Why not create a loyalist 501st? Sort of a dumbed-down ARC squad? -----------------------

Because we already have the ARC squad? Besides, my guess is that it would take away too much activity. Since not all the squads are full and we pretty much have variety for squads, it doesn't seem necessary at the moment. -----------------------

This is unrelated to the topic, but it has something to do with it.
How come we don't have commandos? not like the ARC, but more like the Republic commandos? It's just a thought, but it would also take a lot of activity, but it would be a nice idea. -----------------------

Something like Imperial Commandos? I guess you could say we had something similar to that back in the days of my time. :P
The Army used to have a designated Elite Squad (a squad that wore blood-red Stormtrooper Armor, and not the standard white). These were like your Commanders because they proved themselves to be the best of the best in the entire division, hence their given "elite" status.
We held annual Elite Squad Competitions to allow other squads to challenge the elite squad and attempt to take the title for themselves, but such a competition requires immense activity - something we don't have a lot of right now. Also, the elite squad had a "minimum activity requirement", meaning if they fell below a certain point, the elite status (I believe) was either up for grabs again (meaning another competition was in order), or it was passed down to the most active squad, but I believe another competition was held... either that or no squad was elite at all :P -----------------------

Yea Zafo, but that has nothing to do with the Republic commandos. The RC's had four people, they didn't work alone like the ARC's do. So Technically.... they aren't the same.

No, I know where he's getting at.
You can argue that the former Fallen Angels and their derivatives being like a rogue commando type operation.
Problem is, we don't develop troopers from literally the cell up. Republic commandos, at least the cloned variants, are literally the same person, same training, until experience defines them. However, there is a mix of codependence and independence that isn't present in our system.
That said, there's always a market for suicidal tendencies.... -----------------------
