it. Merrick never said what happened to me, so I have no way of doing anything about it. :P

Rebel Squadrons! Ever been in that club? You will never forget it if you do. On my second day as a member, my squadron leader sent me a private one-on-one email asking me what was my "personal name" for my penis. He assured me that everyone had named theirs and that I should share mine with the rest of the squadron. Having lost all respect for this commander, I transferred to serve under good ol' LT Myst (previous head of the UGR/NR club) and partially enjoyed my days as an X-Wing-playing rebel. If you ever want a filthy, cybersex IRC channel, drop in to the RS Bar and Grill on Undernet during its wild evenings. Its like stepping back to Sodom and Gamorroh with a laced Star Wars aftertaste. The relevant part of it is this: RS has the most female members of any online Star Wars club. Yes. Hundreds of them; in active droves. It also has the lowest threshold of morality and most abused rule set ever. Sexual harassment everywhere. It's an online-dating service masquerading as a Star Wars club. Now, you have the givens.
