Welcome one and all to another edition of "Raider's News." I'm your host, Raiders SL PHOENIX!!

*clapping*

This week has been a very slow week, due to the vast amounts of people on leave due to finals. However, your SL has done a miraculous job of keeping Raiders within striking distance in the HSC.

That being said, a valiant late night gaming marathon by myself, and the lovable ASL of ours Cyanus, vaulted us back into the lead, 75 to 70 over the Dragoons. The two of us over a two day period have played 8 games of JO against each other, and 6 games of candystand bowling. WOW! thats a lot! I also defeated LW and Giovanni from Dragoons, further widening our lead.

On a sadder note, it seems that Cyanus and I are the only ones doing ANYTHING (except Otto with the occaisional clutch post) for this competition. If you WANT to be emabarassed by DD, just let us know. We'll stop working our asses off to pull the dead weight around here.

Anyways. The story has been going well. Summary from the last edition is as follows:

IH and Wraith made it planetside in the stolen vessel and took out the ion cannons preventing us from landing. The three other squads launched from the Dominion...but ran into trouble when NR fighters launched. Myself and Fury each went out and tried valiantly ro protect the dropship...but failed. The ship took a direct hit, spilling Wraiths all over the frozen landscape. I finished my naval fight, then proceeded planetside to search for survivors. Meanwhile, the survivors patched together 7 sleds and went off to search for the missing Wraiths. I landed and aided them, until we came under attack from rebel speeders. We quickly dispatced them and located SGM Stonefish.

Our current orders:

I will be posting about us getting the clearance to proceed towards the NR base and assist IH in breaching the outer wall. From there, we enter the base and secure a position for the others to enter. After that, the search for the NR commanders is on.

If you need more details than that to post, catch me on  AIM or PM me on IRC to get my attention.

Also, I would really like people to start making graphics for the competition. We need them desparately to win. I will give 50k IC to anyone who makes a graphic for the squad. 100K for a recruit (payable at the end of the comp).
