Just posted the longest story post I've written in months. Bombers have been disposed of, and half of the A-Wings are off Amacuse's tail. Unfortunately, that leaves Ellie and I to deal with them.

Tonight is awards for my school and I am going. Tomorrow night I am not aware of anything going on so I should finally be able to be free later in the day to post (if I am indeed posting at this point I am still a bit confused about the story).

And yes, I am aware of private comm channels. It's just more fun when they're not private. XD Can't wait to make Vanity an entity again.

We've got some thunderstorms starting up here which usually somewhat screws up my Internet so will do what I can in terms of posting... I wish my dad would switch providers bit he's not always too bright...

the reason I don't talk about many people in my posts (well, there are a few reasons) but the main one is I'm not sure what their character is like so I don't want to screw up anything, but if you'd like me to ship your char off somewhere in the future...I could try

Alrighty...I remember HS a few ears back...Not the best place to be for m anyway, discrimination...emotional/verbal/physical abuse...Finding places to hide....

I think the best part was my large print books that I would get, it was like Christmas...Twice a year I was called to the office and had 2 big, long boxes waiting for me...You bring it to the Special Needs classroom and me and one of the teachers would open it, and I'd find long, thin (compared to the earlier versions I got in middle school) glossy large-print books. That was probably the one thing that put a  smile on my face, I'd go to class with my new books and wouldn't get tired when reading small-print and i could read at the same speed, if not faster than some people in the class. The thing that really put a smile on my face was my last semester in 12th grade when I got a bell-ball (it's like a regular ball but with a few bells in it). Man, I took the thing in my hands and shook it and when i heard the bells in there I practically gave the thing a hug-like squeeze.

Only reason I had asked for it from one of the people I had done my Coop with at the French School for the Deaf/blind and for those with learning disabilities was because I needed to do a project and I decided to have the class be in my shoes for a minute and play adapted soccer, I ended up with an 85% for that assignment

Don't worry, Avvie. We've all been there (or will be) and it gets better, I assure you. I'm finishing my second year of college and have never been happier about school. For me, the ability to really choose what I want to study, not the wide-and-shallow general crap the state puts out, is amazing. Between that and being semi self-sufficient from my part-time job, I feel like I'm the one controlling my life for the first time. No matter where I happen to be at the moment, it's because I chose to go there.

And, at my school at least, there are so many more people here who are friendly and mature...it's great. Life after high school is much improved.

College and post-undergrad are definitely an improvement over High School.  And, Drac, I think you've hit on why: the sense of self-direction makes everything more palatable.
