Another Week, Another Thursday!

Guess what day it is, guys... That's right! It's Thursday, meaning that - after what I had said last week - I expect ALL of your reports! I will be scanning the leave boards, and asking AHC members what they know so that if anyone is on leave and I don't know about it, you won't be punished. This week begins what I hope will be the turn around in RAIDERS reporting. I know they aren't life or death, but it's jst one of those little rules that really shouldn't be overlooked, even if you haven't done anything in that week. Hell, if you haven't done anything, send a report telling me what's up, or just telling me you're busy with real life or something. It really isn't that hard. :3

Onto the mention I made last week of fines. Starting this week, if I don't get a report from you, there will be a fine. It won't be your entire coffer, so don't worry about that. Below is the scale that will be used.

First offense - 1,000 Credits
Second Offense 3,000 Credits
Third Offense 5,000 Credits, mention of Demotion to AHC, possible AWOL
Fourth Offense 10,000 Credits, Official AWOL, Demotion and removal from RAIDERS

(This is subject to change as Joamer and I hash it out a bit more)

Another thing with Thursdays and with activity in general: There used to be something called 'Honor Roll' used in RAIDERS, Havock and I started it and it was a nice little reward system to counter the punishments for the missing reports. So I'm bringing that back. Being on Honor Roll is awesome, trust me. But it takes a little bit to get to the point of grasping the reward at the end of the ladder. Why? Well, it's another scale type thing, however each rung of this ladder doesn't have a reward, only the top does, and you can only get to the top by continuing up the ladder without faltering. To understand what that means, you'll just have to do your damnedest to get on Honor Roll every week!

Now, I've been seeing some better communication going on in the squad IRC, but there just still isn't enough on the ComNet. It's what the ComNet is for guys, especially this topic, so use it, okay? Use it like an... Oh shit, well I dunno. Use it like whatever you use to have fun on a Saturday night. Or something. Just use it xD

Mission Incoming!

So in the spirit of the Quick Write and the fact that there are two ghostly weeks that haven't been accounted for, THAT will be our next squad story. We will be writing it with the lovely Jester Squad since they had their own two weeks that haven't been accounted for.

The story will hopefully be up at some point today and will be an OFFICIAL Squad story for us RAIDERS, meaning the Honor Roll will come into play with posts being made.

This just in!:

I will be posting on the QW in just a bit. Since Jae has been... 'shooed away', essentially, by Joamer, she needs to find the rest of RAIDERS and get them secure... somewhere. Meaning, what my post will consist of is Jae once again forging papers, but these papers will be detailing how each of your characters (ie. Karash, Coadster, Heli, Whiskey and so on except for Joamer) were all working under cover as part of a security squad lead by who Jae is posing as, and is being brought OUT of their under cover duties since Jae's persona has now completed her transfer to the station. It will hopefully be explained a little better once I post, but if you have any questions at all, PM on here, PM me on IRC, or just post your question in this topic for all to see. Either way, I'll do my best to clear up any confusion. <3

RAIDERS, you are  DISMISSED!

Stories that feature missions in general will be counted. So Squad stories, Platoon Stories, Competition - all of it. The only things that will not be counted are personal stories, they will, instead, be counted towards over all activity.

Briefing Room C, I imagine, is just somewhere in the Security block of the station. So just go ahead and play with that, I didn't give any strenuous details to allow the next poster to have some fun with it or something. :3

This is where you will get your weekly dose of major news. Read this bit if you want to know what's going on.

Okay guys, the Quick Write is still going on and we're doing pretty damn well. There are a few things that we need to do, though, and that is proof read and MAKE SURE that our posts aren't over 500 words. I'm pretty sure we lose points if that happens. When it comes to proof reading, see if anyone is on, if so - send them your post in a PM before you post it. If no one is on, just read it over a BAZILLION times to make sure you got every mistake you can find.

RAIDERS and Jester now have a joint story going on called Missing Time. It's the story that details what happened during the two weeks the two squads were there on their own. Now, this story is going to be quite different. Since most of us are separated during those two weeks, just treat it like a giant personal story with 15 people and focus on your character only, unless of course you're paired with someone else in the same job or something. Use this for character development and all that juicy stuff, alright? Make it fun, but make it good, too, coz this thing gets up points in the QW competition. As always, there is also an FAQ & Dicussion thread for the story, so check that out and post if you have any questions or you want to talk about it.

THAT IS WHAT I LIKE TO SEE. I got ALL reports in yesterday, only one was late, but I let it slides since it was only by like 33 minutes. So congrats, guys! Thank you for working so hard, and for taking the new penalty and reward system seriously!

Lets keep kicking ass on Quick Write, too! We're doing so well, but we still need a few others to post a little more in order to strengthen the bridge we're on right now. So lets keep those posts coming, and as always COMMUNICATE. IRC, ComNet, PMs, AIM, cell phones. Whatever you need to do in order to keep updated on the story and other shit.

The Story post count will also include the joint RAIDERS and Jester story starting next week. These posts will also count towards Honor Roll things.
