Because of the HUGE difficulties in paying a dozen people every month (and the fact that I've been promised funding but only want to ask for it when everything is in order, which is never), and because nobody wants to work outside of a division, I would like to propose that VE Today becomes a part of the VEEC. This would do something for the division: Increase its activity! It would also allow the editors and reporters to be paid regularly, promoted easily and, of course, fired easily We would not need too close collaboration with the EC high command - we could run our selves without too much interference, although we won't say no if the HC want to come and offer advice. The VEEC is a pay-per-job organisation. I think that VE Today should have regular salaries. The payscale I propose is: Chief Editor: 35k Dep. Editor: 30k Senior Editor: 27.5k Editor: 25k Junior Editor: 20k Reporter/Columnist: 10k Everyone let me know what ya think..

i agree with three two issues a month, that's 15k a article for a editor. so you send the article in, to bear, to corran cause bear will lose it, and to tal so he can give you the creds for completion. Bear and Corran get their pay when they send tal a pretty little mail telling him when the issue is done. we've already got 4 divisions sitting on their duffs and getting paid, we don't need 5
