I just took the time to write up a whole briefing, so I will be showing it on Monday.  Be prepared to give mission ideas, and show critisism.  DJ is right, we are the best Squadron in the Defensive fleet.

Alright, so far I've heard:  Stealth mission, that means cloaked or under the cover of some kind of id, i've heard Dabrillion as our planet (beach planet we're supposebly controlling, we take the resources and thats about it), and I've heard destroy pirates.  Post ideas here, and I have a few of my own...  (I'll edit)

(Here we go-)

Some random thoughts...  We need to establish motive and reasoning for everything, so watch that Jaden. 

Now then, stealth mission on a forest/beach planet, and theres pirates... I'm going to let Jaden post his thing first though, cause I'd just like to add off of that...

Sorry if I offended you Will.  Here is what I cooked up.  It's just an Idea.

By the way, this is not from my POV talking, proabably the person who would brief us.

Nazgul Squadron Mission

Rough Draft Idea

Welcome all Nazgul Squadron members who are present.  Today, our subject is a very serious one.

Lately, one of our listening posts just outside of the planet of Dubrillion has been picking up some odd transmissions.  They have been coming from some of our own craft, directed straight to a group of unidentified aircraft.

About a week after the transmissions, we lost contact with the listening post, and started to get suspicious.  We quickly dispatched a small squadron of recon Tie Interceptors.  They scanned around orbit, and found something very out of the ordinary.

An Imperial Lambda-Class Shuttle had met up with several Alliance cargo transport crafts.  We quickly got the ID from the shuttle, but missed getting the cargo transports IDs.

We could no longer track the shuttles through hyperspace, so we had no idea where they had gone.  Our Tie Interceptors stayed outside of orbit, scanning the area for other incoming traffic.  They found nothing else.

We forgot about the place for a while, then turned our attention back to it a few weeks ago when our recon team picked up a convoy of about 30-40 Rebel aircraft.  There was a bulk amount of cargo transports, being escorted by 2 squadrons of X-wings.  The Interceptors quickly engaged, but were defeated with ease.

The transmission we picked up from out Tie Interceptors states that they were hypering to the Hydian Way, then meeting up with their fleet on another small trade route just outside of Coruscant.

We quickly reported this to the Emperor, and got a message back just about a week ago.  They are ordering us to deal with the problem in our own way, because they are currently dealing with disputes of their own.

A few days ago, we tracked the Lambda-Class shuttle on it's hyper route.  It will be arriving from the Hydian Way in just a few days, and we are going to intervene.  We believe the shuttle is going to be exchanging more codes to the Alliance so they can cleanly enter the planet without the main Imperial Factions noticing about it.


The mission is going to be very quick, and clean.  Make the window in between your objectives very small.

Once the Lambda-Class Shuttle, which we have designated Sienar, jumps in, we are going to deploy our fighters.  The Sienar is being escorted by a small squadron of 8 Tie Interceptors.

Dreadnaught Vanity is going to jump in right behind Sienar, and launch a boarding craft.  Nazgul Squadron will be dispatched to take the position of the escorting Tie Interceptors.  Once the Interceptors have been taken care of, the boarding craft will board Sienar, and capture it.

Once the Sienar is under our control, Nazgul Squadron will escort the shuttle to it's designated meeting with the Alliance Cargo Craft.  Then, the Vanity will move to its hyper point, and jump out on the signal.  To our advantage, there is only 1 Squadron of A-wings assisting the cargo crafts this time.  We have equipped the Sienar with a transmission jamming device, so that the Alliance will not be able to call for reinforcements.

Once at the designated meeting point, our officers on the Sienar are going to give the Alliance fake Identification codes.  Once the codes are compromised, the Vanity will jump right in front of the convoy, and launch several boarding and disabling craft.  The Sienar will hyper out at that time.

Once all of the cargo transports are disabled, the boarding parties loaded with our commandos will be loaded onto the cargo craft.  We will repair the ships to our fullest ability, then place the ID codes we acquired onto the cargo transports, so that we have a safe ride onto the planet.

Nazgul Squadron will guard the Vanity while it spills out a squadron of Tie Bombers, then they will protect it until it hypers back out.  After all is clear, all attention will be turned planet-side.  Once the cargo transports have safely made it to the planet, and embedded themselves into the mining systems, Nazgul Squadron and the bombers will do a series of attacks on things on the island.

Our first objective is to take out the Satellite dish in the center of the island.  Nazgul squadron will first establish space superiority, then the bombers will hit the satellite while being escorted by Nazgul.

Once the Satellite is out, we will be assured of no reinforcements coming from outside of the planet.  After the bombing of the satellite, the next target will be the power generator.

The power generator will be an easy take out, and will disable the shield surrounding the main mining facility, so that our commando's can capture the officers on the inside of the facility.

Another problem on the island is the hanger bays.  They are loaded with 2 squadrons of Tie Interceptors, and one of just regular Ties.  They will surely deploy the fighters on the sign of our attack.  Nazgul Squadron will then be put to the test of taking out all of the fighters.

The bombers will hit the hangers while Nazgul takes out the fighters.  The AA in the area will be taken out after the power generator is disabled, so we won't need to worry about that.

After the commando's have finished their job, they will take the cargo transports back off of Dubrillion to their hyper point.  Nazgul Squadron will escort them, along with the bombers, until they are at safety.  At that point the Vanity will jump back in, collect Nazgul and hyper back out.

As I said before, it will be a quick mission, in, and then out of there.  I will once again highlight the objectives for you.

1. Sienar captured
2. Meeting Secured/Sabotaged
3. Planet side/Bombings
4. Commando's retrieved
5. Everyone Makes off planet back home safely.

Hmm... Very interesting. It's similar to our ideas, isn't it, Jaden? It has a little bit of ideas from each of our plots.

Yes it does, and I am thinking of editing it up so that we can incorporate Will's idea.  Shazam said something to add on to the bad weather, a Monsoon.  That would be a great idea.  Hard to fly.  It would be quite the challange.

Alright guys, very interesting.  However, we need to take a few things into account.  Number one, you suggested that they built a base on a planet that we depend on for resources, which is highly improbable.  Plus, you said they had a couple of groups of fighters, or atleast pilots on their side to control those interceptors and normal fighters.  That's saying our guys turned on us. 

So, I like the objectives, most certainly, but now I want a storyline.  What exactly happened?  We've got guys making deals with the rebels to take our resources to them?  That sounds about right and pretty good, and I think it would work.  But what about the bombing on the planet?  I mean, if they don't necessarilly have thier own base, would could very well be bombing our own...

(clear this up for me just a bit...)

Hmm, I see what you're talking about, Shazam. I think we should get rid of the bombing part. All we have to do is do a little recon on the enemies and the defectors. Then, once they begin to leave, we track them down through hyperspace and attack. But a few transports make it back to Dubrillion, so we follow. Then we get caught in the storm and have to move on foot. Do you guys like? I'd like to hear some feedback on my suggestions.

Good idea jack.

I Know we are writing a story on nazgul but we cant have all of nazguls just talking about fighting and they are not fighting back so how bout if we make some kind of enemy to compete against us to show them how tough we really are

Hmm...  An enemy...  I don't really want it to be a general or something, because it seems we just had that, although I kind of half turned him good...  Right, I say its someone aboard the Lamda shuttle...  Yes, I could most certainly have that.  When we grab the shuttle, he's taken prisoner, but while aboard the craft he's taken too, he's breaks out, forces them to land the thing takes off on Dubrillion to round up some buddies and take off for the unknown.  Because, you can't just leave your resources and contacts behind, because then they arn't what you think they are... 

So, new idea and I'll just run through whats happenin...  We get kind of skippy because we find out that one of our guys is goin off and taking the crap that we pay for to get mined, to the rebels instead of just letting us have our stuff.  We get mad, follow the Lamda shuttle that goes out to arrange some stuff with the rebels, capture it, and basically stage a trade with some fake codes and set a trap for the rebels.  Now, where is this trap?  Do we follow them?  Because that would bring us out of our territory, and as awesome as we are, we're only a squadron, but a good one, but not that good...  So, we await the arrival of the resource transports while suddenly finding we have to deal with several transports trying to jump out of the area, so we have to run off an stop them, but at the same time, the transport comes in and makes a landing...  I kind of like this...

Why don't we go undercover as a pirate group when we attack the Rebels? Because if they happen to figure out it was us, they might retaliate on the VE fleet or something... And it looks like the Wing story is pretty much over. We can probally start this story very, very soon.

Not quite, I kind of like the idea of giving the stories actual names, so we'll wait for just a little while longer.  Lets establish whats going to happen, and I'm cutting out the idea with pirates because we need not to dress up and pretend because they probably won't retaliate if we're watching out for future ventures they might choose to conduct... 

So, we've got a dude running around, trying to gather up his gang, take off with what cash he has and run like the wind.  Well, our orders start with:

Identify the shuttle, and capture it
Assume the mission of the captured men
Give false codes to the Rebels and set trap for incoming vessels...

That sounds about right.  Might we add something like intelligence onto that?  Like we attach a tracking system to one of the ships we meet with or with the Lambda so that we might be able to gain something other than our own resources back?  Sounds kind of good, but that will have no involvement with our mission whatsoever...  Anyways, I say we start off with that and then move on...  Any objections?  If not, I'll create the story and we'll get this thing underway, I'll give those turns I discussed, and you may add your own of course, but lets keep this thing reasonable guys.

I'll volunteer for that idea. Hey, my character had a few Rebel run-ins before, so I'm sure he can bypass their access codes to change them... That's an idea...

It was a good idea, but like i said before, we would run into something that would take us 3 pages to get you out of, which Nazgul doesn't take the time for.  Remember, we are a quick squadron, In, then out.  Thats how I feel about Nazgul.

I suppose I feel the same as Jack on that one.  The mission is quick, but the story is detailed and many tailed, each person adding a different point of view.  You run throught the same battle with different ideas and perspectives, so expect some definate quick trips.  Now, I say, don't go all over and be like superman or something, be like Batman instead, because he can kick all of thier butts...  Anyways, I encourage you all to be creative with your post, while attempting to the best of your abilities to stay within the mission parimitars.  I think that's all I've got to say. Les do it...
