I know this is something that people wouldn’t think I’d write up but here it is. I feel I should post this now…
This is my formal resignation. I have spent many weeks thinking about it. I feel like I am letting a lot of people down as I write this and I’m sorry. I know it wasn’t the right time to even consider posting this, but I’d been thinking about leaving before the competition even began. I only told a selected amount of people who convinced me to stay for a while longer. A few petty things have driven me to write this up. I won’t explain why I have come to this conclusion as it might start something and that’s not what I want.
Although I am resigning from the army, I will stay on IRC to speak to you lot. I’m not isolating myself from all of you, and hey, maybe in a few months I’ll join you again. I’m deeply sorry to everyone who I’m letting down. Sergeant Helena

What are you saying! You were the first person to actually send me a welcome letter and from the sounds of it, you are one cool person. I don't won't someone like you or any body to resign.

I am sorry to hear this. You seemed to have such a promising future! Not many people rise up in the ranks as quickly as you have in such a short amount of time. I hope that whatever prohibits you from continuing active duty solves itself over the next few weeks/months. I hope that it is something that will not take long to fix, and I certainly hope that it has nothing to do with certain people/comments made here on VE. Best of luck, hope to see you active soon. |

Here’s my place to say I was wrong to resign. Just after one day of not being there, I missed it. I wrote the resignation in anger, and I regret doing it now. I know how much people actually like me by posting on this thread which I didn't really know was true, and I know how many people need me, including Kand.
I don’t know what else to say… I know this must have been the most built up and shortest leave ever…
