Happy New Years to the VE!
The new year makes us think of "things we will see, many places, and old friends long gone". The holidays can be happy times, but they can also be very sad. I would like to hold a moment of silence now, in memory of our friend @trus, and all our other loved ones that we are missing. *Long Pause* I wish all of you a safe and wonderful new year, and let's try not to have any more tagedies. Things that happen here in the VE.....although it is not real, it has some kind of effect on our lives. I don't mean the time we spend on each day either. For instance: when @trus died, it gave each one of us a reminder that anything can happen to any of us. That was a hard time for the VE, he was a dear friend to many people and is missed a great deal. Things in real life I am sure trigger memories of @trus, and my heart goes out to his family. The worst had yet to come though. About a month later, we had the WTC attacked and lost many lives. This affected us in what we did in the VE and what we did at work, school, etc. Then come November I think, we lost 3of4. It was too much for him to deal with I guess on top of his school work. My point in all this, is we had a year full of ups and downs (or at least what I saw of it). Let's make this year the best one yet! Happy New Year VE! -----------------------
