As of about half an hour ago the Navy has a Training Officer again.
2nd Lieutenant Shazam has been promoted to the position of Naval Training Officer and the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He is leaving his position as the Nazgul Squadron commander, but retains his status as Wing Commander.
He has appointed as his replacement to the post of Nazgul Squadron Commander, Ensign Arturus.
Big changes are soon to come to the training system of the Navy. I've already heard some of the plans and they're pretty impressive. We can expect an overhaul of the training site, the tests, and the process of training in general in the near future. Hopefully this will help to further ensure that only those who are interested and active actually end up in squadrons, thus ensuring that the rampant inactivity we've been previously plagued with will be reduced or eliminated.
In short, look forward to some most excellent changes to the Navy here in the near future.
PS: We've been thinking about opening up a fourth squadron!
