He was deep in thought and seemed to be fiddling with some electronics when the Sith Guardian, Trigit walked in. Without turning around Tylen greeted the fellow Jedi, "Greetings Trigit" Trigit, sensing the unease in Tylen’s voice he suspected Tylen was up to something. He figured from the tools on his desk and all the equipment laying around he was probably working on another lightsaber. “I have come to tell you that we will be leaving shortly, gather your things and meet up with everyone aboard our ship.” “Right away,” Tylen replied. He threw some of the equipment into a drawer and wrapped some stones in a rag and stuffed them into his black tunic. He picked up his saber, attached the small hilt to his belt and walked to face Trigit, he bowed. “I’m ready.” Trigit trying to sense what everything was for and how he managed to get all this equipment quickly came out of his thinking state. “That quickly eh? Alright lets get going” The automatic door opened and the two walked out of the quarters and down the long corridor to the other rooms... ------------------ Journeyman Tylen Jaap IP: 207.224.203.163 ExarKun Galactic Citizen Posts: 73 Registered: Sep 2000   posted August 28, 2001 11:28 AM                -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Greetings Dark Jedi, sorry I havent been to active latly, I kinda have limited resources as far as computers go latly. But I do what I can. The one thing said that Kadann and myself had been intercepting strange messages from a strange group of people, well this story is kinda about that. So this story takes place alittle before the Dark Jedi had been set out. Part one Unergound was the perfect place to hide on Ord Mantel , it's dark mysterious labranth's made it home to many creatures that did not want to be found. A small Arconon scurried around in the deserted tunnels, sewege drains, water lines, and subway tracks. After the sevreal years he had lived on the planet he became some-what of an expert at traveling through the dark empty tunnels. Only rarely did he come obove ground, usually only to catch up on news and current events, than he would disapere back to the sub-terrain trails. Finally, finally the Arconon had information that would prove useful. With what he recently learned he may finally get a lift off this rock. He travelled swiftly left, right, sometimes back-tracking so anyone who followed him would become untterly lost. After sevreal hours he came to his small chamber that after many years he came to know as home. The small dug-out hole in the wall of a subway track wasn't much of a home to other beings, however most Arconon's lived their whole lives in dark tunnels, and mazes of simular envoirment. The being enterd his chamber and imeditaly went to his holo-transmitter. The holo-transmitter coast the Acronon a hefty price. Such technology was rare on the Ord Mantel, but sevreal years prior he aquired it from a gang crime-lord in exchange for valuable information. The small being went about the operations, and set up for the transmitter. He only prayed that the frequncy of the Vast Empire had not changed since he last new. A Bothan owed the Acronon a favor sevreal years back, and suplied him with some sort of channel of operations for the Vast Empire. If the information was correct than the Arconon would be able to contact the Vast Empire. Static formed it's way up from the trasmitter. Than the form of a hooded man materialized. "Greetings Sir," The Arconon begain somwhat nervously. "Our name is Nimpa Portent. And we have information concerning the Vast Empire, that you might be interested in." Arconon's normally lived in dence populations of their species, as a collective. The words I, or me were not even in their vocabulary. The Blue hologram of the hooded man sent out evil vibs to Nimpa. The cloked figure made no movment as he spoke. "Yes?" Nimpa counitued despite his nerves. "We are sending this tranmission from a world of the Ord Mantel. And we have discoverd news of a crime lord organizing the Force sensitves of the planet to form an army. He swore his vegance on the Vast Empire for unkown reasons some years ago. He is planning to create an army of Jedi warriors to eventually attack the Vast Empire. His plans our still forming but every day he units more and more apprentices under his rule. He is a powerful speaker, and it will not take him long to convince every Force sensitve in the system to unite." The dark hologram nodded in thought. "Why are you interested in helping the Vast Empire?" He inquired. Nimpa took a deep breath than spoke shaking from fear of rejection, "We thought prehaps that for our services the mighty Vast Empire would have mercy on us, and transport us off this world...." The dark man shook with sinister laughter. "Of coarse....." He hissed "An Acronon such as you will only be interested for selfish reasons. Tell me Nimpa, how did you come across this valuable information?" Nimpa couldn't help it, he was afraid of the dark man that stood in front of him. But the burning desire for freedom overpowerd the feeling of fear. So he spoke again, "We have connections, and friends of all kinds.....News of this kind travels quickly on Ord." The dark image responded. "I see - very well, than I will send an investagator to confirm what you say. Should you be telling the truth we shall grant you freedom. Should you be lieing you will die slowly." Nimba pressed his lips firmly togather to keep them from shaking. "Stay close to your tranmitter, I will give you further instrustions soon." Dark Lord Kadann, master of the Force, finished sending tranmission to the tiny blue- white hologram image of the Arconon. He made a slight gesture, and across the room a relay clicked and the tranmission ended. The Arconon's image shutterd than faded. Kadann stood strong and proud in his evil glory on the transmission grid. He meditated on the ripples, and currents of the Force. After long, intence years of study, the dark Lord could effortlessly inturpret every wave, and shudder. With out a doubt the being that previously stood in front of him had not been lieing, an up-rising was evolving. But was this the same organization that had destroyed Atrus? Kadann was fimiluar with the Ord Mantel. And as he understood in the same system was a feirce army of strange pirates, witch the Vast Empire was currently on good terms with. Sending an army to wipe out the crimanal up-rising would be taken as a direct assult on the pirates and met with angry assults on the Empire. His only option was to send an agent the Ord Mantel and deal with the up-rising. Kadann was sure that a few stratigic assainations would end the crime lord's plans quickly. Or at least tell the VE what they needed to know, was this the same group that led to the death of Darth Atrus? The Dark Lord made another gesture to a panel on the wall to the left of him. The Force rippled with responce and the relay clicked. He would send one of his Desiples. The energy blades twisted and spun, clashing togather than whisking apart . The two men cirled each other untill one would attack, trying to gain as much ground as possible. It was attack and defend, lunge and parry as the two foe's battled on. Sweet slowly slid it's way down Exar Kun's forhead. The Sith was determined to defeat Talon in there daily training session. He took two small steps forward feinted left than attacked low, coming up from the ground hoping to catch Talon off guard. No such luck, Talon's Jedi reflexis were too sharp for such an amature technique. He spun his black blade down meeting Exar's Crimson one. As he battled Kun recalled years previous to when he learned the art of the lightsabre. When he was very young his father had tought him the illourious ways of Teras Kasi. An ancient fighting art, all but forgotten. When Kun joined the Vast Empire and begain his Dark Side training he carfully formed a style of fighting where he combined the Jedi fighting arts, with the Teras Kasi fighting arts. This hybrid fighting art proved to be deadly, an encreased Exar's fighting skills to a level even most Jedi were un-firmiluar with. Even with this advantage Talon could expertly defend against Exar, always being a formidable oppenet. The blades seem to scream with pain as they crashed into eachother, sparks flew into the air like stars in the night, quickly vainishing into the air. The ozone scent of the blades filled the room, the way a lake smells after an intence lightning storm. Talon used the momentium from his powerful parry to jump into the air and twist his body around, landing behind Exar and slashing at his back. Exar could no longer see Talon, but could eaesily sence him using his Jedi training to tap into the Force. He pulled his sabre high into the air, and let it drop behind his left shoulder, just meeting Talon's blade by miliseconds. Talon grunted in anger and spun around to reset for another attack. Just as they were about to engage again the fimiluar buzzing sound of a holoprojector echoed through the chamber. In the blink of an eye both dark warriors powerd down their energy weapons and kneeled before the forming image of Darth Kadann. "Master," The two Jedi said in unison. Kadann looked at them for sevral long seconds than spoke. "I am pleased with the way your training is comming along, you have grown powerful Talon. Your services to the Vast Empire are much opreateated. "I live to serve my Master." Were Talon's only words. "Yes - you are dismissed Dark Jedi" With a bow Talon rose and left the chamber, the door hissed open and closed as he left the room. "Exar," Kadann begain. "You are to go to the Ord Mantel. Sources indicate a crimanal up-rising. You are to throw the forming rebellion into disarry. Kill their leader, and bring back with you the Arconon, Nimba Portent." The transmission skipped, and shudderd than came back to full power. "The Arconon is not a priority, but if at all possible bring him back the the Super Star Destroyer Mustang. You shall leave imeditly, there is an old docking area in the out-skirts of the crimanl city, land your shuttle their, and do not attract attention to yourself. If the Arconon meets you there lock him in your cargo bay untill you finish your mission. May the Dark Side travel with you my myrmidon." Exar bowed as the tranmission ended. Three gamorean body guards, followed my one human, and one hooded being swiftly made their way through the sub-terrain tunnels. The human walked with convidence and pride, but concealed in his arrogance was anger. One of his spies reported in that the tiny Arconon Nimba Portent had alerted the Vast Empire of his plans. This was un-acceptable. They slowly approached the Arconon's hide out when a sort of blueish illimination came from the chamber. The human singneld his comrades to stop and be silent as he listend. The form of an Arconon materelized in front of Darth Kadann. The creature's trianglular head slowly came into clearaty. "I am sending an agent to investagate your claim. He is a Dark Jedi, and should land in the out-skirts of your planet within forty-eight hours. Be ready to meet him there or you will miss your ride." Kadann spoke without care for the Arconon's life. His only concern was dealing with the crimanls. "Thank you Sir. We will meet your Dark Jedi agent on the obandond landing pad just out side the city. We hope you will learn to trust us, we speak the truth." The image faded than disapeared. Kadann closed his eyes and once again felt the ripples of the Force flow over his being. Somthing about the conversation was wrong, nothing that the Arconon said, but somthing else-where. Illuesive. "Well well Nimba...." The human slowly enterd Nimba's chamber followed by three pig like gamorean's one with a force pike, the other two with vibro-axes. A fourth body guard stayed outside in the shadows. "Sir!" Nimba shouted as he fumbeld with the control switch for the holo-transmitter. "I must say.... I am disappointed with you." The human said as the Arconon trembled. "After all I have done for you, you still have no loyalty for me, or my cause?" "Mister Glenkem Sir! It.....it is not what it looks like Sir!" The human slowly drew a blaster off his hip and trained it on the Arconon. "I'm afraid it is what it looks like Nimba." As the words left his mouth a red energy bolt slashed it's way out of the barrel and in-beded it self deep into the Arconon's chest. With a gargle the Arconon fell to the dirty gound. His body already cold and still. "Well, that's that I suppose." Glenkem annouced as tiny streams of smoke snaked their way up-ward from the dead Arconon. "What do we do about the Dark Jedi, Master?" The hushed voice of the hooded man inquired. "...'We' do nothing my friend. I'm afraid that Nimba will not be meeting the agent at the landing plat form, but I still don't see why I can't send some friends to do the welcoming." The human's eyebrows arched as he continued. "I need you to stay with me. The Vast Empire cannot be alerted of our pressence. You will be in charge of orginizing an ambush for the Jedi if he finds away past the soldiers I am sending." Part Two The Infiltrator hummed to life as Exar pressed the ignition button. The powerful engines turned over in the pit of the sleek ship and green plasma boiled to life in the exaust system. The shuttle's smooth black exterier slightly vibrated as it slowly rose from the deck of the huge star destoryer and rocketed into deep space. After plotting his course in the nav computer Exar took one more look through the veiw screen than retreated to the main hull of his craft. Kun's black armor reflected particals of light making the Sith himself look as though he were illumanated. The long black cape draped over Exar's back swayed as he walked to the main hull of his star ship. His wild black hair sprang from his scull in all directions. And the hilt of his lightsabre danced on his hip. The Sith Lord slowly sat down on a placed cution in the center of the main chamber. Kun closed his eyes and extended his awareness around him. Feeling the Force he began to mentaly prepare for his upcomming mission. In the heart of the city, a huge sleek black building sprung from the ground, towering over the rest of the structures. Glenkem seated himself in his private corters. The last few hours had been hecktec. If this Dark Jedi did come to Ord Mantel, and did report back to the Vast Empire all of Glenkem's carfully laid plans would be useless. He rested his face in his hands as he thought about what the terrible results would be. Glenkem's hatred went farther than the want to destroy the Vast Empire. Yes, it went much farther than that, down to a more personal level. Glenkem long ago swore to himself he would see the destruction of the Dark Jedi order of the Vast Empire. Years prior Glenkem himself had been a powerful Jedi. Strong in the light side of the Force. But an encounter with the Dark Jedi Atrus had resulted in a fierce battle that had stripped Glenkem of his access to the light side forever. After his defeat from Atrus, Glenkem had retreated to the far reaches of space. Hiding for years. He had kept his vow that he would protect and serve the Galaxy forever, and in his years of hiding Glenkm had come across ancient teaching of the Jensaari. The Jensaari were a sect of Jedi taught to use the dark side of the Force defencivly. A very narrow path, Glenkem had no other choice, so he had given himself over to the darkness, vowing to use it only for defence. Even with the darkside Glenkem relised he was weak with the Force. Knowing that he could never complete his vow by himself he begain to train others. The Waypoint of the Force he called his group of apprentices. Also vowing to have his vengence on Atrus. As he did. Now Atrus was dead, and more would follow. One by one the DJO would be destroyed. One by one Glenkem would stop the spread of hatred in the Galaxy, even though he himself was in the dark. He himself was his worst enemy. Ten armed beings raced into the old space port. Four of them carried blasters, three carried vibro-axes, and the other three carried force pikes. They hid themselves from veiw and prepared for the arrival of the Dark Jedi they had been sent to ambush. Hours went by and nothing was seen nor heard. Just as a skinny Rodian was dozing off the humming of a space ship could be distantly heard. A Twi'lek elbowd the Rodian awake as they took aim on the shuttle. The black long nosed craft came down on the landing pad. The stabilisers shot exaust down on the area, clouds of dust, and smoke shifted through the air as the ship settled to the laning area. As soon as the Infiltrator landing Kun could sence through dark ripples in the Force that an ambush waited outside. He extended his bubble of awareness as far as he could. It stretched out farther and farther untill in his mind he could map out the outer terrain. Nine - no ten beings awaited him. Four were hidden in high postions, no doubt these four had blasters of some kind. The rest were waiting in the distance to charge once the ramp lowerd, they must have some kind of hand-to-hand weapons Kun thought. He formed a stratigy in his mind, than prepared to put it into action. The skinny Rodion that was previously drifting off shoulderd his blaster. He trained it on the ramp of the black star ship, an grinned sidisticly. Once the ramp begain to lower he would wait - wait untill the Vast Empire agent walked out, than he would blast the sucker away. Should be easy enough he thought with a grin. A few minutes past by untill finally the ramp began to slowly lower toward the ground. The Rodion felt excitment flood into him as the ramp touched down with a soft thud. Soon, very, very soon...He thought. In a blur of speed a dark streak shot out of the shuttle toward the unexpecting beings waiting with vibro weapons. A red beam boiled to life in his hand as he sliced down two Gamoreons. The beings with blasters took aim and fired at the dark blur. In the blink of an eye he angled the crimson beam and the red bolts deflected off, back to the shooters. One sniper cought his bolt in the chest, the other took his back in the head. They both fell backwards out of sight. That's impossible! The Rodion thought with fear as he opend fire. Two bolts of energy blew from his barrel. The dark agent sent one back at the Rodian, and one to the final sniper, the bolt seemed to slowly come speeding back to the Rodion as he thought again, that's impossible! The blast enterd the green flesh of the rodion, and he fell backwards into nothingness. The Sith handeld his lightsabre with the finess of a master. He batted away four blaster bolts, after mowing down two Gamoreons. His stradigy was working like clock work. His crimson blade spun and twirled, Kun leapt into the air and twirled down to land behind a slow moving Gran. All the Gran could do was watch as the Sith Lord came down behind him, and passed his friction-less blade through his body. Kun did'nt stay long enough to see the two halves of the Gan fall to the ground. He spun away and attacked again. Two left. Exar sneered at the remaining two, one held a vibro-axe, the other held a force pike. The one with the force pike jabbed at Exar. It would have been easy for him to slice through the spear like weapon, but there was no challenge to that. Instead he spun to the left and kneeled slipping his blade between the being's legs and shot it up like a scythe, cutting from the crotch up. The creature let out a stuned scream of pain but was quickly silenced. Nine down, one to go. Kun lowerd himself into a defencive stance. The Dark Side raged inside him. The feeling was fimiluar. The darkness wanted to consume him, wanted to blind him with fury and rage, but Kun held it at bay as he glared at the final opponet. The human male raised his weapon and charged at the Sith Lord. Exar spun on his right heal and shot his left leg out in a powerful side kick. Smashing his boot into the human's rib cage. Ribs snaped like twigs as the human stoped in his tracks, before he could react from the pain Kun droped to the ground and laid on his side. The Sith sicored his legs, his left heal hitting the humans upper thigh, his right foot hitting just below the knee. The human fell back wards and hit thr ground with a thud. In the blink of an eye Kun sprang up and leapt into the air, angleing the blade of his lightsabre down. The tip crashed into the humans chest and sunk deeply into his body. Exar spun around and sat into a Teras Kasi defencive stance, but there was no use. The battle was over. Kun relaxed his stance and powerd down his weapon. Part Three The sleek black structure was the masterpiece of any engeiner, four massive sides of the building sprug up from the streets below. They came high into the clouds forming a perfect peek that scraped the skys. The silouete of a human stood at the top floor, gazing out into the black city. Helkem took a deep breath and turned from his window. A hooded figure stood in the far corner of the room. The figure's dark pressence eminated through out the chamber. Helkem's gaze fell on the being as he spoke, "Has there been any word from the convoy we sent to stop the dark Jedi?" The words burned there way from his lips. Helkem did not want to hear the answer, but he knew he had to. "There has been no word from them my master.” “They are all dead." Glenkem said without remorse for the beings lives. "How can you be so certian?" The dark figure inquried. "I am certian." Were Helkem’s words. "Had you let me go to him, this situation would have been ended hours ago Master." "Prehaps, but non-the less it will soon be over. If the dark Jedi did survive the ambush at the docking bay, there is no way he will survive the attack that awits out side. You will stay with me. This dark Jedi is'nt my only threat, I will need your protection. I have grown weak with the Force. My ability to access it has faded almost completely." Kun sped his way to the city on his striped down speeder bike, the speeder was more of a seat on an engine than a bike. It's engine hummed and shifted as he enterd the city. The Sith zipped through the streets. Turning down allys, and under bridges. It didn't take a master of the Force to conclude that the crime lord's head quarters was the super structure at the heart of the city. In no time Exar arrived at the front of the building, a lone guard stood out side, looking very bored. A blaster strapped to his back, and a force pike in his hand. The guard straightend his posture when he saw the speeder. "Halt!" The guard orderd, as Exar came to a stop. "Who are you and wh...." "You will take me to your leader." The Sith inturupted. He made a slight movment with his index fingure as he spoke. "I will take you to my leader..." The guard echoed. "You shall take me in the back way, so we don't attract attention." The Sith lord had control over the weak minded being now. The guard's eyes glossed over as he responded. "I shall take you in the back way, so we don't attract attention." "Guard one report in! Guard one report in now!" Helkem screamd into the comlink, with no effect. "Where could he be?!" The human said with annoyance. "Bla'ir.... go see where the guard is, I have a bad feeling about this." A shadowy figure in the corner of the room bowed, and exited the chamber. Again Helkem barked into the comlink "Guard one, check in!" Bla'ir stalked through the corridors of the building. The hood of his cloak coverd his black, pupilless eyes. As he walked he kept one hand on the hilt of his lightsabre. It had been far to long since Bla'ir had felt the sweet sensation of his blade clashing against another. Bla'ir scaned the distance of the hallway. There! He saw the lifless body of the being that should have been guarding the outer gate. Bla'ir approached the body and looked over it, the neck had been broken. The Jedi was inside, he had avoided the ambush at the front! Bla'ir turned on his heal and raced through the corridors, there was no way Helkem's other guards could defeat the Emperial agent. And Helkem had grown far to weak to access the Force for defence. He had to get back to Helkem before the Dark Jedi did! Gliding in the pressence of the Dark side Kun approached the office of Helkem. With a snap-hiss his lightsabre lanced out of the hilt, to it's full extenseion. The Sith touched the tip of his blade to the durasteel door, carving away at the metal. In seconds a hole was melted away in the door and the Sith enterd. Exar took in the room: The human, sat in a chair against the far wall, a pair of Squid Heads grabbed for the hosters, and a Rodian body-guard already had his out. Led by the power of the Dark side Exar brought up his weapon, as a red bolt hissed it's way out of the Rodion's blaster. Exar spun the lightsabre and angled it slightly, the bolt pounded against the energy blade and bounced back at the shooter, hitting the Rodion in the chest. Another bolt seared it's way toward him, in a quick shift of his hands the blade cought, and threw back the red bolt. The Quarren took the deflected beam in the face. Sending his lifless body to the floor. Exar leapt at the remaining body guard. The Quarren had his blaster half way up, and fired a stunned shot that missed Exar and hit the wall behind him. With a twist of his wrists and a jerk of his hips Exar lobbed off the being's head. Exar landed softly, and glanced at Helkem, raising one hand to direct the Force. "We have things to discuss." Cought in the power of the Dark side Helkem clawed at his neck as he was slowly raised from the floor. Exar's hand tightend into a fist and the Human's throught constricted even more. "Ready to talk?" Kun asked as the Human's eyes closed in pain. Unable to speak Helkem managed a nod, and Exar dropped him to the floor. "Who are you?" The Sith asked as Helkem sucked in air on his knees. "I am Studak, just a guard for Helkem..." The Human said. The Force surged around Exar, telling him of the lie. In a flash the blade of his lightsabre slashed through Helkem's shoulder. "Try again..." The Sith said. Helkem screamed in pain as he grabbed at his wound. "I....I am Helkem, I lead the up-rising on this planet." Helkem flinched in pain. Kun could sence the truth in his words. Exar smiled, "We will see.... “ Helkem looked up from his feeble postion an instant of peace in his eyes, he read his fate on Exar's face. “Strength over fear, I will tell you no more.” With his free hand Exar made an upward gesture, and the Human was lifted like a puppet. He hung helpless in the Force. "Nooooo......." Exar sliced laterally with his lightsabre. The blade chopped through the Human's neck. Cutting off his final wail. Part Four Exar stepped into the corridor of the building. He felt dark waves of the Force wash over his being. Glancing to his left Exar saw him. A dark man had his cowl up, and his lightsabre in hand. In the blink of an eye both Jedi ignited their weapons. Two crimson blades boiled to life, the angry red glow filled the hallway. "You killed him?" The other Jedi asked, standing sevreal meters down the corridor from Exar. "He is dead, and you are next..." Kun answerd. The figure winced with the pain of his loss. "Now I Bla'ir am the leader of the up-rising. The apprentices will see the destruction of the Vast Empire. The waypoint of the Force is stationed in the system, and it will destroy the Hatred that you bring to the Force. The Jensaari army will stop you all. We have killed your master, now I shall do the same to you!" With the final words the hood of the Jedi lowerd, revealing a Human male. Bla'ir raised his weapon and attacked with feirce determination. Two shimmering blades clashed in the corridor. Exar was impressed at the speed of his foe, Bla'ir attacked with blur's of strikes that cought Exar off balance. Parry, dodge, clash, Exar was being droven backwards. As he saw an over-head swing coming from his enemy he took his opertunity and leapt into the air. In a swooping motion Kun arached his back and spun around, sending both of his legs into the air. Crashing down on Bla'ir's shoulders with axe like power. The blow nearly knocked the lightsabre from Bla'ir's hands, but he managed to keep his grip on his metal hilt. Kun came around and leapt forward with another attack. As large as the corridor was it was diffucult to manuver in the intence combat. Exar relised that his only chance would be to press his attack, corner his foe, and strike him down there. Exar landed before the other dark warrior. He attacked viciously, blocking and thrusting. His radiant blade spinning a web of light around him. Kun bared his teeth, as his blade clashed against the other Jedi. Bla'ir leapt away from the barrage of attacks, he rolled in the air, and came down on one knee. Just as Exar prepared to attack again Bla'ir spun on the ground, snaping out his left heal and sending it under Exar's base foot. The Sith fell backwards to the floor. In a grunt of rage he arched his back, and snaped his body back to a standing postion, but when he looked he only saw the bottem of a turbolift heading for the roof. The turbolift jetted upwards and opened, revealing the black armored Exar Kun. He glared around on the roof, looking for his pray. There, he saw him standing next to the ledge. Kun walked from the turbolift, the wind blew hard on the rooftop. The black cape Exar wore danced freely in the gusts. Again the two blades hissed to life, the pale light from lightsabres played on the top of the building. Exar rusumed his attack, feinting left, and attacking high pressing Bla'ir back. Lunge, thrust, parry, guard the blades snapped and hissed as they clashed, than whisked apart. Exar swong over head, than spun on his heal sending a spinning hook kick slamming into Bla'ir's face. Bla'ir stumbled and again gave ground, slowly backing up. Kun could feel his opponet tireing, finally he could feel his superiority. Exar walked Bla'ir down reading his opponet, looking for the opertunity to delivor the final blow. He pushed his attack, high, low, left, right. His blade danced in fluid movments. Again he clashed with Bla'ir. The sabres burned against eachother as they glared into eachothers eyes. Kun's brows bent foreward, and his lips curled up. Revealing his yellowish teeth. Now! Ths Sith lord brought up a gloved hand, angleing it toward Bla'ir. The Force rippled in responce, pushing hard against Bla'ir's chest, sending Bla'ir tumbling backwards. Loosing his footing he plunged from the massive building a scream of rage echoed through the night as he fell into the inky black nothingness below. Exar quickly re-traced his steps back to his speeder, the hover-bike screamed through the streets as he raced through the city back to the Infiltrator. The Sith sprinted up the ramp and punched into the nav-computer the location of the Vast Empire's fleet. Time was of the essence, Exar had to report back to Kadann, and rally the rest of the Sith. With the grace of a watersnake the sleek ship approached the third moon of the third planet of the system. The moons grey sky and watery surface looked unpleasnt, and harsh. A worled known for it's gang hide outs, and criminal lodgeing. The perfect place to start a mission where one must aquire information. The Infiltrator touched down on the top level of an ancient building. The surface could have been strighter. Leaning severly to the left the Infiltrator almost rocked on the un-even area. Not one to waste time. Exar set the gun turrets for automatic fire. Any being that took a walk to close the the ship would find itself under random fire from hidden turrets all around the shuttle. Alittle precaution Exar liked to exercise. With his Cowel up, and his lightsabre tucked away under his tunic Exar took off to begin his mission. The idea of his quest was simple. Learn the location of the Jensaari (or whatever they were) and report back to the dark council. However the mission itself would take some serious methods of engagement. The thought of finding his enemy did not intimedate Exar. The Sith had there ways. Bribes, intimadation, logic, gut instinct, there own brillance. He would start with logic. Where would a Force sensitive go to inlist in the training of the "Jedi/dark Jedi/Jensaari" academy? Exar Kun enterd an imposing structure. It was no difficult challenge learning where to find a data-bank terminal. He approched a corner of the building and accessed a HoloNet search with a passowrd that Atrus had given him some years ago. It still worked. In moments Exar aquired the Com channel of a rumored recruiter for the Waypoint orginization. The Sith enterd the channel into his wrist com-unit. "This is Tores Noes." The raspy voice of a man came through. "Tores Noes, We have issues to discuss..." The meeting place was pre-determind by the Sith; a dingy old broken-down building at the back of a dark ally. Exar Kun stalked down the illuminated sky walk and turned to enter the structure. Inside was a small lobby, with a sleeping Rodion at the counter. The Sith looked at the green spices with irration, and with a slight gesture of his hand the being jumped awake. "Can-Can I help you sir?" The Rodion asked while wiping his eyes. "I am meeting with Tores Noes...." Exar explained. "Ahh.... Tores Noes" The Rodion said as it's body vibrated, witch was the equal to a human yawning. He shuffled through data-pads on the counter than looked up as he said, "Booth 6." As he approached booth 6 Exar tapped into dark ripples of the Force; scanning for life on the other side of a dura-steel door. One being, a human sat waiting on the other side, Exar lowerd his eye-brows and fingured the pad to the right of the entrace, the door hissed open and the Sith enterd. “Greetings Exar Kun, we meet at last, I would like to begain by saying…..” “Skip the formalities,” Exar interupted. “We have things to discuss you and I” Exar lowerd himself into a chair; glaring at Tores with two evil yellow eyes "Where can I find the location of the Waypoint of the Force?" "Well - to be prefectly honest I'm not premitted to give out that information. It's just my job to take a midi-clorian count, and see if your elegable to train for the Waypoint." Exar smiled, this man had all the infomation he needed. Time to retract alittle. The Sith brought up a gloved hand. "You will tell me where the Waypoint's main location is!" The man's eyes glossed over. But he did not answer. "Tell me now!" No answer. Exar looked at the man with anger. The man was dence, but not weak minded. Another way of presuation would need to be called for. A way only his Master could impliment. Exar drew a blaster off his hip and trained it on the man, just as the man was relizing what had happend. "Wait!" The man barked, but before he could stand blue loops of light jumped from Exar's blaster and enterd the man. The bolts of energy stunned the man, and he fell to the floor with a thud. "My Master will know how to make you see things our way, Lord Kadann has very effecint ways of dealing with enemies of the Empire. Also, this was meant to be a "team" story and not just about one individual} As Exar Kun began dragging the human he suddenly felt a ripple through the force. Quickly dropping the human he turned around and drew his lightsaber. "Whoever you are just come out so I can deal with you too." A distinct laughter rang throughout the entire room as a being stepped out in front of Exar Kun. Exar hadn't known fear for a very long time, ever since the beginning of his training when he met Master Majere and his Massassi Guards. Since that encounter he learned how to use fear to its fullest. However, what stood before Exar turned him deathly white. The being that stood before him was wrapped in ancient rags that seemed to drop off of it in clumps of dust. The face was mummified into a horrific scene of a gruesome death. The arms were bent at an odd angle, holding two lightsabers. Its voice was scratchy, full of the force induced fear, "Exar, you weaken the name. Atrus..Nix..Hexum is only the beginning. Now you shall serve me...or die." Exar stepped back and tried with all his might not to succumb to the fear. Closing his eyes and using a meditation trick he learned long ago he spoke with conviction, "No, I serve the Dark Council." A piece the mummified being's body fell to the ground as it used the force to toss Exar against the wall like a piece of gnarled paper. Exar winced in pain as he quickly got up and attacked with his lightsaber. The mummy parried with a laugh that sent chills down Exars spine. Exar knew that he was beaten, so he scanned the area through the force on the best escape route. He found dozen's of guards just outside. Luckily they were not like whatever he was fighting now. Suddenly Exar was brought back to attention as he felt the burning of a lightsaber going through the right side of his chest. Exar screamed in pain as he fell backwards and against the door. The mummy knelt down and touched the blood strewn all over the floor. As it put the blood against its gnarled lips Exar could hear the faint moan of ecstacy. Exar used all of his remaining energy and he used speed to run as fast as he could. Exar knew full well that he could not return to his ship. So he kept running until he found an abandoned house. Forcing his way in, Exar collapsed in a deep healing trance. ......... Days later ......... Lord Kadann and Master Majere stood before the rest of team two. Most of the jedi were stairing at the newest member of the Dark Jedi Order, Adalric Majere. Until this point in time they didn't even know that Caramon Majere had a brother, much less one that rivaled him. He was much younger with similar features. Unlike Majere where hate ruled his life, pain ruled Adalrics. They knew he lost something, but dared not to ask what. Adalric stood there expressionless and they already knew that he only spoke to who he considered equal. So far, he considered nobody an equal with the exception of Kadann. The others, he spoke to them only through the force. Their attention was quickly brought back to Lord Kadann as he spoke up, "You will follow Exar Kun to Ord Mantel. Spies tell me he was doing very well until something attacked and almost killed him. It took all of Exar's strength to run away. One of you will go to Exar and heal him out of his deep healing trance. We must know what we are up against. Once that happens I will either come myself or Master Majere will come to deal with whatever attacked Exar. The rest of you are to finish Exar's job and keep an eye out for this being. If Exar dies from his wounds, we still must figure out what happened and deal with it. Do not encounter this being without one of us with you. Do I make myself clear?" The Dark Jedi nodded and quickly left the room. Lord Kadann turned to Master Majere. After a number of minutes stairing at each other they nodded in unison and left in their own directions. His sight was failing him, his vision clouded, and fogged. His body was wet, saturated with sweat, and blood. His arms trembled. Since he could not trust his other sences, Exar focused on the pain. It told him he was alive. A white hot pain vibrated through his being, begining at his chest. Exar followed the length of the wound with the Force. Using dark ripples like fingures. It began at his upper left shoulder, and snaked it's way to the lower right side of his chest. The wound festerd. A blinding pain. Exar was too weak to forage for food. The days blurred. The kid followed him through large metel doors, and down sevral long corridors. Untill finally they came to a stop. There the kid was transferd to a dark man, with a long black robe. The Cowel on his robe was up, hiding his face from the light. Only his slender lips, and his pale chin was visable. "Welcome young one..." He said with an evil voice, almost a mocking tone. "Follow me." The man led the kid through a maze of corridors, finally stopping at two very large metal doors. "Keep your head down, and your mouth quiet. Master Majere does not tolerate disrespect." The doors hissed open and all at once the kid took in the room with horrer. Five huge, reddish monsters. All severly mutated, long strains of drool snaked strainds of slime down the bodies of the monsters. Standing in the center of the beings was a man who seemed to attract darkness. A constant shadow loomed over the man. His cowel up and his head angled to the floor the man rang out in a powerful yet quiet voice. "Enter young one..." The kid took a deep breath and clenched his fists, to sustain the trembeling. All at once the reason he was there seemed like a very bad idea. His face wincing with fear the kid made an uncertian step forward. The reddish monsters made snapping noises with their clenched teeth, spraying drool with angry quick head motions. The kid pulled his foot back, he couldnt do it, they would attack, they would kill him. All at once he felt his body jerked forward. What had happend, he hadnt moved? Before he knew it the kid was kneeling infront of the shadowy man. His body trembeling uncontrolably. "I asked you to do somthing... you will learn to obey you insobordinate fool." Along with anger the kid senced amusment in the man's words. The man grabbed the kid's chin, and pulled it up. For the first time they saw eye to eye. The kid froze. This was Master Majere, the one he had come to see, the kid was sure of it. Majere glared at the kid, two evil eyes looked through the timid form of a 12 year old child. "Are you afraid?" Majere asked in a icy whisper. The kid's breath quickend, he opend his mouth but no words came out. Again he took a deep breath and tryed again, "N-No sir," "You lie... and you are cocky, that may get you hurt one day, or maybe even killed." Majere glared hard at the kid, "Your name is Solois, Correct? Solois Hallamere?" The kid managed a nod. "You will from this time on be Known as Exar Kun. Starting now you are being born into a new life, a new order. Today begins the rest of your life, a life of service, and eventual power. Always remember this Exar, you best serve yourself be serving me. Fear leads to anger, and anger leads to power. Feed off the power of your fear, feed of the dark side Exar. Now shall we begin your training?" Exar jerked awake. The flashback had been so real, so clear. He could remember everything, the smell, the temprature of the air, the fear. The fear was still very real. Exar had never known fear like it since. But fear was always a lingering truth that the Sith faced everyday. His life had been lived in fear. If that was the case than why had he been paralyzed with fear during his battle with the...thing? Exar attempted to sit up but the burning pain in his chest stoped him. He was healing, but the prosess was taking too long. Ready or not, in three days Exar would somehow make his way back to his star ship. All he could do untill than was exactly what his master had taught him. "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to power. I will find that power." Exar mumbled to himself. Pushing his fatiuge aside He fingerd the control pannel on the uppest level door nd the extreamly neglected passage way slowly slid open. Out side sky cars streamd through the skys, traffic lines of all kinds, vertical, horizantal, diaganil. Exar slowly walked to the edge of the building and singled an air taxi. The Taxi pilot - a Quarren - looked somwhat nervously at his passanger as Exar slid into the backseat, but said nothing as he was given the address. The Taxi rose rapidly up through two lanes of traffic, it's repulsors humming, than weered north in a long arc toward the outskirts of the city. After sevral quick minutes in the cool Taxi, the sky-car came to a hault and the Qurren looked dubiously back at Exar. Exar pushed his body to the limit as he climbed sevral long corridors of stairs, untill finally breaking the seal on the highest door, and walking out to see his ship. The Infiltrator stood in it's spot, untouched. Four dead bodies of Rodions layed around it, they chose the wrong transport to boost. With sevral beeps of his wrist remote the Infiltrators defences were lowerd along with the boarding ramp. Almost crawling Exar manged his way into the piolt's chair. He pressed his hand to a sensor plate on the console before him, and the hemispheric chamber filled with various beebs, and hums. After a quick chat with a lowly officer aboard the M/SSD Atrus, Exar learned the transmission frequncy for team two's shuttle. Witch appeard to have enterd the planets atmosphere sevral hours ago. ------- Team 2: arrival location ----- Athran opened his eyes and stared at his fellow dark jedi encircling Exar and greeting him.  Athran was tired, from the journey after a long stressful week of being the Prefect and it was a welcomed change to him, to once, listen instead of command.  Something that he seldom did, but must once again learn to do to grow stronger in the force and in himself.  He paced over to the group after regaining himself from his meditation…. “Ahh… Athran, good to see you have come around to joining us,” said Trigit with a smirk. “I try,” said Athran a red glare showing in his eyes. “Well it’s time to start gathering our information, take what you need and do what you do best as Dark Jedi, remember standing orders are to not attack or confront what attacked Exar,” Trigit commanded ready to get under way.  “You can go solo or team up with someone if preferred, just do not alert the security on this planet to our presence if possible.  It’ll be much easier to get this done without a ton of security guards to kill,” Trigit said sarcastically. Athran pulled his hood over his head and chaotic mind.  He knew not where to start, but that something was beckoning to him, calling him in strange voices that were sadistic and yet luring, enticing him.  He lurched farther trying to focus on the task at hand, but still he was not conscious of what was around him.  He strode through the dark alleys, searching his mind, and focusing his hate.  He was unaware of the helpless beggars along the alleyways, he was unaware of the fights being settled in the street, and he was also unaware of the hooded figures that had recently began following him.    “Where should I start?” Athran asked himself. He saw a drunken man walk out of a nearby pub, stumbling down the stairs, the drunk fell down and made himself comfortable in his usual sleeping place, the bottle of what he was drinking still tightly pressed to his chest.    ”Gotta start somewhere, right?” Athran muttered aloud.  He walked across the ill-light street, scanning around him for anything that would catch his eye.  He saw nothing but shadows and the illegal trades in them.  This would be a very good spot to begin his search indeed.  He walked in and sat at the bar, scanning the area for anybody that seemed to give off a force aura…. ------  Unknown Alley ------ “What should we do?” question a dreary and somber Tores Nores. “Now you have done it!  We have six of the VE’s Dark Jedi on our planet and after us!” said a trembling voice from the darkness.  “Do not worry about the dark jedi, they will be handled, personally,” said a low deep horrifying voice.  “The destruction of the VEDJ will continue, as planned.  And since you both seem to be so helpless, I have arranged some protection of my own creation.” “Thhh…. Thhhan… Thank you,” replied Tores Nores and the trembling voice in unison staring at the hideous figures appearing from where the voice originated. “Begone!” thundered the low voice, sending chills through the spines of the two others. -------  Alleyway outside of Spaceport --------- ”Anything new yet?”  Trigit telepathically asked his fellow jedi.  Each replied with a quick no.  Even though TJ and Exar were both being followed, neither acknowledged it in case their ‘tale’ would disappear. . .

Tylen walked with a confused look on his face.  He wasn't sure what was going on, nor what they were all looking for.  He knew they were after Dark Jedi but as he knew with his last battle with a dark jedi, depeding on their power, they can take on many shapes and sizes.  Walking behind trigit, he could sense Trigit's immense amount of concentration, trying to reach out to the force to give him answers.  "Tylen...don't concentrate on me, this is a skill that is coming farily easy to you however you haven't tried it on other dark jedi before.  Reach out to the force and try locating and force sensitive creatures and humans.  Gather your anger, it gives you strength and can help you channel the force and make it seem more clear." Tylen kept his silence and just noded.  His lightsaber his against his side as he walked, surely not the right size for him.  The only thing he could think about is finishing his lightsabers and the images still burned in his head of Atrus's Funeral.  He shook his head, pushing them aside and tried to concentrate on his surrounding looking for his objective...

TJ crept down the alleyway alongside Exar, searching for anything....any kind of clue that they weren't alone on and the one that they were looking for was there. Deep inside, TJ suddenly hoped that they were indeed alone and that the jedi had disapeared forever. He knew he couldn't think like that as he pushed the thought out of his head. Once again Trigit asked them telepathicly "Anything yet?" and once again the duo responded negaive. Even though, they knew they were being followed. Until, they could find some information on their follower, they were going to try not to draw attention to him or her. Stepping over some long, broken wires, TJ noticed three lights up ahead, to his left. Looking around, he slipped up next to them TJ examined them and decided they were for some sort of door, though he couldn't see any. He began an attempt to disengage them. If it was unsuccessful, he figured it would still draw the follower to pass through the wires to see what he was doing. Suddenly, TJ heard a "snap hiss" from around the corner...moving his 'sabre into his hand, TJ prepared o round the corner.....   ----------------------- Tactical Officer Colonel TJ TO/COL TJ/HC-5//VE{CDSx2}{ES}{CM GW}{LoCx7}{MSM}[IOC] Squadron Commander Captain PJ CMDR/CPT PJ/Viper 1-1/Wing I/m/SSD Atrus//VE (=A=){SVx2}{VC-Silver Trim}{NDM}{SoV}[BRC][IOC] WA/SG TJ//VEDJ

------ Team 2: Cantina ----- Athran climbed into a bar stool and ordered a drink.  Glancing around him, he noticed a few of what he thought were bar regulars and a few people that were obviously from out of town.  Trying to blend in, he made conversation with the woman sitting next to him.  “You from around here?” asked the woman. “No, I’m from out of town,” Athran replied.  “Figures.  How long you in town for?” questioned the woman. “Not sure, depends on how my current mission turns out,” replied Athran. “Army buff, eh?”  replied the woman.  “Not exactly,” replied Athran a red glare showing in his eyes as he left the cantina.    Athran obtained the information he wanted in the cantina.  In the back of the cantina a few of the bar regulars were talking about a rumor of a Dark Jedi and a few of the local crime bosses roughing him up.  Although, it was not the crime bosses that roughed up the Dark Jedi, he got the names of the crime bosses and decided he would have to pay them a short visit.  Athran casually found his way about the back alleys and streets with ease.  He did not concern himself with the ‘tale’ that was following him.  He figured eventually, whatever it was, would slip up, and then he would have the information he needed.  He just had to be patient, something he did not do very well, but he tried his hardest.  ------- High Rollers Casino Lounge ------ “Ahhh… now this is living,” said a confident Tores Nores. He motioned for his men to go cash in some of the chips he had won.  Oblivious to anything around him he sat back and stared at the dancers in the center of the luxurious hall.  Not a care in the world on his mind, especially not the VEDJ with the protection of the massassi warrior that the unknown figure had produced for him.  “Hmmm… I wonder where that thing went to,” thought Tores Nores to himself.  “Ahh well…. I have a feeling it’s around,” he said to himself as he threw the dice once again.    ------- Crime Lord’s pad ------- Athran sat watching the drug deal go down.  Waiting for his opportunity to strike, awaiting the smell of singed and burnt flesh, and awaiting taking his time with these ‘crime lords,’ to show them what the dark side was all about.  He had lost the ‘tale’ that was following him, but figured not for long.  He had to get some information, and quickly, before the tale showed up so he would not have to fight whatever it was and the crime lords at once.  There were 6 speeders, encircling the 10 crime lords and their boss.  The ill lit garage had only one light, shining towards the group and away from Athran.  It was the perfect opportunity, he would force jump into the center of the group with his saber lit and take pleasure in their torture.  He gripped his light saber, his thumb milliseconds away from igniting his saber.  He heard a sound from behind him. . . he stopped and scanned the area.  It was his tale, he would unfortunately have to do this all at once. . .

(OOC: jump in anytime guys ) ------  Garage ------ Athran prepared himself to attack.  He concentrated, not moving a muscle.  In his mind he worked out how to take out each one as quickly as possible, as painfully as possible.  The ten and there boss where still exchanging words and the tale was still in the garage…. somewhere Athran, silently forced jumped into the air, he heard the familiar hiss as he pushed the activation button on his lightsaber.  He sliced the one light in the garage in half.  The garage went to total darkness, except for the illuminating glow of Athran’s red saber.  He landed in the middle of the mass of guns and vibroknives aimed towards him.  “Who the hell are you?” shouted the man flanking him. Athran had no reply, he stood there, his saber held directly in front of him.  Revealing his    eyes which were now as a burning crimson coal.  His hate enveloped him, he was one with the Dark Side, he had no compassion, no hesitation, no second thoughts.  As lightning he swung his saber at the man who shouted, it sliced through his collar and his neck.  His head landed back upon his body, as if nothing had happened.  A blaze of shots were fired to the center of the circle.  They did not stop, they relentlessly pulled the triggers of their blasters, they were to petrified to do anything but.  After the firing ceased, the men cluttered the ground, body parts lay upon each other as leaves in the fall.  A few were left alive, who of which Athran tried to keep alive to get the information he needed. “Who would want business with dark jedi?” Athran interrogated the three men left over. ”WHO!” shouted Athran his eyes burning as he held back ripping apart each of the men left alive.  He took out his saber, wielding it through the air, he brought it down, vertically, through one of the men.  He stood over the next.  The man’s eyes were frozen, unable to move, unable to blink, as Athran sliced the second man, he screamed, he screamed of pain that he had never known.  Athran approached the third and last man, he began to speak…. “To… toorr…  Tores Nores,” muttered the man as he struggled to stay alive.  Startled, Athran looked up, a door in the back creaked open and closed.  He used the force, searching, he found nothing, his tale had left.  But Why?  Athran left the garage set out to find some of his fellow brethren, some of his fellow blood.

----  Alley Ways  ---- "I've found some information," Athran relayed telepathically. Athran ran through the alley ways, retracing his steps to the garage he found himself at.  Like the wind, Athran ran through the alleys, as quickly as possible he had to get to his team, he had to let them know what he found out.  But where were they? "What is it?" Trigit replied a minute later. "Tores Nores," Athran replied. ----  Alley  ---- Athran sat concentrating, interpreting the whole situation, and who in the world Tores Nores was.  What did he have to do with this?  What did he have against the VEDJ?  "I have a name, that it all," Athran said to himself.  "Tores Nores.  How does he work into the Dark Jedi and Atrus?" Athran stood up, and started walking, absorbing the atmosphere, the people, the planet, the dark side.  Using every bit of knowledge he had, he still had nothing to go on.  "I guess I'm back at square one," Athran said to himself. He walked, and walked, not noticing or feeling his tale was around.  "Why did my tale leave?  Time to do a little taling of my my own" Athran mumbled.

Two crimson blades hissed to life. The pale red light of the energy weapons was met by another spectrom of the rainbow as TJ and Exar Kun lept around the corner of a larger than avrage building. Their foe - a Bothan - held two green light sabres loosly in his hairy palms. His casualy fit black and brown tunic was unmistakeably the garmets of a Jedi. "do yourself a favor, deactivate those weapons and give up - it would make all of our lives much eaiser." Exar said, almost impatiently. The Bothan made no reply, his only responce was the curling back of his lips, impossible to tell if he was scoweling, or smiling. A mouth full of yellow teeth were bared as the Bothan raised two weapons. 'That's our que.' Exar transmitted to TJ via the Force. 'I'll cover you as you flank him, take him out quick, but try and keep him alive - we need info.' The hum of four blades filled the alley. Exar charged the Bothan with a feirce combination of strikes, as TJ jumped into the air and effortlessly sumersaulted behind his enemy. Exar couldnt help but admire TJ's abilties, his dark brother had well masterd the ways of a lightsabre. The three men battled, TJ coming relentlessly from behind, Exar prusing and exploiting any oppurtunites from the front. The Bothan fought hard, and well, but was no match for the duo of Jedi. Soon Exar and TJ could both feel the Bothan begin to weakon, but there was somthing in his foe's eyes that worried Exar. The Bothan had no emotion. No peace, no hate. No Fear, no control. Definitly not the traits of any Jedi Exar had every seen. The Bothan was not in his right mind. Without warning Exar saw the red glare of TJ's blade slash at the Bothan's right arm. Without missing a beat Exar took the left, detatching it from the owner's body. The Bothan kneeled in pain. A scream of rage and agony. With his still attatched but severly damaged arm the Bothan managed to diactivate his weapon, turn it on himself, and thumbed the control. With a snap his the angry green blade boiled through his chest. With a thud the Bothan fell into a bloody pool on the alley floor. TJ and Exar exchanged glances, a pity that their enemy had taken his own life. It would cost them time, and he could have had vital information. But in there dark hearts they knew that if the postions were reversed, they would have done the same. Exar kneeled by the hairy, bloody remains of the Bothan as TJ kept watch for any witnesses. With a twinge on his face Exar proceeded to search the Bothan's pockets. A few credits, a time peice, and a piece of paper. Exar unfolded the paper and read the scribbled words 'HIGH ROLLERS CASINO LOUNGE'  Just as Exar looked up to TJ they both picked up on Athran, he also had found somthing. "Let's go, I'll explain on the way." Exar barked as he rose from his spot, and begain a sprint to Athran's location.

Athran...still looking for the rest of the group.  He could sense Trigit and a few others close by.  He ignited his blade once again, and turned the corner.  Trigit was there, fighting with another Dark Jedi.  He ran down the alley of two 5 story buildings, evading garbage cans and slicing any obstacles that got in his way.  He could see ahead that there were more then just one fighting, where or not it was friend or foe he was not sure.  He could sense Tylen close by but could not see them…He continued down the alley, saber blazing.  He slowly came to a stop, an unease in the force, of something letting go.  He took a slow step forward.  He could start to hear a low falling scream, then a crash about 15 feet behind him.  He looked over his shoulder, and seen Tylen trying to scrape him self off of the ground and off the piles of garbage.  Athran silently laughing to himself looked up above to the top of the building to see a smaller Dark Jedi, about Tylen size looking down at them both.  The Dark Jedi collapsed his saber and fell back into the shadow of the building.  "Damnit..." Tylen said as he stood up and looked over at Athran.  “Go help Trigit, this one is mine.”  He ignited his saber and jumped to the top of the building after the Dark Jedi… Athran let out a small chuckle and took off after Trigit and the other Dark Jedi...   ----------------------- Journeyman Tylen Jaap CM/DJK Tylen Jaap/Elite Griffen Sect/VSD-II Griffen/VEDJ/VE [VP] ETRP/SMJR Tylen Jaap/1SQD/1PLT/1COM/1BAT/1RGT/VEA/VE

Exar and TJ rounded the corner just in time to see Athran sprint off in the distance, and what appeared to be Taylen take off on top of a near building. The duo followed Athran, rounding three more corners in the labranth of buildings and alleys. Just as they cleared the forth they cought site of what looked like a battle between Trigit, and two other dark men. Athran was in mid jump, his blade hissing to life as he landed and engaged the second man. Exar and TJ exchanged a smile and togather charged into battle there lightsabres screaming to life in a hiss of furious crimson. The four VEDJ battled in beautiful unison. When one would begin to tire, the other would leap in and cover. The blades whirled and spun. Slamming togather in a flash of sparks and a blast of force. Now that Exar was near he could identify the two Jedi they battled as one Human, and one Rodion. There defeat was inevitable, and clear. Although it was known to all the warriors engaged in the battle. The enemies of the Vast Empire held there ground. Obviously not afraid to die. Just as the Rodion batted away three strikes. (Two from Trigit's double bladed light staff, and one from Exar's weapon) His stomach was slashed by a forth strike that came from Athran. As the green being fell he summond his remaining connection of the Force and violently pushed all four of the Vast Empire Dark Jedi back. As he did so the Human took off in a blur, leaping to a roof of the near building and disapperd. Five blades of diffrent colors powerd down one after another. The battle was over as soon as it begain, another dark Jedi lay dead in the alley. "What is this about?" TJ asked as he returned his lightsabre to his belt. Trigit nodded toward the fallen Rodion and responded. "He attacked me just before the human, he was taleing me for awhile, that's all I know." As they spoke Exar kneeled next to the Rodion, the green body was still and lifeless. Kun pulled open the beings tunic and tucked his hand into the breast pocket. "What is it?" Athran asked. "Just a minute, if he has what I think he has - than we would be on to somthing here." Exar pulled out a piece of paper and unfolded it. "Perfect, the 'High Rollers Casino' Just like the one from a Bothan TJ and I just destroyed. They must have some kind of head quarters there." "Or maybe a meeting of somekind..." Trigit added. "Than we're going there?" TJ asked sure of the answer. "Yes," Trigit finalized. "We are going to the 'High Rollers Casino'."

----  Alley Ways outside of Casino  ---- The Vast Empire’s elite crept through the shadows and the alleyways, making their way to the High Roller’s Casino, unnoticed.  They snuck into an adjacent apartment building and made themselves comfortable to monitor who was going in and out of the Casino and what floors were security and what floors were opened to the gamblers.  “It seems that we’ll have to divide up into two teams.  One will go in from the top, the second will go in through the sewer and work their way up,” Trigit announced.  “Athran and Exar will go in through the top of the building.  TJ, Tylen, and I will go in through the sewers.  Your primarily goal here is to gather information without being noticed, we do not want to be recognized!  Make sure that you are not!”  Trigit commanded.  ----  Adjacent Building  ---- “How do you want to go about doing this Exar?”  Athran asked. “Well, we can either climb up the side of the Casino, or it looks like we could take the easy way and force jump from the capital building behind it,” Exar replied. “I’ll take the easy way,” Athran replied. Exar quickly embarked on their journey, who was quickly followed by Athran, to the capital building which was a hundred yards behind the Casino.  Approaching the massive doors to the awe inspiring capital building, the two dark jedi were approached by guards. With a wave of his hand Exar quickly had the guards saying, “Go ahead, you are clear to enter.”  ----  Inside the Capital Building  ---- ”Well that was easy,” Athran said to Exar telepathically. Exar looked back with a grin and walked into the elevators.  They went to the highest floor possible, and set off from there.  “We are on the 250th floor, we should only have a few more to climb,” Exar said. They approached the stairs, where a camera watched near by.  A guard quickly arrived and tried to stop the two Jedi’s but was unsuccessful.  After a few minutes with Athran and Exar he quickly exited through the window without hesitation.  The two jedi proceeded up the stairs…. The breeze struck them hard and fierce.  They were nearly blown off the building in a matter of seconds.  After regaining their composure, the two jedi positioned themselves and then found the Casino.  They looked across to the Casino, noticing how far of a fall it would be if they messed up their jump.  Exar burst into a sprint and in seconds was flying through the air as if he was a speeder.  Athran was next, he stood concentrating, making sure he was in touch with the force and was ready for this jump.  He ran… then jumped… he flew through the air with ease.  Suddenly a gust of wind, blew Athran off course, he came crashing through the top story window… “Athran!” Exar screamed.  Exar lit his saber and cut a whole in the top of the building.  He searched with the force, finding Athran who was injured but not badly.  He would just need a few seconds to recuperate.  ”You feel that?” asked Exar. ”Yes, I haven’t felt this was since fighting massassi warriors with Paan and Talon…” Athran stood in a deep trance trying to heal himself from the fall.

The two Dark Jedi raced over the tops of the buildings.  Their images a blur from their speed.  Tylen was catching up quickly, his powers were clearly greater then what this "kid" possesed.  Tylen leaped over the head of the Dark Jedi onto the next building, and ignited his lightsaber. The other young jedi lept from the previous building, igniting his saber.  Tylen positioned himselfs close to where he thought the DJ would land.  As he landed the two sabers clashed together and the small battle begun. The young DJ threw a few shots that Tylen easily blocked and counter attacked with.  He even tried to throw some supprise attacks going for Tylen's legs which was a big mistake.  Tylen jumped into the air, over 20 feet and came down on the Jedi taking off his left arm, dropping the young one to the floor.  Tylen wipped the blood off of his face, his eyes still their usual blood red color. The young one screamed with pain, and looking up at Tyeln with fear in his eyes.  Tylen picked up the young jedi's saber and turned it on so it was just under the DJ's chin.  "Why are you running from me?"  Tylen asked while trying to probe his mind for information...not finding much. "I..I..I.." clearly out of breath and at a loss for words. "Tell me!" Tylen being more demanding.  He put the saber tip above the DJ's knee cap and started burning a small hole into his flesh.  He screamed again. "Tores Nores!..." he replied as the Tylen saber dug deeper into his flesh. "What about him!" Tylen replied. "No...not him...Its not a person..." "Then what is it, alien?" Tylen took the saber back to they guys chin, and treatened to run him threw. "No...its the code that we use.  I don't know much about it, but rumor has it that it will be used to stage attacks.  Its only used by the our magistrate, and the orders are relayed down to our commanders."  The DJ said clearing his throat. "Attacks on who?"  Tylen replied bringing the saber in closer "I don't know, they keep it safely guarded." "Wrong answer..."  With that Tylen thrust his saber forward. And the body lay motionless with a hole in his neck, and tossed the saber off the side of the building. Tylen took a deep breath, and attached his saber to his belt.  "At least I got a little out of him that might be useful"  Tylen jumped off the top of the building to the floors below and made his way to the 'High Rollers Casino' to meet up with the others...   ----------------------- Journeyman Tylen Jaap CM/DJK Tylen Jaap/Elite Griffen Sect/VSD-II Griffen/VEDJ/VE [VP] ETRP/SMJR Tylen Jaap/1SQD/1PLT/1COM/1BAT/1RGT/VEA/VE

Exar admired Athran. His dedication to the dark arts was unquestionable, his skill was unapproachable. Rarely did Exar encounter the type of Jedi that could focus so unshakably, and blindly, even when the presence of a strong evil was so strong it could be tasted. The dark Lord of the Krath kneeled on the floor of the abondandond top floor on the High Rollars Casino. Athran tapped into the Force as he had done so many times. Reaching out to the dark waves that washed over his being sence he had given himself to the dark side. Exar kneeled next to his dark brother, and placed a gloved hand on his shoulder. The two dark Lords summond the Force into them, Exar pushing what he could into Athran. Within moments Athran's wounds closed lag a bag being sinched closed. Togather they jerked awake instantly knowing where they were. In one movment they rose and exchanged a nod. "Ready?" Exar asked. Without a word Athran nodded and begain walking toward the door. Exar and Athran came to the first hallway of the building. 'Let's split up to explore these floors, most of them should be empty, but we cannot over look anything...keep your guard up.' Athran explained telepathicly. Exar nodded. 'See if you can locate a holonet system somehow, and go over the structural blueprints of this building. I'll begin searching the floors. I'll meet you on 350 in two hours.' Exar voiced his thoughts telepathicly, and was confirmed by a nod. The two Lords pulled up the cowls of there robes and took off into the black upperlevels of the building. Exar Kun melded with the darkness, he became a dark shade among the shadows, a ghost in the lingering blackness of the upper building. Artificial lights were few and far between. Floor after floor Exar climbed down flights of stairs, searching room after room of emptyness, untill finally on the 379th floor the first signs of habbitants were displayed by the lumbering cantina music in the distance. Exar followed the floating sound untill he came to a broken down tiny bar. "STATE YO R BU INE S" The sign above the door read. Exar could only imagine that the missing letters had been shot off by stray blaster fire, or intentional vandolism. As Exar slipped into the rathole, he moved quickly to the darkest corner. When a weak minded being would idly glance in his direction Exar would redirect the interest, making himself effectivley invisable. Kun approached the bar. The bartender stood polishing a glass with a diry rag. A Quarran the bar tenterd's squid like head cast a glance at the shadowy character that stood before him. Exar leaned over the bar and spoke in a hushed voice, "I'm looking for information on the name 'Tores Nores'." The Qurran shook his head, "Much information comes through here. People come, they drink, talk, and go. I don't remember all the conversations." Exar glanced to his left and his right than grabbed the Quarran by the throught, "Recall harder, Tores Nores it must pull up some faces, or memoris." Just as he begain to squeeze a hand reached up and grabbed Exar's arm. Kun looked to his left where the owner sat, his right arm reaching for his lightsabre. "I know that name, Tores Nores, everyone's been talking about that in this dingy casino." Exar relesed the Qurran and turned to the man. "What have you heard?" "Well, firstly...I lost a lot of credits tonight on a game of Sabacc..." Kun rolled his eyes and pulled out a stack of credits, setting it on the counter infront of him. The man reached for the pile of credits, but just before his fingures touched the prize Exar pulled it back. "Tores Nores please..." "Well all I really know about the group is that they have there fingures in everything as far as this casino goes. They have all these dark police type people with strange glowy tube things that they wave around whenever somthing heats up, and I mean these guys are EVERYWHERE. The only way anyone gets in or out of this casino is because those police people let them, they treat this place like a fortress...." Exar turned on his stool to exit. He had to get back to Athran. The Sith made a fluid exit from the cantina and ran up a hall way. Just as he turned the corner he was greeted by four lightsabres bursting into life. Blue, yellow, green, and purple. The blades hummed through the air. 'Exar Kun, We've been expecting you, but where is your friend I wonder?" The owner of one of the colors mused. Just as he finished his sentence Athran's crimson blade boiled to life behind the group.

Exar lit his lightsabre as the first of many attacks came.he angled his blade low, deflecting a sweeping attack set to take one of his legs from his body. With a flash of light the attack bounced off, and another one came. Exar was pushed back - two attacked him, and he imagined two attacked Athran who was on the oppisite side of the battle. Ducking a slash Exar made his first attempt at an attack, swinging his blade like a axe chopping wood. The powerful blow knocked one of his attackers off balance long enough for Exar to summon the Force around himself and leap through the air, landing with a soft pat on the floor next to Athran. 'We need more room to battle if we are to stand a chance, we must lure them into a bigger corridor, or banquat hall.' Athran advised telepathicly. In unison the two dark Jedi spun a wave of attacks at threre enemy, gaining pressuce ground, than in a flash they turned and raced down the narrow hallway they had been engaged in. As the dark Lords raced they debated over the battle stratgy that would come ahead, 'We must fight back to back, and stay tight...only if we cover each other can we hold them off.' Exar insisted. Athran agreed with a nod, ' If we can battle near a wall they can't flank us, it will be one less base to cover.' 'Sounds good," Exar responded. After sevral more turns they broke into a titanic banquat hall. The red floor, glanceing up they noticed the huge skylight of gpainted glass that swept across the ceiling. When the looked down they cought sight of all four jedi entering the room slowly.

Tylen made is way through the streets of the city.  Trying to stay hidden, making his way to the casino to help his fellow Jedi.  At the base of the giant tower, Tylen peered up and felt for connections in the force and connection with the rest of the group.  He made his way around the building searching for an enterance into the sewer systems, to meet up with TJ and Trigit.  He stopped and looked up again, feeling unease.  Through all the sounds on the street, he could faintly hear the familiar sounds of Athran and Exar Kun talking to him. "Tylen...we need your help.  We are trapped in a banquet hall on the south side, with 4 other Dark Jedi." "Where is Trigit and TJ?..." Tylen replied "We aren't sure...they aren't responding...hurry up..." Tylen made his way over to the south side of the building, and tried to determine which floor they were located on.  He could see about half way up there was a platform.  "Well its easier then taking the stairs,"  he thought to himself. In the many background noises from the people on the street he hear something that caught his attention.  There was a man standing next to an air taxi. "Air Taxi!...30 ingots...to the 'High Rollers Casino Overlook'"  The man yelled out into the crowd. "Hmm..." Tylen thought to himself.  "This could be an easier and quicker way up and I wouldn't be seen." Tylen waited for the air taxi to fill up with its last round of passangers.  Upon lift off Tylen ran forward out of hiding and force jumped into the air, grabbing hold of the undercarrage of the taxi. The taxi made its way in a circular motion around the building, making its journey to the top of the building.  Tylen in turn was trying to picture the overall view of the building, to know when the taxi would cross over the platform. A few minutes later, he looked over at the building and could see the platform with stained glass window covering it coming around the corner to the south.  As it approched he loosened his grip, and hung himself  from the attached cables.  Looking down from the ground he could tell he was several hundered stories up,  missing this jump would be disasterous. The taxi rounded the corner and flew over the top of the platform.  Tylen pulled himself together and let go.  He fell several feet down, and hit the metal flooring below, and rolled.  He stood up and looked up at the Air taxi.  He could see several flashes of light aimed at him.  Obviously taking pictures.  "Well you can't win them all", he thought to himself. He made his way over the the stained glass ceiling and peered down into the room.  As he had suspected the six jedi were battling it out.  He spoke to them... "Athran, Exar... I'm here on the roof.  Lure them closer to my position and I'll drop in....

----  Banquet Room  ---- The four jedi entered, warily, waving their sabers around to appear ready for a battle.  Exar and Athran powered down their sabers and stood, watching every move the four unknown jedi made, tracking their swinging patterns, observing their weaknesses, preparing to strike them down.  ”Wait for our signal Tylen,” commanded Exar a look of pure hatred beginning to glow in his eyes.  Exar sat, concentrating, waiting for the moment to soar down upon his prey as an eagle does.  Athran also waited for the perfect time to strike, every moment the unsuspecting jedi grew more confident, Athran grew further stronger, ready to ambush the jedi as a lion fiercely attacks its weak prey.  Exar looked over and with a nod his eyes became as a coal in a fire, brought to life by the littlest spark and ready to burn anything in its path.  Exar brought his saber to life and charged towards the four jedis, terrified by the Dark Lord of the Sith imminently about to strike them to nothing, the jedi jumped out of his way and quickly encircled him, the jedi forgetting about Athran.  “Now we will show YOU who is the superior jedi,” hissed one of the jedi. Exar stood, anticipating the pleasure he would derive from the demise of these worthless jedi.  The encirclement started to close, and still Exar did not move, fearless he stood, powered by the dark side of the force.  One jedi charged, kicking with such force that it collapsed his chest; Exar quickly put him out of the picture.  The three jedi looked over, seeing their fallen comrade they all charged, out of anger, out of hate.  Exar grew stronger, the hate they exhibited only made him stronger, more in touch with the darkest part of his soul.  He force jumped and swung his saber with such a precise manner that it removed the second jedi’s head.  He smiled, landing in front of the headless body.  He force pulled the headless jedi’s saber to him and swirled the two sabers through the air.  His eyes grew brighter, his power even stronger, his hate like no other these jedis had ever felt.  Four more jedis entered the room.  They all encircled Exar, noticing the headless body he stood over.  With that Athran lit his saber and charged one of the jedis.  He swung his saber with such might that it came crashing down upon the enemy jedis saber and threw it from his hands, Athran quickly cut off his legs, and force pulled the jedi’s saber to him.  Athran stood, one saber in each hand, eyes burning as coal, ready to strike.  Exar stood, one saber in each hand, eyes burning brighter than the sun, ready for the battle that legendary jedis were made of.  With that Athran and Exar backed slowly towards a wall, following the plan they had made earlier, to stick together.  Five jedi moved after Exar and Athran, not even blinking in fear of what might happen.  One of the new jedi charged, and swung at Exar.  Exar blocked and returned the blow, which was met quickly by the opposing jedi’s saber.  He swung again at the jedi’s legs, the jedi jumped and brought his saber crashing down on Exar, who quickly rolled out of the way.  Exar looked at Athran, Athran knew what he was thinking, these jedi were more experienced, they were not merely civilians with light sabers, they were trained jedi.  They were something that would have to be dealt with… ”Anytime now Tylen,” Exar said telepathically, debating what he should do next.

"Ok..." Tylen Replied... Tylen took a deep breath and reached into his tunic, pulling out the 3 crystals he has been carrying with him.  He pulled in as much concentration and energy as he could in a few seconds of meditation.  He looked down at the crystals remembering his first battle...the situation much like this, only Atrus was not here to guide him. He stood up peering down at the dark jedi.  "This one is for you Atrus..."  Tylen said as he placed the stones back into his tunics. He looked down on the Jedi, waiting for the right moment to stage his attack.  Exar took a shot to one of the Dark Jedi, sending him flying across the room to the wall that was near him. Tylen took a deep breath, hold it and and jumped.  He broke throught the staided glass window sending pieces everywere.  He ignited his saber in mid air, coming straight over the dark jedi, stumbling to try to get up.  Tylen fell in what seemed like year it was going so slow.  He put his saber below and landed on top of the other Jedi.  Thrusting his saber into the top of his head and into his body.  The Dark Jedi dropped to his knees as the saber began to cook him from the inside.  Within seconds there wasn't anything left of the degraded soul.  Tylen tore his saber out of the mans flesh and positioned himself for more attacks...

Athran blocked, spun, and attacked again. His two energy blades rediantly spinning a web of light around him. The Jedi Athran now fought was obviously well trained and Force sencitive, judging by the smooth way he parried and counteratacked. Athran bared his teeth, drawing hatred from his deepest guts, and soul.  He used the Force like dark fingures, wrapping them around his foe, squezing, slowing time for the fearful, yet powerful enemy of the VEDJ. The Krath pressed his attack, lunge, block attack, and defend. He defended himself when another Jedi would rush in to help there commrade. But it was too late for the Jedi Athran primarily engaged in. His sites were set, his claws were ready, all he had to do was toy with his enemy alittle longer. The way a snake will shake it's rattle, only mere distaction before the main strike. In one fluid motion Athran drew in dark ripples of the Force, the energy felt hotter than usual, no doubt a cause of the feirce battle that took place. Athran dropped to the ground and the two blades like scissors, cutting off the lower part of his enemy's leg. In a gasp of pain the Jedi fell to the floor, just as Athran lept into the air. Using the Force ha came down on the Jedi like an eagle from the sky, his blade skimmed the top of the Jedi's stomach and face. Athran landed and spun into a low fighting stance to engage his next target, not bothering to cast a glance at the now disembowled remains of his previous enemy. Tylen was young, energitic, and in a way reckless. His blood stained tunic hung off his body, soaked from the cuts of his prvious entrence. He didnt mind the pain, infact in a way he welcomed it, it told him he was still alive. When he was much younger all he knew was fear, in his months of training, he had learned the art of turning the fear into hate. Now it was only hate, Tylen did not fear, he only drew power from the shadow of his past when he had once known fear. Now all he knew was the glourius dark side of the Force. Despite his recklessness, the kid could handle a sabre. His blue energy blade balanced in his hand as if it was a par t of his body. He spun, rage filling his eyes, landing a crippeling kick to a Jedi who had lost his balance. The mistep the Jedi took was the last he would ever make. As fluid as a master Tylen broke the Jedi's ribs, than tucked under his still lit sabre only to come up shoving his blade spear like through the gut of the un-balanced Jedi. Talyen glared into the eyes of the slowly dieing man, He placed his non-sabre hand on the right shoulder of the Jedi, to steady his victom. For what seemed like a long time they glared into eachothers eyes. Tylen's cold hatred shone through his face like a double bladed sword. As quickly as it begian it stopped, Tylen relesed the man and spun back into battle, an insane look in his eyes, the kid was blood hungry, the kid wanted blood, he needed it, and blood he would get.

----  Banquet Room  ---- Two jedi were left.  Tylen, Exar, and Athran stood, fearless, watching the two jedi that were left.  The jedi were ready to perish for their cause, they were ready to give their lives for what they believed in, they were prepared to die.  Tylen circled the jedi, cautiously, knowing that two jedi who were prepared to give their lives for their cause, were jedi that could not be underestimated.  One of the jedi tried to force pull Tylen’s saber from him, caught of guard Tylen stopped and let his guard down.  The other Jedi quickly force jumped through the air and came crashing down upon Tylen, only to be met by the Dark Lord of the Sith himself.  Exar assaulted the opposing jedi with a barrage of attacks and swings that only a true saber expert could block.  He kept swinging, relentlessly, every swing making him angrier, every block making him stronger.  The opposing Jedi seemed at ease with the attack, overwhelmed by the force that the Dark Lord carried with him, but in ease that he could stand up to him.  Growing angrier every moment, Exar forced jumped back, and let out an aura, an aura that made the jedi uneasy.  The jedi was no longer confident; he was scared.  Exar let out a roar, a roar of a lion, which frightened the jedi further.  He began to turn red in the face, he stumbled around, he acted as if he was scared when he held his saber in front of him, his palms could barely grip the saber.  Exar charged, he forced pulled the jedi’s saber from him and kicked him sending him flying against the wall.  The jedi was paralyzed.  The one lone jedi stood, staring at the fallen corpses of his comrades, he stared at the entrails that littered the floor, the room that was cursed by the Vast Empire Dark Jedi.  He nervously looked from Dark Jedi to Dark Jedi, watching every move that was made.  He looked around, searching for an escape, but found none, the only option he had was to take his own life, or die of extreme torture.  He decided to take the first option, he took his saber and stabbed it through his heart, letting out a scream that echoed through the Casino.  “At least we have one to question,” said Athran pointing towards the paralyzed jedi against the wall. The three dark jedi approached the one lone jedi, and stared at his limp body. “I won’t say anything, it’s a waste of time,” said the jedi, struggling.  “He’s right, you know, he won’t talk no matter what we do,” said Tylen.  “We should just kill him and start to look for this Tores Nores guy.” Athran sat down, he grabbed on to the limp jedi, concentrating.  Exar soon followed, he sat, grabbing the arm of the jedi.  The two immediately went to work, concentrating on breaking the jedi’s mind from the inside, causing him to go crazy, making him think such horrific deeds that he would forever be cursed to live with them.  No matter what, he would be alive, thinking of these horrific things, torture that mortal man or light jedi could experience.  The limp jedi stared off into the ceiling of the banquet room, his eyes growing wider and wider with every moment.  The sweat dripping from his hair.  He started to gasp for air, the sweat now dripping from his nose.  Still the Dark Lord of the Sith and Dark Lord of the Krath continued, torturing this man from the inside, he tried to scream, he screamed of pain that he could not even begin to imagine.  He screamed out of pure fright of the Dark Side.  Exar ceased, and soon Athran followed.  The two looked at the man and asked what they needed to know.  “Where is Tores Nores?” questioned Exar. “T… th… theee…. 150th floor,” replied the jedi. With that the three jedi left the banquet room.  The jedi beckoned, bellowed, and screamed for someone to end his life.  To let him leave his now unimaginably evil thoughts, to let him rest, and not be tormented.  Tylen glanced back, staring at the jedi who Athran and Exar had tortured, concentrating on his eyes, which were now purely white, his throat starting to bleed from his own screaming.  The jedi sat, lifeless against the wall, his eyes turning red, the blood now dripping down his chin and on to his robe.    He glanced once at Exar and then at Athran, now realizing what the Dark Side was truly capable of.  The three jedi lurked in the shadows, making their way down numerous stairs, elevators, and ladders to the 150th floor.  Looking for the man who was known as Tores Nores and what he had to do with the death of their brother, the death of their master, Atrus.

Floor after floor the three Jedi decended into the casino. 250 - 200 - 150. 'Finally...' Tylen mumbled in his mind, allowing Athran and Exar to telepathicly hear him. The trio followed a stream of people. Aliens of all spieces. Hutts, Rodions, and Humans were among the widest beings represented. Not the weakest minds to influence, but with the combined suggestions of the three powerful Jedi, they were effectivly invisable, and effectivly gathering information. It had not been terribly difficult to find Tores Nores's dwelling. As the three dark warriors approached they saw the door open. Two humans exited the room, and stood on either side of the entrence. Each was armed with a lightsabre, and was sheilded by silk-web armor. Athran, Tylen, and Exar quickly ducked into the shadows. Staying hidden in the darkness where they felt most at home. 'Guards...' Athran suggested. 'Most likly, they will have to be taken care of quickly and quietly.' Exar agreed. 'My pleasure...' Tylen said with a grin as he reached for his sabre. Athran put his hand on the young Jedi's chest. 'Wait, I have a beter idea.'

The three shadowy warriors approched the guards at the door. Their hoods up, bathing their faces in obscure shadows. Just shy of a meter from the door Exar kneeled and begain violently coughing. Athran and Tylen kneeled next to him, patting his back. 'Are you okay Skeeves? Musta been all that spice eh...I told you to take it easy...' One of the guards stepped forward. 'You've gotta get him away from here... does this look like a med center?' Well sir, I dunno if I can get this guy all the way to the med center - he may not look it, but he's a heavy fellow.' The guard from the left side of the entrence approched and looked at Exar. 'What's wrong with you boy? Can't handle your...' The man was cut off by the seering blade of Exar's lightsabre plunging through his chest. With a gargal the Guard fell to the ground. At that same moment Tylen whipped his body around while activating his blade, in one swift movement he decapitated the remaining guard. Exar deactivated his weapon and stood from his spot, glanceing at Athran. 'Skeeves?' He asked with a raise of an eyebrow. Atrhan shrugged with a smirk, and turned toward the entrence of the room.

The 3 Jedi peered around the corner into the room.  There was a very large desk that took up large portion of the room.  At the desk was a man, with their back turned away from them.  He had a pilots helmet on, obviously modifed to display pieces of information for his line of work. The 3 Dark Jedi made a half circle around the man.  They could see in front of the man that a computer screen had the galaxies and star systems laid out, some of them flashing. Exar in the middle of the two, put his hand out in front of him and a small red glow appeared in a sphere shape in his palm.  A second sphere appeared around the man lifting him into the air, he was frozen.  The man, in mid air, spun so he was facing the 3.  His helmet lifted off his head.  Exar spoke, "Tylen would you do the honors..." "Of course my lord..."  Tylen replied as he used the force to bring the helmet over the top of his head and rested gently onto his shoulders. Tylen began studing the displays inside the helmet and figuring out what this helmet was capable of.  Exar Kun and Athran assumed that this was the majistrate of the planet, or soo it seemed by the many medals and rank symbols all over his uniform.  They began to question him on his actions....

----  Magistrate’s Office  ---- Tylen pulled the helmet on his head and started to absorb all the information, instantaneously.  He knew the coordinates of all the jedi that were associated with this Tores Nores.  He absorbed all the information about the planet, its specious, and its functions. Exar and Athran stood, dauntless, staring at the Magistrate sitting comfortably in his chair.  They began to question him… “What do you have to do with the Vast Empire?” asked Exar. “Why did you assassinate Atrus?” asked Athran, his eyes instantly becoming coals of a fire, and just ask quick going to his normal blue yes.  “Who is Tores Nores?” questioned Exar. “I will never tell you damned Dark Jedi,” replied the Magistrate.  “I would rather die!” he retorted. “Then you shall,” replied Exar a glowing red ball forming in his hand once again.  He elevated the Magistrate off his chair.  Athran quickly began to concentrate, he began to tear at the man from his insides, slowly, tearing his entrails in two.  The Magistrate’s face went a bright red, his eyes bulged from their sockets from the pain, he began to have the taste of blood in his mouth, he gasped for breathe.  “I’ll tell you,” he managed to say. Exar set him back down on the chair. “To… Tores… Nores, is a code name for a military operation,” said the Magistrate, grabbing at his stomach.  Exar once again lifted the man up in the air, “Speak or be ripped in halves.” “Never!” shouted the Magistrate in pain.  Athran concentrated once again, this time the man’s hate fueling his power, he split him in two. Tylen took off the Magistrate’s helmet, “There is a ton of military activity going in a system close to the Vast Empire’s, it is like a military operation is being staged against the entire VE.”

Tylen continued, "They have Forces staged all over the planet.  Most are showing different systems...seems like more then just the locals want a piece of us...  And more seem to be on their way." Athran replied "We'll have to report this to the High Council immediately...  Lets get going, we have no time to lose" Tylen threw the helmet back on "This might come in handy later on." The Three Jedi made their way down the casino floors, not encountering any resistance along the way.  Outside they had notice alot more activity among the crowd.  Apparently news travels fast of there dead leader.  Most in angry protests.  Several flights of fighters flew overhead as they made their way back to the ship.  Trigit and TJ were already waiting for them when they arrived.  Seems they ran into trouble with forces and happened to get roughly the same information out of the commanders as Exar, Athran and Tylen did.  They rushed inside and took their sets, gearing up for the trip back to their home planets.  The ramp collapsed into the ship and the ship blasted off....
