I wish fireworks weren't illegal where I live...stupid kid who threw a lit firecracker into a fireworks store in the early 1900's. -----------------------

I'm not American but I celebrated the Fourth of July with a couple of tiny bottles of French wine, along with some home-made cookies cooked by my girlfriend with candles lit all around us. I personally brought a small dark chocolate cake for the date.
It was our half-year anniversary yesterday, so yeah, 4th of July rocks. -----------------------

I'm not from the US, so we celebrate on the 1st of July. It was all fun while the fireworks were going off. But it was back to "patrol duty' for me when it was over. -----------------------
