Josh Groban is a very gifted singer....he sang with Celine Dion when he was 17...filling in for Andrea Bocelli (giant amazing Italian singer). He sings Italian songs, though his new album leans more towards songs in English...with a very Josh Grobany twist. I dunno....I'm a chorus geek. :P I love the Italian songs..

ok just got home and i look at this. First i see Celine Dion being talked about (Woo Celine!) then i forgot what i was gunna say EDIT: I remember now! it was the only song i like (and know) by him is You Raise Me Up (actually thats not true there is this one newer song by him i heard on the radio a few months back but i dont remember the name) but anyway I heard him sing You Raise Me Up on American Idol with a bunch of kids from Africa. It was practically amazing. EDIT x2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OOhd6R2EiY that performance brought a tear to my eye when i watched it on American Idol, cause those kids were so happy. The whole point of that episode was charity. American Idol Gives Back. They raised nearly... well i dont remember but it was more than $50 million dollars for kids and people in poverty in America and Africa.
EDIT: oh yeah. It wasnt a terrible thing to do. Bringing in children from Africa to sing with such a great singer is a blessing to them. Eclipse Squad

I was at his concert two weeks ago and he said that just fans from his website had raised over 800,000 dollars for his foundation.
He has many songs with Lady Black Mombosa (one of Oprah's favorite groups) on his new album...3 or 4 of his songs have a distinct African-feel to them. I can't name too many singers that have actually integrated their causes to their music, can you? Jen Knight
