Environmental Training(Raider squad)

"Alright everyone here?" yelled sergeant Slick over the gusts of wind that blew the snow against his helmet. "I'm going to assume yes."

"Assume makes an ass out of U and Me." said Marka as he half walked, half fell towards the squad leader.

"Funny. Anyways you all know that this is training. We haven't had a need to go to a cold environment yet, but we have to be prepared for it anyways. Just our luck that they have a winter training facility right here at home. Walk around a bit, and try to get a feel for it." Slick began to walk forward, and quickly slipped. He fell backwards, and landed hard on the frozen ground. "I HATE SNOW!"

The squad laughed as the squad leader slowly got up. They quickly began to walk around. Slowly at first, and then with more confidence. Tallanvor seemed to really be enjoying himself, as he slid past the others with a cocky laugh. They could all hear Slick's muttered curses over the com as he fell twice more. Finally even he got the hang of it.

"Alright men. Fall in." The squad quickly lined up, and faced the squad leader. Slick waited for them to get into position, and then started to speak. "What we have to do is simple. There's an old storehouse about a mile away, and we have to secure the building and defend it from outside attack. Should be quick and easy."

"What's the opposition?" Rogue asked.

"Training droids." the Raiders groaned. "Yeah I know. Bit close to home after the last mission. Their weapons are on stun, but still pack one hell of a punch. Make sure that you all have your weapons set to stun as well. I'm not paying for training equipment. That's all I have, but Darr wanted to speak with you before we begin."

Darr stepped forward, and faced the assembled Raiders. "It's ten degrees below zero in here guys. If you suit gets torn, or damaged in anyway report back to me quickly. Frostbite, and hypothermia can set in before you know it. Make sure that you stay warm, and that you can feel all the parts of your body. Also keep your darkened lenses down. Snow blindness is not something to be laughed at. That's all I got. Slick?"

"You heard the medic guys. Let's do this quick, and get it wrapped up. I don't want to spend the night out here. Any questions? Alright then. Let's get to marching." commanded Slick, and with that Raider squad began the march to the storehouse.

Rogueboy hated fighting droids they were simply too many of them in this universe, the cold weather didn't bother him when he used to battle at the arena they would ice up the ground to make it more difficult. When they first started doing that Rogueboy would spar with other gladiators on the icy surface, they were only spars and therefore did not count he lost many of them. Rogueboy swore to him-self was going to find Tal and kill him.

Just than a sudden gust of wind blew and Rogueboy shivered before setting the in-suit-heating a little higher. Rogueboy leaned towards Slick and spoke.

"So what does this building look like?"

"Pretty simple, it's a two-floor building with a balcony, and it has numerous windows."

"Are we going to for an "outside" defensive measure or let them in and than take them out?"

"I was thinking along doing a little bit of both, in squads of two one to provide sniping cover fire and the other to watch the door."

Slick transferred a file to Rogueboy's data-pad, which read floor plans and showed two pictures.

The Raiders began trudging through the heavy snows towards their destination.
