The beginning confused me....
but through discussions on IRC, and at my school. We have come to a non official conclusion.
We think: The young boy in the beginning of the trailer is a young john (117), but the young girl... well that confused us.
We believe she may be Kelly (another spartan) or Cassandra (another spartan), this is just a guess though.
What do other people think? -----------------------

That Girl I think is most likely Linda their Sniper.
If you've Read the book Cassandra is dead.
Only Spartan II left that are female Kelly and Linda
Theres also Spartan like 82 which was a Female who was in the graphic novel i Forget here name but Kelly and Linda where the ones that John was close with.

It's probably Kelly - When They were young, John's closest friends were Sam and Kelly.
