Raigen sighed as he sat in the foreward compartment of the Gray Hawk. He had flown the ship from the mSSD Atrus and out a ways to get a clear, uninterrupted signal from his master. This aslo removed any chance of the signal being picked up by the Atrus. Suddenly, an all too familiar figure appeared from the large holographic projector. It was Master Chief of the Red Dragon Alliance, Darron Bandaar. He was a blue Twi`Lek of about forty or so years of age. He had succeeded Hunda the Hutt as the next MC of the RDA(Red Dragon Alliance- a coalition of the Black Hand Pirates, Black League of Hutts, and Red Dragon Order.) Three representatives from each branch of the Coalition were appointed every time a Master Chief died, these were called Heirs. Since Darron was the first heir to Hunda, he humbly accepted the position. Raigen never knew why he was selected as heir, but nonetheless, he represented the Red Dragon Order.

"Raigen, I am pleased you survived your last mission," Darron would say with a hint of sarcasm.

"You would rather me not?" Raigen asked as he stood to his feet.

"I would rather&my apprentice not go flaunting his piloting skills for an Imperial Remnant group. I would rather&he obtained the landing shuttles for the campaign."

"Ahh, landing shuttles, of course. You asked me to do some research and I did. Taylander shuttles, cheap, effective, and in numerous supply. They don't have any firepower but can carry a platoon each. We can equip them with a single blaster turret and they will be escorted to the planet by four of our Korribian Reaper class Gunships: the Ripper, the Vladmir, the Ivan, and the Zodiax. Will that be sufficient?" Raigen said.

"No, those ships are to be orbiting the planet and targeting specific locations from above, as well as imposing the blockade. I will grant you other ships, but those are preoccupied. What else do you have for me?"

"Pirates are unpredictable, selfish, and poorly trained, no offence to you ma'lord. I have gone through the roster of the Atrus and found many who would be well equipped to lead some of our groups. One has already agreed. A soldier by the codename of RogueBoy. I'm putting him in my platoon, leading Dheth Squad. I think he can keep them in line. He'll also be 2nd Platoon XO. Another, I am about to contact, his name is Halos Bek, a pilot. I plan on putting him in Ace Wing as my XO."

"Then you will switch to commander of Ace Wing after the initial attack," Darron inquired.

"Yes m`lord, I am a pilot, I would do well to stay off the ground," Raigen said.

"Very well, Instructions are in your data pad." Darron said before disappearing...

Sayah, sitting quieltly on a bunk, was silent. During his career  as a bounty hunter he had participated in many battles of the Clone Wars and in some minor rebellions of the New Order. He still remembered the thrill of dogfighting Aethersprite Jedi Starfighters over Kamino, the hellish flames on Mustafar and the intense tortures he had undergone...for what? For credits? Not primarily, as he would have probably become a clerk if that had been the case. No, he did it for the thrill and for his beliefs. Sayah looke dout the window, seeing nothing but the endless void.

He sat at the corner table, all alone.  The yellow glass of pale blue liquid almost untouched since it was placed there.  He was looking back, reflecting on the past.  He had betrayed the only man that had every taken a chance on him.  His old mentor had taught him well, too well in the end.

Halos Bok's heavily tattooed, right lekku twitched.  His space had been intruded.  He looked up to see a soldier with red hair standing about two feet away looking at him.  The uniform made it obvious that he was an off duty Storm Trooper, the arm in the sling and the scars on his face told him that he had been in that condition for some time now.  Bok usually resented humans looking at him, but there was something different in this one's eyes.  The Twi'lek smiled at the human and motioned with a tan hand for the man to sit.

"So what have you concluded about me?" asked Bok to the red headed human.

"Well you seemed to be deep in thought about something that was troubling you since your drink is nearly full and your facial features were distant and cold," said the WIA trooper.  "You also have a high tolerance of pain considering your tattooed lekku.  The designs in particular seem to be that of modern gang design.  You must have had a past involving organized crime."

"All that from just looking at me," said Bok, "they should have you in intelligence instead of out on the field.  Do you have a name?"

"Regbur Mah, but most just call me Red."

"Halos Bok, nice to see we don't have all idiots in the VE military, Red.  So what is your story?"

"Actually, don't remember much from before the injury.  I do remember I was in a squad called Jester and that I came from a planet called Falthornn.  Oh yeah, I was a Scout Trooper too.  I can't stick around long, have to go to rehabilitation."

"What ever got you must have screwed you up bad, why do they have you here?"

"The Atrus had the nearest clinic with the proper equipment after the attack.  I have been here every since, but enough about me what about your story?"

"Well, as you predicted I started out in a gang on a planet called Verinia.  We mostly did weapon's trafficking and bounty hunter contracts.  We were doing pretty well for ourselves until the Gangster War, and then every thing began to go to the crapper.  Eventually things got too hot for me and I joined the Verinian Navy.  That also went well for awhile, until I got in a fight with my squadron commander and ended up stealing a shuttle and making a run for Vast Empire Space.  Joined the VEN and been here every since."

"Interesting, well I got to run.  Nice talking to you."

This one was different than a lot of humans.  Most were ignorant of their existence and only saw what they wanted to see.  This one observed everything around him in an unbiased manner and then made his conclusions.  To a degree he was like Thaan Sion, though his mentor was much colder and much more dangerous.  He had been a bounty hunter for many years, taking contracts from Bok's father.  That all ended after the Empire came in and, as Thaan would put it, liberated the planet from its corrupt government.  Ever since Sion had been a part of the Empire.

Too bad the Empire splintered to pieces.  He would have probably been taking orders directly from the Emperor himself by now if Skywalker hadn't killed him.  He was the famous Imperial hero after all.

He took a sip from the glass, back into his thoughts and away from the real world.

(OCC: Just as a note, Thaan Sion and Than Sion are two different people.)

After volunteering for this mission he thought he'd have a mission briefing or at least a data pad with some information. But instead he was kept in the dark and told to promptly get aboard the Atrus and await further orders.

With him being kept in the dark he was starting to become unsure weather or not it was a good idea to go along with this mission. He was always up for a bit of action but this might be going a bit too far.

When he got aboard the Atrus using the military transport, the first thing he noticed was how huge the docking bay was. He'd been aboard an ordinary destroyer a long time ago... but this was something else.

He found a small quiet place in the hangar of the Atrus were he kept his case that contained all his necessary thing's- he hoped- that he'd need on the mission. When he made sure it was safe he found his way to the mess hall where he ate an apple. He hated ration packs. When he was finished he walked back to the hangar. The size of the ship was frustrating as he always had to find someone to ask directions.

OOC: An important detail: The Atrus isn't a small ship or some cruiser. It is an mSSD (Modified Super Star Destroyer). It makes Imperial Star Destroyers look like ants. /OOC

I'm sorry Raigen, if I got a little over-enthusiastic before in my story writitng. You see I'm new to this. So lemme start over.

Etan is a smuggler by trade. His Wookie instincts told him to wait in the hanger bay.

There he made adjustments to his modified Tie-Fighter and ran diagnostics on his R280zx unit. His assigned protecol droid C3pwo, made constant queries as to the up coming mission.

The protecol unit couldn't help itself. By nature, it was mean't to ask questions.

Sayah watched the bustle in the hanger bay from a higher deck. He saw a Clone Wars Jedi Interceptor and his heart filled with envy of its owner and nostalgia. It seemed like only yesterday that his personal starfighter, the Senital, had been destroyed in a dogfight over Mustafar. He resolved that the fist thing he would do after this mission would be to go down to the Imperial Center Store and inquire into the matter...

With a sigh Jag left the hangar starting to get impatient waiting around. He decided to go to the simulation room for some hand-to-hand training.

Luckily the training room was empty. He programmed the simulator so it would have a simulation of a Tusken Raider. But Jag made a mistake and must of programmed it to have a B-laa air assault battle droid instead. It ejected it's blades and lunged for Jag. He dove back finding himself next to the armoury. He tool a vibro- sword and dived to the right before the droid flew towards him. Jag got up and parried the blow but he kept losing ground.

When he was near the wall he lost his footing and fell back against the wall. The droid lunged for him but Jag was too quick. One of the droids arms was stuck in the wall. Jag got up and eventually cut off the droids other arm before it could activate it's shield. After decapitating the droids head the simulation ended. Then someone behind him said, "Well done."

Sayah sat back and opned the simulator, one of the Battle of Kamino. He chose an Aethersprite and soared off into the virtual beyond. All guns blazing, he shot down a pair of gunships before being ambushed by a pair of anti-heavy troopers and a Kaminoan gunship. Grimacing Sayah reconnected.

Etan grew tired of waiting in the hanger bay, as so many other pilots had.

They all knew a mission was up and coming, yet they could'nt make any further preparations.

Etan along with his protocol droid, found Jag in the ready room. It seems he was teaming of sweat from a round in the training room. That was something Etan didn't need. He was ready for action all the time, however these puny humans always felt the need to bulk up.

Etan never quite understood that.

"Arruughaaaa", Etan bellowed. His protocol droid, quick to interpret asked Jag" Glorious days, indeed. My master inquires as to your well being?"

P.S. is this better Raigen?

The magnaguard paused, then brought its electrostaff crashing down.    Sayah screamed in agony as the electricity surged through his body. Sayah woke up, sweating. He had nearly died many years ago on Mustafar and still had the scars to prove it.

"Hello Wookie." Jag Fel said when he turned around and realised who it was. "What would your name be then?" he asked.

"The protocol droid answered with just enough time for Jag to finish his sentence before he answered, "My masters name is Etan Evnstar." Etan then grumbled something. "My master also inquires as to your name?"

"Well as to my name its Jag Fel and as to my well being I am growing impatient waiting for a briefing." Answered Jag. "And also if you wish to accompany me, i'm going to the firing range for some target practice..." Jag left that question in mid-sentence whilst he shut down the training rooms power.

Raigen was walking toward the hangers when he passed Jag Fel, "What the heck dude. Hangers are this way!" he would say as he pulled him by the arm.

"I was going to hit the targeting range!" Jag said, confused.

"I've already went through the trouble of convincing the higher ups that we'd be gone for a few days. C'mon, I need a nav controller." Raigen said. He was wearing a green echani fiber suit and black pants. His cold, mechanical left hand would whirr as he let go of Jag and walked toward the Hanger.

Raigen had already spoken with most of the "prospects," each conversation very similar. Most were in it for the cash but some just wanted the thrill of battle. He never expected them to be in the hanger that early thow. The Hanger was half full at this point. Raigen looked around. "All right everyone, don't worry about taking leave. Your CO's, XO's and such have been informed that you are being audited by the FGB and will be withheld for the next couple of days so they can track your spending...Yeah right...Anyway. That should give us at least two days. If you will please step onto the Gray Hawk we can lift off."

Raigen opened the loading ramp of the light freighter and began to walk up the ramp. Etan would be the first onboard. Raigen would put up a hand..."No outside protocol droids, Etan. Ship rule, they record information, conversations, and the like. Most of us can understand Wookie anyway..." Etan growled but walked up the ramp without his droid. Raigen sighed, "...fine. Just put a restraining bolt o him. There's some onboard, I'll get one for him later. Sayah was next, seemed a little shook up. "Hey man, Take it easy. You don't look so good. There's a hover lounger in the guest quarters if you feel like laying down...Where's Halos?"

Sayah walked up the rank, rage at the way Raigen had dismissed him as hot as star-plasma . He forced himself to take a deep breath and focus on the here and now. Floating alongside him was his baggage, containing a set of heavily modified clone commando armour as well as some heavy weaponry. Sayah mentally prepared himself for the worst and hoped the Force was with him.

Etan is not one to be dismissed. He and his newfound friend had an appointment with the firing range when their temporary commander came up to Jag- Fel and beckoned him to the mission.

Etan, although taken aback was used to being dissmissed by the lesser human species.

He immediatly took the forefront of the envoy entering the ship with great abandon accompanied by his protecol droid, who by the way was moving as fast as possible to keep up with his wookie keeper, before any of the other recruits.

Raigen had cried out something about protecol droids not being allowed, but Etan had dissmissed it with a bellow than none could refute. Anyone who knew even a word of Wookie knew it had to do something with broken bodies being left along the way.

His protecol droid followed him none the less. He wasn't going to be the first to be battered by a disgrunteled Wookie. C3pwo didn't need a bed anyways. Anyone could find him just roaming about the halls as needed. More than one of the ships crew members would find him to be an asset in the up coming days.

Etan immediatly made a survey of the ship finding the control room, then the general quarters and then the galley. Etan had surveyed much of the ship, before most of the rest of the crew had even entered the hanger doors.

Once inside the ship, And having made a quick survey, Etan awaited orders as any good member of a team would. Etan, besides being a rebel/Imperial Wookie, had learned that sometimes it's just as well to follow than as to lead.

He had made one friend, Jag-Fel so far. With his Wookie ways, he would make more.

Jag wasn't best pleased about the way Raigen talked to him but dismissed it immediately as something that the higher ranks had a privilege to do after enduring it already. When he and Etan reached the hangar the way he treated him about his droid... well he couldn't exactly do anything about it. But his respect for him increased when he allowed him to bring it along as long as there was a restraining bolt on it.

He slowly walked up the ramp after getting his case from the corner he left it in. It contained his ARC armor with all the places his modified his armor to fit in a few surprises...

He walked up the ramp after everyone and found his way to the cockpit and strapped himself in with someone he thought was called Sayah...

Having been given the terms of C3pwo's requirements for accompanying his master Wookie. Etan, being a trained mechanic and specially good at rewireing droids, personally installed the restriant bolt on his best of friends, C3pwo.

C3pwo responded. " Why do you treat me as such Master Etan?" "Have I not been faithful enough to you my most desired sire.?"

Speaking Wookie, Etan explained to his most faithful servant. " You have not only been the best droid anyone could ask for, but you have also been my best friend." He further explained how he did not want to leave him behind and how his duties would include serving the entire crew, not just him.

C3pwo elatedly reponded, " You mean sire I am to help everyone on board."

"Arrgh" Etan replied.

"That is most assurredly what I'l do, Master Etan." As any protocol droid will do C3pwo went on to explain the various areas he would be adept in and how he would be an asset to this team, while Etan left him to talk to himself, knowing more important matters were at hand.

Sayah stared out the view-screen and watched as the specs of light that were stars elongated and blurred. He brought out a data pad and brought up the classification of the ship, noting the locations of the interior turrents and escape pods. He knew it was slightly paronoid but it had become a habit after he had almost died in a firefight between a platoon of rebel troopers and a band of smugglers on an unfamiliar bulk cruiser several years back .He noticed there was a human in ARC Trooper armour sitting next to him of his armour...

Raigen took another look back before ascending the cargo loading ramp. Halos would be there shortly, but Raigen wanted to get things organized. The cargo bay was adjacent to the foreword compartment, a room in the center of the ship that wrapped around the gunner position loading area. The large holoprojector, lowered halfway into the floor, was silent and dark, it hadn't been used in a while. As was the old dejarek chess table, the pile of pazacc cards, and the lounger by the holo projector. Raigen turned one of the dials by the wall and lit up the room with the row of low energy florescent lighting. Primitive, but effective.

The corridor that connected the rooms wrapped tightly around the edge f the foreword compartment in a semi circle. Raigen squeezed past the patrolling cleaning droid and to the cockpit. Jag Fel was already there. "Well, you found this pretty easy. The nav bay is just behind this thow. It's fine, the original YT-1300's had a different layout, I gutted everything but the hull when I built this baby. So people tend to get lost. Now, noticed you brought some ARC armour, that's good. I'm glad to see that you take personal protection seriously. The coordinates for the jump are on a datapad in the nav bay. Can you punch those in while I run through the systems?"

    "Uh, Yes sir!"

"Gahh," Raigen joked, "Don't call me sir, you're older than am!"

Jag looking at the cockpit was confused. He'd never seen a YT-1300 like this before. Then Raigen came and told him about how he modified it to how he designed it and was impressed with how much work he had put into it...

Jag went to the nav bay and found the datapad sat down and started punching in the coordinates. After he was done he double checked them to make sure he wouldn't send everyone aboard into a black hole...

After he was finished he went to the crew quarters and on the way he saw Etan attach the restraining bolt to that droid of his. When he reached the crew quarters he saw that man called Sayah checking on something in a hover case. He asked, "If you don't mind me asking but what would be in that case of yours..."

He looked up as if waking from a trance and answered, "I'm just making sure that my clone commando armor is in order."

Jag answered, "Don't get me wrong the clone commando armor is brilliant but in my opinion the ARC armor was built for unknown missions like this." Jag came round and looked at the armor in the case and couldn't help but admire the amount of modifications it had done to it. "But still with how heavily modified your armor is it probably would compare to it."

Sayah smiled stood up and said, "Thanks but well ill save you the trouble and gone in-put the coordinates..."

Jag smiled and said, "Don't bother I already have.

**Before Take Off**

Halos Bok was now rushing around his room for the things he would need for the mission.  He still didn't get what possessed him to agree to go on the operation.  At one moment a human with bionic fingers and a squinted eye confronts him in the Enlisted Club and the next he is looking through a room for things he hasn't used for awhile.  Stop telling yourself you don't know why you are doing this thought Bok to himself.  You have been serving the Vast Imperial Remnant for along time and they are too strict, too ridged for your taste.  You jumped at the chance to do something in the gray and black areas of society.

He put on his Barbel Microbe body armor.  Most people would feel safer behind a whole suit of armor, like Storm Troopers, but he found it to be too cumbersome.  It reduced your total physical ability too much.  He preferred wearing the soft, padded vest.  No one should be fooled by its structure.  Those pads were filled with microscopic organisms that fed off of energy.  So pretty shooting the vest over and over wouldn't ware it away like conventional armor but make it stronger.  The only problem was that it had little effect against physical material.  That is why his mentor had constructed a suit of armor that was layered with light weight, metal plating and an inner layer of the microbe armor.  Though he never disclosed how he displaced the energy through the plating to the microbe layer effectively.  Others have tried to copy the design, but they were never able to make it with thin enough layers that it didn't become too heavy for conventional use.

He pulled a black hard case from under his cot.  He opened it to reveal an Espo Riot gun, a DL-54 Automatic Pistol, and blaster packs for both.  He took out the pistol, holstered it on his belt, and closed the hard case again.  He threw several changes of cloths into a duffel bag along with other essentials and then put on a dark brown cloak and a pair of tinted glasses.  He picked up the hard case and duffel bag and left pilot barracks 9, the door automatically shut behind him.

His walk to the hanger bay that had been designated by the human Raigen was uneventful.  It wasn't until he got to the hanger that things got interesting.  He had to admit that this Raigen human certainly did an impressive job at modifying the YT-1300 that he had called the Gray Hawk.  The first soul he ran into was a Wookie conversing with a protocol droid.

"Well at least I am not going to be the only one to suffer from human stupidity," remarked Halos to the Wookie.  "The name is Halos Bok."

The Wookie growled something and the protocol droid began to translate, but Halos cut him off.

"Don't bother, he said I am Etan Evnstar, I agree with your inference on humans in general."

"{I am surprised that you have taken the time to learn the Wookie language, most non Wookies don't,}" replied the Wookie to the Twi'lek.

"My father liked to hire Wookies for the business, not just for their brute strength, but for their ingenuity.  I still find it amusing that during the time that we had an arrangement with the original Imperial government that we were secretly freeing small pockets of Wookie slaves in the attempt that some of them would be willing to join us."

"There you are," said the human Raigen.  "About time you showed up."

"Sorry to keep you waiting boss," said Bok, needing to put a little mental effort in saying boss to a human.

(OCC: Sorry I havn't posted in awhile, I have been busy.  I finally added Raigen's ID line to my signature too, though I don't know what he is using for a rank system.)

**Also Before Takeoff**

A trooper clad in a long black coat and lugging a large black case walked up the entrance ramp. He came up the ramp and saw several other people aboard the ship talking about something that he didn't care about at the moment, and just then Raigen came walking out of the cockpit.

"Greetings Raigen, sorry about being late, just finishing up some uhh. . . things. You weren't gonna lift off and have all the fun without me were you?"

"Well, it's good to see that you've arrived, please make yourself at home."

Raigen hurried on his way to some other part of the ship that he had been moving towards before being intercepted by Leth. D'har gave a half-hearted hello to the others and wandered off to the crew quarters at the back of the ship. Setting down the black case, he shed his coat to reveal a suit of PPS Battle Armor with several spare blaster packs hanging off it. Suspended from his hip was a holster containing a T-6 Thunderer pistol, in a sheath fastened to his right calf was a nondescript vibroblade, and across his chest was a shotgun held in place by a bandoleer of shells. Under the armor was a shadow suit to help Leth sneak around if the situation called for it, and under that was a thinsuit to protect him from temperature extremes.

He cracked open the black case to ensure that he had all his fun little toys, and he did. . . that and a hell of a lot more. Piled in the case were all manner of weaponry, as if he didn't already have enough on he person to stage a small uprising. Several of the more dangerous looking weapons included a 500 Squad Repeating Blaster, an ESPO Flame Carbine, an ESPO Grenade Launcher, a Whisper Sniper rifle, and a menagerie of grenades.

Satisfied that nothing was missing, D'har put the headphones of his C3POD to his ears, blasting his mind with crazy industrial music, and laid back, waiting for something interesting to happen.

Etan had finished tooling around with his droid unit. The required restaining bolt was in place and as a friend to his protocol droid, he did one last diagnostic.

"I am at top efficiency, Master Wookie Etan " C3pwo gestured." I am ready to service the entire ship if nessessary, master."  C3pwo went on to explain that "Although my main functions are of  a protocol droid, I have seveal other , BLAH, BLAH, BLAH was all that Etan had heard.

Being a wookie, he was ready for battle. His protocol droid was, simply, a friend he did not want to leave behind.

He knew that C3pwo would be of great assisstance to any who needed him. And that, anyone could use him in a pinch.

Etan went on to explore the gunnery. It seems the piloting skills had been covered by far better pilots than him.

Turrents were positioned on at least two sides of the craft.

Etan made himself familiar with one of them.

Etan sprawled out in the crew quarters while his c3pwo unit made itself busy with departure procedures."

"Master Raigen might I be of assistance to you?" the c3pwo unit would badger everyone until given an assignment.

Meanwhile, Etan made himself comfortable, awaiting orders.

Sayah sat back and closed his eyes. He felt the reasssuring weight of his DC-15 blaster pistols and checked the compartments in his armour to make sure that he had replaced his toxic darts with EMP pulse charges. He shoved a power pack into his 17 and heard the reassuring, all too familiar whine of the gun's recharge mechanism before

When Sayah asked what sort of weapons he used in combat and smiled, "Come and see..." They walked to the crew quarters and Jag got out the case that used to contain his ARC armor.

Without the armour it looked small on the inside compared to the outside but thats because it was...

He pressed a small button which lifted the lid. Inside was A280 armor piercing rifle, a DL-44, a EE-3 which was one of his favourites because Boba Fett's choice. And because he was going into unknown territory he brought 5 EMP grenades and 2 concussion grenades. He also had an attachment which fit onto his armour with 5 high flying throwing knifes... for that silent touch.

He heard a metallic clang and looked up to see c3pwo coming in. He asked, "Master Jag do you require any assistance?"

This was the third or fourth time he'd heard him say that to numerous people in the ship so he answered, "Yes you can power down until we get to our destination or ill activate an EMP grenade."

The droid looked at Jag and said, "Ill just inform my master i will be shutting down" And he scurried off into the lounge.

Sayah smiled at that and said, "I'm glad you said that because otherwise he'd already be in pieces..."

Sayah smiled. He had been carrying a thermal detonator  in his palm to shut the irritating scrap heap up once and for all but he probably would have ended up armless and in a bacca tank. Still, it would almost have been worth it to fry that pile of gears and machine oil...
Sayah looked at Jag's gleaming armour. Jag had obviously been very busy tinkering with it and the result was interesting and almost...artistic.
Looking at the gleaming armour brought back memories... of endless legions of white clad soldiers, of war, of destruction, of terror. He remembered some battles as vidily as if they ahd occured yesterday but the one battle that stood out the most was the struggle to retake Coruscant, inch for inch, from the hordes of metal that had come down from the calm blue skies and attacked the Temple. Comnet channels were down but there were occasional  broadcasts warning all civilians to stay inside. So, of course, he had grabbed a laser pistol and left. Outside was a scene from Dante's Inferno. Flames shot into the air from ruptured fuel tanks and the air was filled with smoke belching from a downed gunship. Spindly B-1 battle droids fired rockets and beams at the few surviving Republic commandos and troopers. Below them an ARC captain was    leading his troops in a heroic defense whiel two lightsabers, one emerald and one purple, were barely visible. Towering belmoths of gleaming metal shot down civilians without mercy where they stood.  A man ran, screaming for his life, which ended when a rocket came from nowhere and exploded, showering the ground with fragments.  A jet trooper squad flew overhead, throwing EMPs as they went, but  there were still too many droids for the besiged defenders to suceed. He saw a clone speeder on its side, with charred and blackened corpses still seated inside it. He heard footsteps and turned aroubd, only to see 5 super battle droids marching towards him. Thinking quickly, he  picked up a broken DC-15 rifle and used it to knock one of the machines down  by clubbing it in the chest. As it fell, Sayah blasted wildly. 2 of his shots went wide, while 3 found their target. The remaining 2 advanced and were about to shoot him down when they exploded in balls of glittering metal and flame. He sensed movement behind him and quickly swiveled around to find that Republic reinforcements had arrived and that the droids had retreated from the sector.
Shaking the vivid memories from his mind, ,Sayah asked "Is that an impervium coating on your armour? Mine is reinforced with it."

Sayah thought about the respective merits of ARC Trooper and clone commando armour. He knew Jag was right: ARC armour was the most dependable. His own set, however, was in pieces and was being cleaned of carbon scoring from being flash frozen.

Etan, fastly sleeping was awoken by the voice of his protocol droid, who shall from now on be called friend or companion.

" Master Wookie sir, I have searched the ship over for a proper assignment and the only one I could find was from a very rude fellow known as Jag Fel. He requires me to shut down until further notice."

"Then do as you are required to do C3wpo. I and nobody else here seems to have any further assistance from you right now. Trust me friend, when the time comes I will reactivate you."

The C3wpo unit backed into a corner next to the weapons locker. " Okay Master Wookie Etan friend it replies."I regret your decisions to exclude me from only doing what I am best at, which is in the service of others, but shall someone find some use of me I will be found here in the corner of the sleeping quarters awaiting instructions."

" Shutting down now?" C3pwo half inquired before his eyes went dim and his head drooped down. The protocol unit had gone into a standby mode wherein he would not respond to anything other than a direct command.

Etan decided it was time to find out where he stood in this mission and how exactly he was assigned and what exactly his mission assignment was.

First of all, he had a word two to say to Mr. Jag Fel.

Etan searched the ship in a most efficient manner. He had been the first of the new recruits to enter the ship along with his companion droid. He and his friend had surveyed the ship before any of the others. And he and his uncles had flown a YT in their many smuggling days. That was their ship of choice.

He knew there weren't to many places to hide and if so he knew them all. The smuggler's compartments were still intact. Etan only wanted answers.

Why would his friend be treated as so and what was his assignment?

336?
