Ok guys first up I take blame for this, but I jsut responded to 22 new recruits directing them to the forum. It wasn't any fancy message and it's my fault for not checking the mail sooner as it is part of my job, I have been heping Etan and Jimmy on here.

SO GET READY GUYS cause we should have an influx of those 22 people soon if they haven't given up and they all will need direction. We can use them all so let's get them through.

Report: I've been working with Cali, Etan and Amason. I also answered alot of applications.

Comments: Though through those applications I haven't seen them show up, 22 people must have gotten on the wrong transport. I'll resend to them and see if they are still interested, we could use them.

Cyleaf- for you're outstanding work as an Operator here for us, I'm going to give you the position of Operator Lv 2- congratulations   This means that you're now able to guide people on thier SA's, and I'm beginning to think you might be a good trainer- we'll see where we can go with that.  In the mean time, keep up the excellent work folks- great job.

I've messaged some folks on the VENA-S account so be mindful of that!  Keep rockin

Very interesting idea- creating the Thread pre-arriving?  That could cut down on some confusion with recruits, but I'd still rather they make thier own post.  Never the less- explain a little further and I might be able to pick something out that would be acceptable- what did you mean by using Venom for introductions?

Venom since it's for training we can send them there to make their introduction post stating they are ready for training, and their threads could be for their assignments. Also since they don't do chapter 3 it could also be a place for them to write a small rp to show them how we write in the Navy. That could be mine and Kal's job rping meeting them and a day in class, they rp back.

AE1: =A= (I'll use either, they're interchangable)
SA or SAE: Always been that way though
ME's stands for 'Minor Exams' which is a larger section of exams:
  1) Technical Exams (TEs)
    a) Equipment Exam (ee)
    b) Technical (and/or tactical, also interchangeable) Test (tt)
  2) Leadership Exams (LEs)
MA or MAE for Master Aviator's Exam
and FOCE is undecided- that may simply pertain to starfighter pilots where as the creation of a seperate exam for ship officers would be an SCE (Ship Commander Exam).
 

Also- I haven't had a chance to get to the VENA-S e-mail in a while: things have been hectic.  However, has anyone gotten to those or have any comments on things going on here? I'm really starting to think about stepping back and taking more control in the VENA and Wing Commander positions, so please speak up if you have ideas.

Right- good to see a quick initial response to a new recruit but he brought up that he didn't receive any welcome message from us.  Guys!  I do my best to get around to that account, but the goal of our staff is to be able to pick up one another's slack- if one person can't make it, the other person does it.  That's what makes us 'efficient' and/or that was the idea.  So- please, let's see some activity and make sure I'm not the only one sending out those messages with some occasional help from Cyleaf.

Currently, Jaden hasn't announced any retirement plans from this position...  But currently we'll have to assume it as such.  So, yes- that leaves you and I for the moment.  However, I won't be moving you up because you haven't actually taken the test that are required, though the work I've set out for you may qualify you for something else.  Speaking of which- how's that goin?

Advertising positions?  I've actually had some positions in mind for things other than direct Naval Contact.  Primarilly!

Wiki Work...  You're working on summarizing, but I know things like the Fleet Medal Board, New Recruit Wiki Profiles, watching people for tests: those could hold positions.  As for additional operators...  I really wish we could get our recruits onto IRC faster and make the Operator more efficient- the operator would have to be in the VENA room of course.  I say we advertise job openings, but not necessarily for the direct staff (DS)- you'd have to pass certain pre-requisites for that.  More- if you're looking for something to do: here you go.  And we could make those offshoots of the staff, but more as techs.
