Welcome to the Vast Empire Imperial Navy. ----------------------- There is nothing wrong with fear.
You need never be ashamed of it, as long as it dosen't stop you functioning.
Fear is your natural warning system; it keeps you alive so that you can can fight.
Show me a man who isn't afraid, and i'll show you a fool who is a danger to his entire ship.

Forgive me for my insolance, and thank you once again, fellow crewman, for the welcome.
And, thank you Sir, Warrant Officer 2nd Class Jack Nebulax.
I have the first draft files ready to be loaded into your datapads. Please tell me if any information other than what is given is requested or required, and I will hurry to transfer them to you.
Here are the files.
Name: Zurth Scrace Crin'Doloi
Call sign: Zurth Scrace
Race: Twi'lek
Lekku and Skin color: Bluish white
Eye color: white with dark grey pupils
Height: 2 meters (6 feet 5 inches approx)
Weight: 102 kilograms (225 lbs approx)
Planet of birth: Ryloth
Appearance:
Standing over six feet tall, Zurth has a slender body that most would assume carries nothing but weakness within its confines. Though you cannot see it, his Imperial uniform covering his extremities as well as hiding his true body composition from all, he is well built for his body type. Though he is no body builder, he is not weak.
His skin, as all Twi'leks are, is not normally toned. It is a shade of blue, mixed with white. The range of colors deepens as you near the end of his lekku, which have a singular dark blue stripe running from approximately seven inches above the end downward.
An item to pull attention to Zurth's eyes is a striking cerulean line that runs horizontally across his eyes.
Personality:
Scrace is as hard as durasteel, and cold as his gaze would assume. He follows orders to the T, and doing so seems that he is incapable of emotion, thus giving him a calm and collective exterior, though the topic may make him look such as nothing more than a mad man. Zurth believes that people of weakness deserve to be punished, and even destroyed if they serve no purpose to those that should control, this spanning outward to the deepest, darkest cortexes of his mind from the days he was caught in slavery on Ryloth. Zurth never knew his parents, something that haunts him to this day, but not in the way most would think. It gives him a cold strength. A stoic gaze that can slowly cripple even the strongest guises put up.
History:
Having never known his parents, and his earliest memories being of a ryll harvesting slave, under torturous overseers, all to just protect and prolong the life of the ever so strong Crin'Doloi clan that controlled the territory. As Zurth grew older, stronger, and wiser, he became a person of moderate power amongst the slaves, growing in his skill of architecture and the ability to manage labor.
When opportunity came knocking, though in a form that many wouldn't consider, in the death of Kresh Crin'Doloi's only son. Kresh looked for a replacement, his wife having died, and none of his concubines having the ability to birth (that ability being stripped of them when they came under his servitude by a painful operation), the clan leader, and parliamentarian head, looked to his slaves to fill his void, not by rape, but by a form of kidnaping.
The Clan head looked for the one Twi'lek that most resembled his son, and snatched him up in the middle of the night, forcing him into a cell in the lower quarters of the manor, and chemically branding the slave with the birthmark his son once had. That slave was Zurth Scrace.
What Kresh did not know was the hatred for him that Zurth had deep down inside of himself. It took several years, needing to gain the complete and absolute trust of Kresh, and the high council of his territory, having been highly scrutinized and watched because of his former slave status. But Zurth was finally able to get close enough in private to do the deed he had dreamed of for so long. Assassinate the man who would call him son.
He was never able to be convicted of the crime at hand. For several years, the council attempted to get Zurth Scrace Crin'Doloi to take the helm of the council, but he resigned from the opportunity time and time again, not wanting to stay on this slave infested world. This land that reeked of weakness and absolute disgust, that Zurth left the planet on the first Imperial recruiting ship that came to his planet, and to his attention.
Thus where Zurth is today, ready to take the commands of his superiors, and advance through the ranks of the Imperial Navy.
Goals and Motivation:
Weakness. Zurth despises weakness. The destruction of this one simple thing is something Zurth longs for, though knows the consequences of. He as well knows that many of the weak can be enslaved for the strong. Even though a slave once himself, he has no good feelings or pity for others that are enslaved. He was able to overcome and gain power, why not them? Thus feeding that anger.
Longing for something better, something more powerful. He wants to be able to control, and own something of great importance. This spans from his time as he could have taken the world of Ryloth by storm, but decided not to. It was not big enough for him.

Impressive Bio, I must say. Well, welcome to the Vast Empire Naval Academy. Your doing well. Once you've got your biography into place, Shazam should help out with the other details, I'm not so sure of where he is at the moment, but I'm his 2nd man here at training. You can go to the VEwiki link on the main page and from there study up on everything you can.
Look over your Bio once more, correct any spelling errors and make sure you have 1 space between words and two spaces between periods and words.
Also, about Copy and pasting. When your finished with a post or your bio, remember to copy and paste it so that if you loose it, you can always paste it back and it will work. It helps when you spell check after posting also.

Read through things there and I'll keep you going through it.

I hope that you find my observations and thoughts on the effectiveness of these two maneuvers, as it was said I could post them here. I will load them into your datapads.
The High Speed Yo-Yo
The basic function of a high speed yo-yo is to put your Tie Interceptor into better firing position on a potentially faster, or more maneuverable opposing spacecraft. For example, you're AoT is closing quickly, but your opposition is making a break turn to the left, giving you no shot whatsoever, and making you meet zero percent of your purpose. By making a soft turn to the upward left, not too high, as you do not want to leave the possibility of being out maneuvered even more by creating a large yo-yo turn that you cannot break from, and then a break turn to bring you down with a little bit longer AoT, but perfect shooting range.
If correctly done, using the perfect pitch, and speed, execution of the enemy is almost guaranteed.
Reasons to do this are mainly, and simply, because you are being out maneuvered. If not out maneuvered, then going up against another fighter that is trying extreme evasive maneuvers against you. A situation where obtaining the precise and optimum firing capability is elusive.
The Break Turn
A break turn, a sharp turn in either direction meant to throw off your opposition, or to gain a better AoT, or even vantage point, is a tactical offensive and defensive maneuver that is a basic flight knowledge requirement, as well as a handy tactic that no pilot should be without.
The endless possibilities of this maneuver can be overwhelming. Though it is not difficult in nature, needing only to make a sideways turn with extreme pitch to force your fighter along. With the basic functionality of this maneuver, if in the hands of a gifted pilot, a pilot could turn their TIE fighter into a barrel roll right off of the turn, requiring minimal recovery before completing the second defensive tactic.
How is this possible? After completing the break turn, and finding yourself on a semi-straightened path, just rock the fighter into a slight roll and apply a subtle amount of pitch to keep you in the maneuver. The purpose of a combination such as this is more of an evasive nature, and extremely defensive. The scenario is this. You are evading an opponent that is firing upon you from close behind, but you are in a heavy battle with close quarters. You make a break turn to your right, and evade the initial threat but are closely approaching a small asteroid. By breaking into the barrel roll, and making it a wide, slow roll, your speed would decrease enough to evade the obstacle, and possibly give an over zealous opponent a bit of overconfidence that would lead to a mistake on their behalf. Leaving them crashing into the side of the asteroid.

Alas, my awaited first post, Sirs. At least awaited by me. I hope that you all enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Please, everyone, even if you are just a fellow crewman, please give me your thoughts and ideas on how to improve. Thank you.
+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+
The blanket of the Imperial bunk, tucked away in the barracks of the Venom Squadron sector, rather, the Imperial Naval Academy's glorious division, is writhing with discomfort. Tossing and turning, whipping the edges of the blanket around, tearing it from the body of the recruit who "sleeps". Bluish tinted skin reveals the identity of race, but who could it be? The head is still turned away, hiding in the small discomfort that is a pillow, but suddenly lashes outward, freeing itself from the menagerie that held it close. A deep cerulean stripe scarred across the eyes. Zurth Scrace.
Much anger is inside him, causing his limbs to lash out with the rage, even while he slumbers.
In his dreams, peering through them like a picture book, he is reliving a haunting event of his past, or haunting for most. This, this dream is something of a relic that pushes him onward. Makes him strive for the greatest he can accomplish. Crimson runs down a blade shoved deeply into the spine of a Twi'lek leader, black and offset browns in color. The sanguine flow sends little spurts onto Zurth's face as the helpless victim falls to the floor, paralyzed from the waist downward.
"How does it feel...Kresh?" Scrace lets loose an evil laughter. "Take someone you have hounded for seventeen years and put them as your family? Take someone and scar them...put a disgraceful mark across their face and expect them to be loyal? My loyalty ends here!"
Kresh, the downed Twi'lek, is rolled over onto his back, and tries to speak forth a condemning hymn of sorrows and transgressions, but has his life light snuffed out by a quick stab of the jagged blade through the throat of Crin'Doloi. But, Zurth did not stop there. He proceeded to pull the clan leader's eyes from their sockets by his fingertips alone, feeling their juices flow outward as they crushed under his fingertips.
The true trophy that was captured that day was the tips of Kresh's lekku. Both kept as souvenirs, a necklace, after they were preserved accordingly.
Zurth startled to attention, wearing only his Navy sanctioned sleeping attire, and swinging around his neck, the necklace made of his poor "father's" lekku. The doors haven't even creaked with the stress of opening before Scrace has his salute ready. A half angry smirk is on the lips of First Lieutenant Courtney as he entered.
"Crewman Crin'Doloi, why are you still in your sleeping attire? Training is set to begin in less than a standard hour. Morning warmup has all ready began, and you are officially twenty standard minutes late." 1LT Courtney walks out of Zurth's room, "Crewman Doomslayer, please make sure that Crewman Scrace is quickly escorted to hanger 24G-3." Down the hallway, passing up several other recruits standing at attention, Comprey quickly turns a corner.
"Looks like you have already screwed up, Scrace. Looks like you need an escort!" Zurth reprimanded himself under his breath, berated himself for the lack of action that he took. Sure, 1LT Courtney is his CO as of this moment until he graduates from flight school. Though anger is within him, and he would love no more than to make the lieutenant pay for the embarrassment that he has felt, a sordid respect has already began to grow deep inside his mind.
"Scrace, we are to promptly get to the hangar. With the few people that still need training, we are the only two in the class today. We get to fly with a legend."
Zurth just stared at Mykill, his eyes harsh and reading deep within, judging the man that made the comment. He quickly zipped his jump-suit shut. "Then let us not keep the dear lieutenant waiting."
"Ahh, my two recruits are finally back in my presence. Shall we begin then, Crewman Scrace?"
It had taken several minutes, minutes that seemed like hours in Zurth's mind. He dreaded what punishment may occur now that he was finally set for his training. "Sir, no time is better."
"Correction," though he is reasonably kind, Comprey Courtney gets into the crewman's face, knowing that a stern hand is something that all recruits need. "Thirty-five minutes ago would have been a better time. But now that you two are here, we will start our preparation for maneuvers."
"Each of you can see your TIE Interceptor ready for you to enter. And after you do such, you will be responsible for do the preflight checklists. You will be responsible for getting your gear on correctly. You are responsible for yourself." Courtney marches around Doomslayer and then Scrace, "You both may think that I am being harsh on the two of you, but this is a time of need. Recruits are becoming fewer and farther between. We cannot have you two spending weeks or months trying to become the basic TIE Fighter pilot."
Zurth moved to his fighter, amazement in his eyes. The machinery was beautiful, the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. This piece of equipment, in Crewman Scrace's eyes was greater than any of the Hutt's captive Twi'lek dancers. Greater than that of a glowing gas giant of red and burgundy, oranges and yellows all mixed throughout. Zurth was in love with this fighter.
Though he tried to keep them from filling his head, thoughts of grandeur took away all of his anger. Took away all feeling he had, other than the enamorment that was so spectacular, especially as the hatch shut on his TIE. His respirator in place, mask set, and controls primed, Zurth was ready for anything.
Scrace had always been known for being a bit cold, a bit harsh. But now, he was like a kid meeting his first swoop race champion. A lonely man finding out that he does not have to pay for the sexual pleasure that he was just given. A buzz came over his comlink, but he is too overjoyed to notice.
"Blue three! Blue three! This is Blue Leader! Why have you not launched? Is there a problem with your Interceptor?"
Zurth snapped to life again. "No, First Lieutenant...Blue Leader. All systems are green. Launching now."
Again Scrace berated himself under his breath as he felt the snap of his TIE hitting near full throttle. Upward and outward, Crewman Scrace raced away from the Imperial Cruiser, out into the starry beyond, but truly not more than a small jaunt away from the Imperial wonder. Zurth got a feel for the TIE, dipping upwards and downward. Trying hard and true to figure out the complete controls of his magnificent fighter.
When he finally caught up with the maneuvering 1LT and Crewman Doomslayer, they were in the middle of doing a variation of the barrel roll, having first started out with a wide, slow roll, and then taking it into a somewhat faster more of a spin. This was not Scrace's day, as when he tried to come into formation, the other two, 1LT Courtney, and Doomslayer.
"Now, you having finally arrived, Blue Three...catch us if you can. Your objective is to paint Blue Two and Blue Leader a total of three times. This can be in any amount on either fighter. You have twenty standard minutes. Go."
The rest of Blue Team zipped away, the humming whistle of their TIE's all that Zurth could hear, having had no time to react whatsoever. Scrace knew that this was another test, to see if he was even worth wasting the time of training on, being he had all ready been late three times that day. But, as he was told, Blue Three went off on his mission, get a locked target on Crewman Doomslayer and his CO, 1LT Comprey Courtney.
A shrill whine sounded as the TIE Interceptor was powered up to full, Scrace having the need to catch up quickly, and did catch up rather fast to Blue Leader. Slightly confused, but determined, Zurth went after his CO. He followed as closely behind as he could, but was unable to get a target lock on. Just when it seemed that Blue Three was going to lock his targeting system on fully, right after quickly breaking a turn to the left to catch the 1LT, Comprey sped straight up in the air, breaking off with a twist to the right.
Fire burned within Crewman Zurth Scrace now. Thoughts of grandeur were gone. Thoughts of following orders dead. He wanted to get a target lock on his commanding officer, and would then go from there. No, he would never kill his CO, as he has no death wish himself. And death would be the penalty for that sort of insubordination and murder.
Instead of following suit, Scrace broke left, headed into a barrel roll to make it past a course obstacle. He spotted Blue Leader. It seemed as if BL Courtney was waiting for him to catch up, and once Zurth did, Courtney was off again. Zurth was quick to pursue. All of Crewman Scrace's focus was on painting 1LT Courtney.
At seventeen minutes in, Zurth was close to having achieved his goal, but did not reach it. He had Blue Leader almost locked in, and it seemed dead center in his sights. But as soon as the beep of a target lock was on the hilt of the sword of time, Comprey had disappeared. Not truly disappeared, only moved out of his sight, giving Blue Leader the ample time to do what was necessary. That being to paint Scrace himself. A sharp beep had sounded off inside of Zurth's helmet signaling what had happened.
"Blue Team, reassemble in hanger 24G-3."
Zurth came to a complete stop inside of the hanger. His helmet was off, and respirators getting removed as his hatch opened, and Comprey Courtney stood right outside. The Lieutenant had not removed his flight equipment yet, and Scrace was sure that this was going to be enlistment for a punishment as the five foot eleven CO stood there and sternly looked at Scrace.
"You did good out there."
Befuddled, Zurth answered with a hollow, "Thank you, sir," not truly knowing how to react. He had not met his mission. He was late three times in one day. How can he get a good job out of this entire mistake?
"You are ambitious, Blue Three, and I like that about you. You still need training, but did pretty good." 1LT Courtney helped unhook Zurth from his TIE, "Might have noticed how you had me almost painted several times. In reality, I had the targeting system locked out on your Interceptor. What you were seeing was just your placement on my AoT. You did paint me once."
Zurth's jaw wanted to drop. He had been tricked while out there, and now...getting commended for his showing? He thought this had to be some sick dream that he needed to wake from.
"Scrace, most of my students do not paint me even that once. At least not when they are recruits in the Academy. But you need to improve. Your movement was sloppy, and was nowhere near as efficient as it should been." Courtney slapped Scrace on the back. "Work on your maneuvering and punctuality, and we will make a damn fine pilot out of you yet."

Actually, the amount of people going to Aegis will probably be cut short here very, very soon because of how evened out things are becoming. Never the less-
Good to see Jaden's been moving you on, but I have comments of my own. Sorry I didn't get to work with you first hand on these things- other things were at my attention, so I apoligize. So, allow me to introduce myself:
I am the Training Commander Shazam and I'm the one who basically directs you to where you need to go and decides what it is you'll receive for a grade here, so lemme critique your last few assignments quick-like:
Your bio is pretty good, though it lacks a 'physical' and 'mental' decription of your chracter- someone would actually have to read through the whole thing though they may already know your history. So, just add the Physical and Mental Description before your history and give us those emotions and attributes you seem to really enjoy writing about. The history is, more or less, to explain why it is they are that way.
Your Flight Maneuvers were good as well, though a little vague from time to time- you may be getting to wordy for your own good, lol. I have one comment in there and that's- the barrel roll doesn't necessarilly serve the same funtion in space. If you'd said you'd done it in atmosphere- yes, you'd probably have decreased speed and altitude with the friction caused by the airforces around your fighter as you spun. However, in space there is no atmosphere, no thick, fog-like substance to prevent your fighter from doing just what it likes. No- rather, your fighter would just do as it was directed without skipping a beat- it wouldn't slow down because of atmosphere, more likely because of hour your engines were vectored away from a straight course. - Thas probably a little confusing, but the point is that things are not quite the same in space. Another fine point is that you would not be able to hear the other fighters in space- maybe the hum of your own engines- but no sound in space.
For your space post- not bad. I can already see you have a specific style you like to sit down and just write with, but I ask you to be mindful. There's style and then there's lack of attention- you tend to switch tenses constantly. That meaning you may do a little first person here and there then add a dash of artistic third person. Most people, or really all I think, in the Navy use third person writing because its a little more cohesive when writing in a unit. The way you're writing right now is more shaped for a personal story rather than a squadron post- so you're fine here. Never the less, I'd like you to stick to one point of view- preferably third person.
A comment about Comprey Courtney- he's inredibly picky. He's almost insane about it- though not quite :> . You did get the part about him taking off without telling you exactly what to do right- he just assumes you know what to. Then again- if you do a maneuver and its not exactly correct to him- he'll ride you till he's satisfied which he rarelly accomplishes.
A bonbardment of information, but I thought I'd get my two cents in before saying you should move on to the final post and maybe if you have time, get the Aviator's done in a hurry so that we could include you in the graduation ceremony today at 3:00 pm CST on the VE main channel. That's on the irc server- irc.fossiltechnology.com and in the room #vast_empire
If you don't think you'll make it- don't rush. I'm really happy to see you working so hard to get through this- and in record time, btw. Keep at it man; rock on. ----------------------- *Flash Was Here...*

My Atmosphere Post. I hope that this is suitable. It was a bit rushed, and can be redone if necessary.
+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+
"This is Blue Leader to Blue Squad. Blue Leader to Blue Squad. Do you read?"
Both Zurth and Mykill heard and understood the Lieutenant. Both acknowledged with their call of Blue Two or Blue Three with the added "All Systems go." They were all ready out in space, now, though. So the go part was taken care of on the hanger of the Sandstorm, the Imperial bulk cruiser that had brought them to this wretched system. This horrid planet. Zurth had heard stories about Berchat, and these stories often held death within their wiry grasps more than once.
"Blue Leader to Blue Squad. This lovely ball of gas that the Imperial Sandstorm brought us to is our new playground. This is where the secondary part of your training will commence. It isn't as nice and peaceful as running around space is. Its not as nice and comfortable, as there is gravity on this planet. There is immense gravity. The G's that you will feel if you try to go out and do something stupid will knock you out." Courtney was set straight center in the line of three Interceptors headed towards Berchat. His helmet turned to see if his pupils were side by side with him, and ready for the action that would commence. "Today we will stay in the upper tiers of the atmosphere."
"That means, no one goes ground grazing. Everyone stays in the levels with the least gravity. So you do not feel as many G's as you will in two days when I take you to the ground. As for now, we will get used to the atmosphere and then do a little combat training. That means, do a barrel roll in atmosphere, a break turn to the left and a....."
Zurth faded out while listening to his CO. His mind traveled back when he was under the tutelage of his supposed adoptive father. The man that took him from friends in the mines. Something that Kresh had spoken to him on the night that Zurth had been chemically branded.
"Young Scrace, you do not understand what I do here today, or why I did it. But even in your capture there is a lesson to be learned. I will be raising you to follow my roots. To follow my lineage. To follow my reign," Zurth scowled as he remembered the words spoken to him.
"To do this you will have to be cold. Be ruthless. Yet, be giving when you need to be. The attacks you make, such as the one that plucked you out of the mines earlier today, must be swift and as quiet as possible. You must be a god among men to be anything within this realm."
Thats when the beating had started on young Scrace. They beat him severely so that he may be branded. So he could not put up a fight. Anger...absolute hatred and rage began to fill Zurth, and his speed had began to increase as he was preparing to head into the atmosphere of Berchat. The com began to scream at him with warnings from his own machine, and with orders from 1LT Courtney. It had taken several repeats before Scrace had even woken up from his own dreamscape to hear Blue Leader.
"Blue Three! Wake up out there! You are head in too fast! Pull up and head back out into space!"
It was too late. Had been for a minute or two. Zurth had unconsciously set his direction and speed directly for atmospheric entry, and could not change his direction now. However he could slow down ever so much. Or could have tried. At the speed that Scrace was going, his entry into the atmosphere almost knocked him unconscious, as his head was whipped around. Zurth would be lucky to be alive if it were not for his protective helmet keeping his head from bashing against all of the controls inside of the Interceptor.
"Blue Three! Hold it steady!" Though groggy, Zurth heard his CO loud and clear. Having tried to shake the cobwebs from his head, his thoughts cleared a little, and he was able to start leveling out the TIE. "Good, Blue Three. Keep leveling her out. Then come back up to the edge of the atmospheric hold."
Scrace started his upward ascent. His hands wrung his wrists as his nervousness once again rose up inside of himself. All was known, he did get reprimanded for today. Right as he exited the atmosphere and fell in line with Doomslayer and 1LT Courtney. Zurth could not see his CO's face, but knew that it was a relieved, yet angry scowl.
"Blue Three. What in the Universe was running through your head?" An image of the Lieutenant appeared in Scrace's visor. "You could have just lost your life, Blue Three. You could have just became the first student of the academy to die in the atmosphere of Berchat, AFTER having three weeks of heavy training, day to day test runs and maneuvers. Answer quickly. Is your Interceptor malfunctioning?"
Zurth had wished that he could answer that with a yes. "No, Blue Leader. All systems are fine." Having those words leave his lips, and the twitch of his lekku showed his rising humility. "I became dazed while training, Sir."
"Dazed? Dazed?" The image of Comprey had disappeared from Scrace's visor. The Lieutenant had needed to regain composure. "Follow me back into the atmosphere. Blue Two, you are free to head back to the Sandstorm."
"Blue Two heading out."
The profanities that ran through Crewman Scrace's nearly blinded him as he followed closely on Blue Leader's AoT. Slowly they headed back into the atmosphere of Berchat, feeling the G's come against them as they had furthered their entrance into the atmosphere.
"Follow my lead. Do well and you won't spend a week in the brig, Blue Three."
"Yes, Blue Leader. Following suit." Thoughts of murder had crossed through Scrace's mind again. He wanted Courtney dead...but knew that it was his own fault for getting caught up in the past. Getting himself caught in a situation that he was no longer in.
Blue Leader sped up a little and broke to the left. Zurth followed behind, a little slower than the Lieutenant, fully feeling what had almost knocked him out. He let his body absorb the feeling, become used to it, before he sped up and followed, or tried to follow, Blue Leader into a barrel roll. Zurth accomplished it, but it was a little shaky. A bit sloppy. He had known he would get spoken to about the cleanliness of his execution. The thrust of his Interceptor could be felt in every crease and wrinkle of his body. He was starting to become euphoric again, but he could not allow that to happen.
"Stay with me Blue Three." Comprey had headed in a speeding vertical line directly after speaking with Zurth. Not being able to maneuver quite as quickly, it was a little ways past the point that the CO had went vertical before the Twi'lek was able to gain the same ground. Heading straight up, having felt the G's pull at his flesh, Scrace felt free. He felt he was meeting his purpose. He was doing what he was meant to do.
They began to exit Berchat's atmosphere, having skipped the combat training, unknown to Zurth, but it was scheduled for the following week. As their course became evident and straight for the Sandstorm, the comlink had opened up once more.
"Scrace, you are becoming a problematic pilot. Yet, you correct your problems on the next try. What you need is to be able to focus. To be able to keep your mind on one thing, not just lose your thoughts and go off on a tangent every time you fall asleep at the helm." His eyes casted their gaze downward. Zurth thought he was getting booted from the academy. "Blue Three, after we return to the Sandstorm, you are assigned to your bunk for three standard days. You may not leave. You must fast. You must meditate. You must figure out a way to get past these delusions. If you do not, you will be cut from the Vast Empire's Naval Academy, and sent home in shame."

Very interesting- I like how that turned out actually. A bit rushed as you said, but good. Now though, if you'd like, and this is in no way required, you can make a follow-up post about you coming back to the academy and finishing things out so that you know exactly how your character is after the academy before he heads into a real squadron. Fighter combat is far more complex than we let on and in the real thing out there with fighters that want to kill your character- you're going to have to make it seem that way but also present how you are prepared to fight back. That's why I sometimes suggest pilots continue with a follow up post or two. Just at thought though-
Congrats on passing through BT btw- you still have Aegis to do ----------------------- *Flash Was Here...*
