You can stop worrying over the "I wish I were as smart as you" stuff because even the smartest person can not be intelligent and vice versa. People are who they are, and I'd rather be "not smart" than "ignorant".
Battlefield 2142 isn't a strategy game - in some way it is, but it is a FPS (First Person Shooter). It's an expansion of sorts of the Battlefield 1942 series. -----------------------

Not many people play 1942 anymore and those that do probally only play desert combat (DC) which was a mod that makes 1942 like a little bit glitchy bf2. (Was made before bf2).
I have all the battlefields. Anyone play #2 as well? -----------------------

I liked the original 1942 because it had a campaign. 2142 is just straight up, jump-in instant action combat, so I play online. I'll be sure to add you Urakai. -----------------------

Haha, and I just bought Battlefield 1942 on boxing day with some christmas money. 
Pretty sweet, it came with the expansions and Vietnam also, all for $25. 
Too bad my computer can't run 2142, it looks mad intense. -----------------------

I didn't even like desert combat when 1942 was the only one around. I miss playing that, don't have it anymore, been considering getting this new one. Vietnam blew chunks. I mean it was a good idea, just somehow it lost something in the execution. -----------------------

Ya, 2142 is 'very' intense!
I thought I was good at #2, getting a few gold medals, quite a few silver medals and a few bronze medals (for being the 1st, 2nd or 3rd highest scorer after a game).
Was really sweet and thought I'd be good at 2142, but I had no idea what I was in for. Now I'm lucky to get in the top 10 rather than normally getting into the top 5 :/. -----------------------
