Hate to have to do this in the time we're most active, but I'm going to be gone from this Sunday (Tomarrow), until this upcoming Friday night.  For the academy, I'm going to have to direct anyone able to simply put up this opener for those who come in:

Howdy- I'm the commander of Training and thus- you're trainer.  As of right now you are a part of our academy family, better known as Venom Squadron.  There is a thread on the Main ComNet for communication between Academy members you may use if you so choose.  Anywho, you are currently in Flight School, a latter part of Basic Training- from here we will prepare you for a squadron.  The process takes a little under a week if you stay consistant, but you need to be trying or it could take longer.

Right off we're going to create your character- follow the link below to be taken to Flight School.  From there read Chapter 1: Character Creation and then post your bio on this thread.  I'll critque it then; perhaps look at some other bios around here.

Now- that's just an opener but it gets people going.  Anyone can comment on bios so you'll be able to help immenselly just from that.  I'll sort and sift through as many as I can in the morning as well as get Nazgul's next story up.  Trevor and Art are temporarilly in charge, and both Kaph and Aegis will need to submit their upcoming activities in a report to Heth so he knows what you're up to- add my name to that list so I can see when I come back.  We should be able to hit the ground running with all the incoming recruits and great ideas floating around.  Guys- its been a great month and I can't say how proud I am: keep rockin.

Atrick, though you are one of the quickest and most active people around here, it needs to come from a person at a higher position, or they'll think recruits are running the place.

If there ins't a problem, I think either Art or I should do it.  If art doesn't object, I'll keep those recruits in line and get things done that need to be done.

Note that Shaz said 'anyone able' Now, that said, it probably should be someone thats a least a Flight Leader or Squadron Commander so its has the appearance of some authority behind it. Other than that, I'd say first come first serve, though the message should probably be modified so it doesn't sound like you're the NTO, or to make it clear that it is a message from the NTO, and not from you.

Now I personally think we are taking this training thing a tad too far.  Don't fight over the recruits; if you see a new one and there isn't a welcome, help out and post it.  Many of you are good writers and can assist with reading bios as well.  Given constructive criticism and be nice and friendly about it; we want them to stay but we also want to help.  There is a delicate balance there.  Fight over them and we lose them.

There I think that settles that.

And I'm back- thanks for all of those who helped me out while I was away.  As for those exams, the materials need to be be sufficient before I can prepare the test, so I'll be getting in contact with some people so that this can be completed before Summer's end- hopefully within the next week or so.  The ESC kind of interupted all efforts in getting those materials together, so sorry for the lateness of it all, but it needs to be done well, so be patient.  Thanks again- rock on.
