Platoon Comp Update

Thank you for everyone who is participating in the Platoon Comp Story.  I hope that those that can post will join us for the second objective.

Our second objective is as follows:

Direct assault on the docked Mon-Cal cruiser (Phase 1 - destroy fighters in docking bay)

PLATOON COMP UPDATE

First off, latest scores:

Jester 75 (10 posts - Objective 2 started)
Paladin 50 (10 posts - Objective 1 complete)

Posting as begun on Objective 2.  Here is a more detailed summary of our new objective.

PALADIN - Second Objective
Mission: Disable or destroy Cardan V-Class space station Targus

Objective 2: Retrieve Armor/Weapons from docking bay and proceed aboard the MC-80 Mon Cal Cruiser Liberty. Once onboard, prevent the NR's fighters from launching by destroying them, killing the pilots, or disabling the docking bay.

Armor/Weapons: Standard Squad Equipment plus one personal choice weapon.

Details: Taking down the turbolasers has allowed all three squads from the 48th Battalion to land safely. They have brought additional ammunition for your squad. First squad (Alpha) will accompany Paladin to the MC-80 Cruiser and assist in the objective. Bravo and Omega squads will continue the invasion of the space station.

Expected Opposition:The Liberty houses three squads of elite commandos, all of which have been dispatched to the station's docking bay to repel the invaders. Once through them, the MC80 will have standard NR trained troops, but their numbers will be low because the ship is docked and most are on leave. The pilots are also decently trained in ground combat.

Objective Bonus: Preventing the launch of the fighters will allow the Dominion to microjump into the system. Its fighters will then join the battle against the Liberty and Targus.

Completion in less than 10 posts will result in no fighters being launched.

Completion in 11-15 posts will result in 1/4 of the fighters being launched.

Completion in 15+ posts will result in 1/2 the fighters being launched.

Objective 2 now has 5 posts recorded against it.  Let's get another 5 posts in and wrap it up at 10 posts for maximum scoring.

No need to apologise but thanks for letting us know.  Unless I get into a posting mood tonight, will probably wait till your post tomorrow before posting.

I hope you enjoy the movie, I thought it was quite good.

Will try to read that tomorrow, if internet allows as it strangely pnly allowed me on this morning. Right now i'm on my lappy which shares the connection with my desktop computer router, the strangest part is that it was not working for me solely, the rest of the people in the house had access to the internet.

Tomorrow I have to do a few chores around the house which includes wahsing four cars and helping out in the yard with implanting grass seeds , givinh wvwrything a good hosing and a few more odd jobs like that but I'll try to be on if the internet permits before or after the meeting.

Guys just to let you know that Lucky is now on a weeks leave due to poor to no internet connection.  She will be back on Friday once she changes her house or she may be back sooner if her internet problems are resolved.  In the meantime, any queries or issues that you have then feel free to contact me.

Well if it doesn't get resolved then she will be back on Friday when she changes houses.

Good work Zesh.  I am now on semi-leave until 8th June.  I will put up a post tomorrow (all being well) and seeing as how no-one else seems to be posting then that will leave you to put up the ending post for this objective.  I will be contactable through PM's but will not be on IRC.  Once the last post is up then PM me and I will let Angel know and get us onto the third objective.
