In this weekend's meeting we had quite a bit of Naval news, if no one heard
First off, as you've no doubt noticed, the materials for the ESC have been released and the competition dates are set in stone. However, promotions and awards for the last month or two of activity have also been given.
To start, we had two folks come through the academy and receive promotions for their work:
Decembrist and
Skar Darkanto were both promoted to
SCRW for their efforts at the Academy. Furthermore, Decembrist was awarded the Star of the Academy
[SoA] for his exemplary and additional work in only a three day period.
For those who are already enlisted,
Tomas received a double promotion from Petty Officer 1st Class
(PO1) to Senior Chief Petty Officer
(SCPO). Also,
Etan Evnstar was promoted from
LCRW to
SCRW. Lastly,
C-3PX2 has been promoted from
SCRW to
PO2. Each of these men have shown excellence in activity or other areas promoting the health of the Navy. In particular, Tomas, Etan and Than Sion are all to receive 50,000 ICs for their work in updating Naval Stories and creating briefs on the wiki.
Tomas came in first so he'll be receiving the Victory Cross: Blue Trim
[VC:B].
Than Sion came in second, receiving the Cross of Bravery
[CBV] and
C-3PX2 came in third, receiving the Merit Cross 1st Class
[MC1].
