Not much news, per se, but just some general pokes and what not. I gotta say that I am very happy to see that I received all reports for the past week! See? Not that hard is it? Keep doing this and you'll have one happy ASL~! Shoot, I'm already happy seeing the amount of activity going on in the story right now. Even after the competitions and what not, you guys are still able to power through posts that make sense and look good in the story. I love that. I want to see more of it. So good on all of you~ Have some shiny gold stars! (I keep a secret stash in my desk.)

This is the list of troopers who have reported with the normal activity required of them. Normal activity being Reporting AND Posting during the week.

RAIDERS News, Channel Five!:

A Fond Farewell and New Beginnings

As many of you have probably already noticed Joamer has taken a step back and placed his Army character on the back burner in order to focus on the Navy. He has led this squad well and has taught all of us some lessons in confidence, being true to your characters and our writing skills and a plethora of other tidbits that are hard to put into words. It's a sad goodbye, but one that will not be had without smiling faces as watch him go off to follow what he feels like he can accomplish. He was a wonderful leader and I'm sure all of us will miss him greatly.

Take care, Joamer. We all wish you the best.

Despite the farewell to Joamer, we must move on and continue down the path of awesomness that is RAIDERS.

As is obvious I have taken up the mantle of Squad Leader. Please don't be afraid, I won't bite hard... right away. I'll keep my whip to the side for now in order to allow you all to adjust to the new leadership. But don't let yourselves get comfy and lazy. Despite the fact that I will be admittedly a little more... soft than I have been with my past leadership roles in RAIDERS, I'm not going to let you all get too lazy. I'm going to be generally nice about it, though, so don't be too scared. Lululululul.

As I have moved up the ladder, my position of Assistant Squad Leader has been left empty. While I do have an idea of who I want to be placed as ASL, I will take today to speak to them before instantly throwing them the pretty hat. If they should deny it then I will post a notice about Platoon wide ASL applications being opened. Soooo for right now, we have no ASL.

I guess you all are wondering what's going to happen in the story now, yeah? Well I have an idea. Today I will be posting and in this post a few things will happen: An emergency call will be sent to Joamer, he will resign as SL;  a transport will be pick up him up; Jae will take leadership role as SL; we then continue on with the story, blah blah blah. While I still need to flesh out the details of these happenings, that will be the general gist of it.

I beliiiiiiiieve that's all I have to say right now. Stay tuned for more updates! <3

RAIDERS Mission Update!!

Here's the dealio~

So I know I wanted to give you guys a chance to toss in creatures on your own accord but I figured that since there's been a switch of command and normally a bit of a pileup goes along with that I'll just be taking over the poppin' in of creatures and what not. What this means is that every few posts, or at every erm... 'milestone'... I will toss in some creatures. With each creature post I make there will be notes about the creatures at the bottom of the post in an OOC box. So please pay attention to whatever notes I post. As the story goes on, the appearances will increase and there will be differences noted, you all may even find a pattern of some sorts. Yes, I am keeping you all in the dark about some stuff. Why? Coz It's fun and that was the point of this particular from the get-go. A surprise.

Other than that tid-bit of information here are a few other small updates:

I just posted and in my post Joamer left and appointed Jae as SL. We continued moving towards the cliff that we have to climb in order to reach the base that we need to scout. It's getting darker and so I expect some helmet use, guys.

That's really it for now. If I think of anything else, I'll post some notes or something.
