Alright, here's the current insanity.
Our objective continues for a few more posts. I've been told they want the bases main shields to go down, so whoever gets the generator post gets to have it explode.
There are 3 commandos left, so we kill dem off finally soon. The dude in my last post, the Major is not to be heard from again. He's poofed on us, and may appear in a later story.
Once we complete this set of objectives we are going to go outside and stand on the wall. Then get orders from HC about what the current game plan is. And about the near suicide mission.
After we discuss it, and come to realize all of us pretty much figured we would not leave this place alive we all decide to volunteer for the mission.
That should give us enough stuff for a few days worth of posts. Let's get to it boys and girls. Last push right here and now.
Regarding leave posts - I'm not sure how much longer this objective will last. So, I'm setting a dead line of next Friday to have your leave posts done and posted on the leave thread. If you need more time send me a message, and I'll try to figure out when this thing will end. My grandmother who had Alzheimers passed away Saturday morning. I'm leaving early AM sunday and driving to Tennessee. I'll be back Tuesday Afternoon.
If you need to know what to do read my last post above this one. Or ask bright if she is not at work. We can do pretty much CD heavy posts and move towards the underground section.

Our part in the campaign is ending Friday. That is when I'll ending the objective. We've been plagued with RL issues for the past few weeks, and it's time we refuel.
So, no one is being pressured or even asked to post. However, if you are working on a leave post and want to post to please feel free to.

RAIDERS, it's been a long road, but our time on Thyveck has finally come to an end. And I must say, congratulations on a job well done.
Over the last few months I've been reading and grading your Thyveck campaign stories, and I must say that I am impressed with all of your dedication. As a squad, you all poured unbelievable amounts of time and effort into this competition. It is inspiring to see the squads so active, especially when many seem to doubt the vitality of the Corps. And while the final results turned out to be much closer than anyone, including myself, could have predicted, never doubt that you did an outstanding job throughout this competition.
My hat's off to you, RAIDERS. Congratulations once again! Not all who wander are lost.

Welcome THX, I'm Joamer the SL. Brightstar is the ASL but she is on leave for awhile.
We don't have a current story yet, but I'm about to submit my proposal for an idea I came up designed to work with the campaign that just ended. The story I had already come up with a month ago will be done at a later point, we just lost key players so it would need to be rewritten a bit.
The minimum word limit for posts in this squad is 700. I believe this is a limit that can be achieved with a little bit of work, and also it's large enough to create a really good post. If you find yourself having trouble reaching it do CD, or add in more details about the environment and such.
Our IRC channel is #RAIDERS, and that is our primary means of communication here. Reports are due Thursday to me and Bright, welcome to the squad.
