Hrm well- I must have made a mistake with the rank bit- you will be an LCRW if you decide to skip training, although I'm pretty unhappy with having to have us do that.  Even if you are extremely experienced in the DJO and the Army, there's a fair chance you don't know a lot about the Navy.  I gave you those sites to look over, but I won't simply give you a high rank when you have not earned it.  Also, I don't like the idea of you using your character from the other two because he may lack the experience, despite DJO 'experience.'  Those are different fighters I presume and maybe the battles your character incurred are very different, more reflective of the force rather than dog fighting.  I really don't know your character or you writing very well, so I can't say for sure.  As I mentioned in my message though, if you would like to take it up with Japheth- you may do so.  Right now I will not force you to BT, but I would highly suggest you read- some of the material.  A person in three divisions with one character- that's a bit much. Most people can not simply enter the Navy- they go through a long academy process, despite DJO training.  This is going to be a lot different for your character- you have to make it seem that way.  This can not be 'easier.'  It shouldn't be.  Simply meddling with people's mind when flying isn't going to be acceptable for every tactic- use your knowledge and common sense rather than force for the most part.

I'm glad to see you in the Navy, but if you could address these concerns I'd be a lot more comfortable.  Thank you.

We've come to a concensus and he will go through training, retaining his account but using a new character for the Navy.  He will not be force sensitive despite his DJO account and character.  He will go through training and be placed in Aegis at the completion of it.  That is all- thank you for your cooperation.

Let me go ahead and make some comments here.

First, it is generally the policy of the DJO that they not use their abilities when working as a member of the Army or Navy except under extra-ordinary circumstances as it gives them an unfair advantage over the other members and generally causes them to outshine everyone else. So, even without saying so, he wouldn't have been using his abilities for the most part. Story reasons for this primarily focus around keeping the general existance of the DJO as secret, as most people (probably including you) don't even know it exists.

As for transfers between divisions, we have had this happen before. Lonewolf moved from the Navy to the Army and back again. The policy taken at that time was that there was a rank reduction, that they kept their rank in the previous division (although were retired from it) and that they were generally allowed to skip training.

Angel has been a member of the Vast Empire for about as long as I have at this point. He has been in both divisions with different characters. I do not really see a practical reason to put him through the training process unless he chooses to do so (though, as training is now much more elaborate, he should probably read through some of the stuff there :P). That said, his Army rank was roughly equivlant to our CPO rank as far as how many promotions it takes to get there from the trainee rank. Lonewolf, who was a Naval officer when he transfer, was reduced 5 or 6 ranks. Seeing as how Angel's rank in the Army was not as high, I think a 2 rank reduction is not unreasonable. This would place him at PO2.

My goal here is to ensure that precident for this sort of event is established and to ensure fairness in general. Esspecially in this case where the player, if not the character, has actually gone through the training process in both divisions. As such that is how I'd like this transfer to occur, providing no one has any major problems with it. If they do I welcome comments on this topic. Feel free to send them in a private message if you'd like to keep them from other people's prying eyes.

i have no problem with him going in as CPO as long as HIS CHARACTER remembers that the others have more experience in the navy
