The following is the official position of the Office of the Naval Commander in Chief in regards to the Jedi, Sith, and Force in general:

This office does not officially recognize the existence of the defunct cult known as the "Jedi Order". Furthermore anyone claiming to be a Jedi or to have any knowledge of the so-called "Force" is hereby considered a traitor and should immediately be arrested and brought before me for interrogation and execution. Anyone assisting these zealous renegades shall be considered an accomplice and dealt with in a similar manner.
