Hey. Yes, Snipes and Jager are drunk. Snipes will still try (and I emphasize try) to do his job. He's still the best man to have in a fight, but rational thought is going to, uh, plummet. A lot. Meh, Bright put me in the morgue so I decided to have a bit of fun with it. Summary thus far:
-Anteevy turned up nothing
-Snipes had a lead in the prison, but he didn't know enough to help us
-Bright had a lead who is now dead
--I've found some weird things with the body, and plan on uncovering that the bug is from a planet somewhere
-Jeg and Bright are going to interview the slicer-chick we captured on Anteevy, she'll tell us Frozt was from the same planet the bug was
-Jester ships out to investigate
From there I figure we'll get ambushed, or just run into remnant troops at Frozt's home, maybe an noghri, who are trying to clean up the mess. Battle ensues (just to keep the story lively), we discover the Remnant is behind it and by extension, Thrawn, and return to Tadath to report it to our commanders. Then we get the orders to infiltrate the Remnant using the IDs of the stormies we killed.
Any of this is negotiable, this is just where I've invisioned the story heading. Ok. We're wrapping up the first part of the story. Finish off any tangent you're on, and we'll get moving to Ylesia. Planetary information can be found here. Rebels liberated it from Hutt control, but we'll assume it fell into Imperial hands soon thereafter (no information about the planet between Yavin and Yuuzahn Vong invasion). We'll land on the outskirts, and deploy on our speeder bikes to Frozt's "home" The plan is: Once there we have a bit of time to investigate. Then we'll be ambushed by an Imperial Remnant detachment (courtesy of Thrawn) who will be there to clean up and link between Thrawn and the "resistance" whom Frozt was a part of. I'd say perhaps 2 squads of well trained stormies + maybe a Noghri to make things interesting. Fighting ensues, we of course win. Coincidentally the troops Thrawn sends for coverup, end up uncovering Thrawn's connection to the attacks on the VE. Feel free to deviate from this however you like, but keep in mind the end goal of linking Thrawn + laying the foundation for an infiltration mission into the Remnant Forces. If you want to make another post on Tadath, I suggest getting it done before Thursday. Evening of Thursday I'll post up our departure from Tadath.
