Who remembers that meeting about creating a elite fighter group like the Army's ARCs? What ever happened to that because I liked that idea?

Lol- didn't even see this. That idea is currently on hold: I'd rather get our squadrons fired up before trying anything as exclusive as the PT.

Last time I checked the army boards, the ARC project had flopped because angel left. correct me if this has changed.

I don't think we currently have the activity or the sheer numbers for an elite squadron (Not including ESC things). Besides, what would the criteria be for being placed in this? Service? Writing? Gaming?

It wouldn't have been a permanent group whatsoever- members would have to be elected and/or chosen for the particular assignment. Of course, if there isn't much to choose from- what's the point of creating it? There'll be a time and a place, but not just yet.
