Okay everyone let's post the notes for the story here instead of using mass OOC: remarks. This is a very important story, and I don't want to see Fury's name shamed by you guys: so let's make sure we do this one right. I dont want filler posts: there will be no card playing, dice rolling, holochess playing, just sitting down and talking on the way down to the planet.
There will also be no packing posts. All your gear is packed, we just need to take off.
I want to see good, quality posts. I won't be checking over posts before you post them or anything like that. But please: write with care and be as specific as you can be. I may ask you to change something, but no more than that. Again: we're doing this mission for Fury. It's a really big mission, so don't blow it. Don't make me, or more importantly: Fury ashamed of you.
But hey: we should be able to not only accomplish this mission but have a lot of fun writing it. Do good work, and make your superiors proud. -----------------------

erm...I know you like to move quickly Kairo, but in a 250 word post you moved the entire mission waaaay forwards. As far as I know we aren't on a time limit here...so i was thinking maybe we should slow it down a little and develop the story, rather than the usual 2 pages and done that has become the standard of Army storylines lately...
One more thing. Bimissari is NOT under an hour jump away from VE space. We're almost in the unknown regions, close to Bakura and Endor. Bimissari is an outer rim world...ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GALAXY click on SE quadrant and click on the area around Tammar

Angel, Rizz said for us to move out in his post, so I figured he wanted us to get one the transport. All I did was get us to the hanger and on the transport. Rizz said he didn't want any filler posts. I saw him on IRC after I posted it and he said it was fine. I really didn't move us that much farther. And people. I have spoken with Rizzit on how we were getting to the planet. All the squads were going to be moved to the planet on the transport, not Dominion. Plus our equipment was going to be drop shipped down to the planet, and we would then land near them and get inside our vehicles. So, um, Rizz, which way are we going to do it now, since there have already been two posts which have differed from the original idea?

Well, I can go ahead and edit my post so that we are not going to be directly moving from the transport in the AT-ST's, we could use that way where the Lambda class shuttle has that big barge, and drops the AT-ST's off in that. Either way, let me know so that I can edit my post up. -----------------------

I said: to move out. That means get off the dominion. I'm going to side with angel on this: While the story is on a time limit: we are not (in real-time). Even though we're in a rather-large transport: we still need to target several nav bouys along the way. (For those that dont know a nav bouy is a hyperspace jump point.) We can't make a direct jump to Bimmisarri. I am going to commend you for your work at posting, but please remember that we don't want a story showing no failure. That's just unrealistic. Stories should show as much realism as possible, more so important ones. Squall: I'm going to ask that you delete your post. Squall, if you want to catch me online we can work out a way to edit your post as much as possible. We're already on-planet that's okay. But I wanna stretch our timeframe out a bit further than 42 minutes. I'm sorry to make you do this, but there is a pretty high standard set for you guys here.  Kuroishi: we gotta talk too! You're in tanks, not walkers.
I'm going to ask that until this mess gets straightened out, that NO ONE post on the story

That's still rather short. Sorry to nitpick, but a cross-galactic jump would have at least 4 legs since none of the major tradelanes run that way. Also it would take days, possibly as long as a week, to make this trip.

Kairo: can you edit the post a bit. 90% of it is good, I just need you to change EVERYBODY moving out to just you and me moving out. I believe I said: "Let's go do some scouting around." Just so we can do a quick sweep of the surrounding area to get an idea of where we're heading. Cause like you said in your posts: we have to protect the tanks, not follow them. Plus, Squall's buddy needs some more practice time. I'd like to slow things down just a bit more than usual story progress (referring to real time, not story time). That way there's time for character development: plus, gives us a chance for a real story (not to mention more activity) -----------------------

Oh and Rizz, I think it would've been funny if you'd put that Zafo and Gio were the ones in the wobbling AT-ST. All I could think of when reading your post was this:
"Well, Gio and Zafo I'm assuming got started to give Squall an idea of what he's doing wrong."
