Hey guys, my apologies for not posting on the Holiday story. I've been busy with school, so it's probably a good thing to not expect one from me at all. This isn't going on the official leave board considering I'll be around enough to perform my few duties, but an actual post probably won't happen. I'll see if I can hit the IRC tonight and talk to you guys. But anyways, good job on the HSC so far!

RAIDERS HSC`10 UPDATE


Excellent job so far everyone. If you haven't checked the most recent score update we are in the lead for now, so lets try to keep up the momentum. If you are keeping track here are the totals so far:

The story so far:

RAIDERS was LAAT'ed into the action with ARC team Fury led by Commander Alec Drayson and 3 commando units. Our objective is to use the caverns that lead to a mine deep in the crystal which makes up the planet.

While exploring the mine shafts looking for an entrance to the Republic Base above us on the surface we ran into rage filled miners who are hell bent on stopping us at all costs.

Where are we right now?:

We have made our way to the central mining area, which is a large open space in the crystal. There are mining drills and all the mining equipment and about 30 pissed off miners trying to kill us with pick axes and mining lasers.

We are split up with:

1(on the ledge): Grahim, Valthir, Havock, Skarr, 3 ARC troopers
2(approaching through the caverns): RK, Bright, Beta, Karash, ARC Lead, 2 ARC troopers

If you are with Drayson you are picking off 30-ish miners with laser torches running towards you. If you are with Havock, you are trying to snipe the miners running towards the large drills for god knows what purpose they have in their little minds.

What's coming up?:

Its a mine directly underneath the Republic base, you didn't think they forgot to have some kind of warning system in place did you? We need to deal with these miners cause reinforcements with actual guns are so not far behind

props out to beta for some nice graphic entries. Valthir is on leave for a bit, but let that not dissuade you, WE SHALL OVERCOME!

Also I'm leaving for my mother-in-laws in about an hour, i'll try to post tonight if the christmas star is on my side, but the woman is evil, and hates me. so i'll probably be drunk to dull the criticism. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
