Training and Growing up with the Kushibans has trained his eyes to see even the slightest movement or change in an environment. He can easily spot danger, and reacts quickly to that danger.
History:
Durandal was born on the planet Kushibah, one of the few humans to ever do so. His father, Dylan Va'aas was a trader who frequented the Kushibah system, selling the silks that the Kushibans made to the ritzy Imperials. On one of the visits, his pregnant wife gave birth. Without having the ability to take them on an extended space voyage, he left them there with the Kushibans, and did not return for many years. His wife, Amira, died just months after giving birth to Durandal, so the kushibans raised him.
For six years they brought him up to be a thin, strong, fast child, teaching him balance and patience. He learned how to hunt and fish and make traps.
When his father came back he found a strong, quiet child who was smart, yet hid what he knew. He took him away, and for four years he stayed with his father, visiting other star systems. While he was with his dad he learned the basics of martial Arts and how to fire a blaster. How to fly the cruiser, and make small repairs.
He learned the basics of technology, and recieved his first blaster pistol on his tenth birthday. When he was ten years old, his father was killed in an 'accident' between a bounty hunter and another target. He was left on the planet Tatooine.
He spent ten years on the desert planet trying to figure things out. Working for small dealers for pay and food.
Finally, after so many years, he had enough money, that he had purchased the few parts needed to fix his father's old spaceship that he had kept for so long. He fixed his ship and was leaving out system when an imperial cruiser stopped him. and boarded his ship. He offered them his ship and services in the empire if they would spare his life. So now, he serves...
