I have been thinking about that.
I can either do my tactical bit or help out with the fighting more directly.
If I go the pilot route I wouldn't want to displace a proven squadron commander but it would be wierd taking orders from a lower ranking officer.
My idea is to go ahead and leave it to the squadron I'd be joining.
So what would you guys rather have a Rear Admiral on the fighting line or someone helping Japheth drive the rebels nuts trying to figure out what the heck we're doing?
I'll even bring my TIE Horror with me. -----------------------

We've had much higher ranking officers in squadrons in the past. Its not unheard of. PJ was in a squadron with a RAD rank, and JMac was a LtCmdr -----------------------

Didn't see it before, but I do now.
I have a personal ship as well... Two! A cruiser and a fighter! The interceptors are nice... But they arn't quite as well equipped... So, I decided I'd get a Viper instead with the CD player and surround sound... *Shrug... Not to mention the cup holder... -----------------------

I have a lot of ranks I have possessed all with this same character.
Most of them are IW ranks that I can't entirely remember anymore.
The true gods are the mission makers and the tactical officers and such. They control far more of our destiny then any other rank or position. -----------------------
