How active are you guys at the moment, might go roll up a Sith tank if it means I'll have someone else to do things with.

I've just got the one Sniper IA at the moment, now level 12. Not bad I think, since I just got to start playing the evening before last. Right now I'm on each evening, and possibly during the day, but there's one class this semester that may start eating large chunks of time. We'll have to see how that goes.

So...I've pretty much defected and am now Republic scum. I can't make myself go back to my stupid Sniper.

Dec has rolled with me so if anyone else is keen to try out the underdogs add us (Seguin and Aki).

So, it is becomnig clear that the VE effort into SWTOR is, so far, not working very well. A part of this is because we haven't recruited much in-game (partly my fault, as I've been playing less due to school). I think many people have also begun to let their accounts expire after the initial month.

Mine is still active, though I'll admit I've been playing my Republic characters on Vornskr server for the last week or so considerably more than my Imperials on VH. Who is still playing, and what do you play where (rep/imp, server)? Perhaps we can try to either re-consolidate or join some third party guild that has higher activity or something?

Maybe this whole effort has just been a bust, in which case I'll probably start looking into moving my Imp characters into a different guild so I can actually participate in the end-game. Let me know, also, if your TOR account is no longer active so that I know you're no longer playing.

Just remember if you're on any RP server, keep plugging the VE!


How is the game doing on the whole? Is it going well or is it floundering like all MMORPG's since WoW?

Actually on that note, and for people still playing - would there be any interest in moving to an RP-PVP or RP server? I've glanced over at the FES's forum, and it looks like their guild isn't performing well either, so the impetus to stay there is somewhat lessened - other than, you know, already having characters there.

My account is also good through to June.  I haven't played my Vulkar character in a few days, owing to some pain-in-ass ganking that really got me annoyed.  I think I would have been happier on an RP server.

My best friend has graciously offered to buy me 6 months of play time in SW:TOR (I know - awesome), and I would definitely be more interested in RP than PVP when I start up. 

So, sounds like quite a few people are interested in checking out an RP server. I'll do a bit of research to see if I can pin one down that would be agreeable.

While we're talking about it - are we still good with being Imperial? I know some people have been trying out Republic stuff (I have been). One thing I can say about the Republic side is that there tend to be less of them - Warzone queues are really fast, and not all Huttball. The flip side is that there are fewer people to do pickup groups with for PVE content, and probably less people to recruit.

I'd prefer West Coast, I guess, so I can play with my friends out here as well.  But I'm not really sure how any of that works, now that I think of it; can I play with VE folks and other folks, or only if we all happen to be on the same server?  (I really need to get up to speed on MMOs... is there a MMORPG 101 guide out there, do you think?)

I see.  Well, in the interest of togetherness, we should probably do East Coast, then, yeah?  As a reasonable compromise between Europe and the West Coast?

Any RP server is good with me, as I will have odd hours regardless of East Coast or West Coast.  I would prefer to keep things Imperial if possible, but I am open to the Republic.

I've been playing on Lord Adraas and just got an Imperial Agent (cracking good storyline!  Real VENI-style stuff!) up to level 10. 

I've been following the chatter on Trade Chat, and there seems to be some RP-heavy guilds there, so I'm going to check them out once I get to a hub like Vaiken Station or Dromund Kaas.

Oh yes, and the character is called "Tarith", rather than something serpent-derived, as I felt a simple first name was more in keeping with an RP server.  If any of you try the place send me a whisper!
