I hear day in and day out that the Zone is not liked anymore. All I hear is complaints about "The Zone is Evil" and "I can't stand the Zone anymore." Yet, nothing seems to be done about it. Now, like it or not: The Zone is a part of the VE in a sense. We go there daily to recruit. (Or should be at least) So, therefore I have come up with the following proposal. I will run this small comp (With the appoval of the HC of course) for all of you. The reward will come out of my own pocket, and I will pay greatly. I want you all to go out there and find a gaming site that will suit our needs and replace the Zone. I'm sure you can be resouceful if you wanted to be. You don't even need to get all of the games. Just make sure that it supports 85% of our platform games and I will give a reward to you of 50K for best 20K for 2nd best and 5K for third best. I think this is fair, and I don't think that the HC will have a problem with this. If anyone out there has a problem with this, post it here. I don't see why due to the fact that everyone I know complains about the Zone. -----------------------

If i say this ill get booed but...   what is wrong with the zone. I know the sysops are jerks and there are a llot of coggers and stuff, but there is nothing in essence, wrong with the zone.... someone please indulge me... -----------------------

Well for one: their new login system has really been messed up. They now require use of passports, and you can no longer login from the ZoneFriends software. Many people don't seem to care to be on the Zone. I think it is mainly because that their login system takes 10 mins just to log into some times. Anyways, the competition is there. Anyone who wants to find a decent location will get a big reward. -----------------------

I guess i have no complaints about logins b/c i use hotmail, and i have DSL so my connection takes about 5seconds to do. I'm not a big zone fanatic or anything, and would alos appreciate knowing about other gaming sites. I guess the people on the zone wear on you sometimes, a lot o them are absolute JERKS. -----------------------

gamespy arcade. It supports JK2 JK, GB( i think) and some other games. Mostly FPS RTS and RPG. I think you can dl the client off fileplanet -----------------------

*Shakes his head* Gamespy doesn't work for me....I despise it because the first time I downloaded it it froze up my computer and my mom and dad got mad and frustrated at me. But if it works for the rest of you then that is alright. -----------------------

For JO, the Zone is good for recruiting and some playing. Most of the time I have 3-4 green.  Not bad for a 56k.
Now, for JO, I mostly use the IP games that I find in the searches. -----------------------
