Here are the leaders in story posts for this week.  Your goal is (1) to post more than myself; and (2) more than your fellow troopers.  At the end of the story, whoever has the most posts will be rewarded.

These troopers have not reported or have not preformed the amount of activity required.  Staying on the Inactive List for long periods of time can result in demotion.

This is the list of troopers who have reported with the normal activity required of them.

Honor Roll:
The Honor Roll is the list of troopers who have preformed to a higher degree than necessary.  These troopers are on their way to promotion and recognition.  Troopers who have (1) posted at least twice in the squad story (2) have not failed to report (3) have participated in at least 3 other forms of activity (spec stories, personal stories, wiki work, IRC, etc.) are qualified for the Honor Roll.

Unfortunately, this week we had no story, and so the first requirement could not be fulfilled.  I do apologize, but it simply couldn't be helped.

High Honors:
Troopers under the High Honors category have been on the Honor Roll for three weeks in a row, and have proved themselves worthy of being recommended for a promotion.

ASL Opening:

I will be accepting applications for ASL of Raiders until next Friday.  On Friday I will make my decision and my choice will be announced shortly afterwards.  You must send in the following information to be considered:

1) What does Assistant Squad Leader mean to you?

2) Are you willing to take the position of Squad Leader should the opportunity present itself?

3) Can you work with others?  Can you work with difficult people?  Can you take orders?

4) How long have you been a member of the Vast Empire community?  A member of the Squad?

5) Why do you think you deserve to be ASL over someone else in the squad?

Welcome to Raiders JohnyD, I am your Squad Leader, Sergeant Ron.

Raiders Squad is the "Unconventional Warfare" Squad of the Corps, which means we do all the crazy stuff.  As a trooper you have a few duties that must be preformed every week.  Don't worry, they are quite simple and require no more than an hour per week at the least:

1) Report to your SL (thats me) and ASL (to be determined) every Thursday before Midnight EST.  I need your report to know you have been active for the week.  Please send your reports via PM as I do not read my email very often

2) Post in the Squad Story.  Our current story is http://comnet.imperialnetwork.com/topic/12187/.  You can join this story any time you want, but I'd advise asking around the squad about the history of the Praexus mission; and I would read some of the previous posts in the story (especially the first one) to understand what's going on.  Don't worry, theres only 5 or so posts right now, easy reading if you keep up with it.

3) Be at the VE meetings and hang out on IRC.  I don't require these from my squad members, but anyone can tell you that the real life of Raiders takes place over IRC.  If you need directions just send me a PM and I'll be glad to help you.  VE meetings are at 1:00pm Pacific, 2:00pm Mountain, 3:00pm Central, 4:00pm Eastern, and 8:00pm Greenwich on Sundays.  Squad meetings (if we have them) are usually directly after that.

Now for everyone else...

Great job on the posting for the story, but there is one crucial thing that some of you are messing up.  The big bad guy is NOT "The Rain Man" as some of you are writing.  It's "The Rain Maker".  That's the difference between the Movie about the rain man, and our story.

Private First Class Johny Dragos reporting for active duty Sergeant. It's an honor to be here, I shall do my best to uphold the name of Raiders Squad. A pleasure to meet you all, i look forward to standing by your side in battle. I appologize for not making my first meeting as i failed to get the information in time, i shall do my best to ensure it doesn't happen again.



I am currently catching myself up with the story and plan to contribute something worthwhile in the near future. If anyone has input on how i should introduce my character into the story, I appreciate input. As for weekly reports i will compile one as the week goes and be sure to present them promptly on thursday.



As i said before, I am honored to be among the roster of Raiders Squad. I shall not let this opportunity go to waste. I plan to be a dedicated member of the team Sergeant, to stand with strength and honor for the Empire, for Raiders Squad.

Hey RAIDERS.

I have some bad news... While at Julie's college... I kind of forgot to pack my Laptop charger before I left, so I don't have it with me, it's in Julie's room at college... So I will not be on very much for the next for days, or even at all. I apologize sincerely, for I know that to some of you, I am letting you down. I hope that this isn't too bad...

Right when I get my charger back, I promise to make up for my lost time on the story by making an excellent post.

Alright guys just some updates on the story.  Fantastic job so far guys, I'm really impressed with the posts, keep em coming.

First of all, Namyr isn't part of the squad.. so I have no idea why you are posting her in there. 

Secondly, as much as I like slicing someone's throat as the next guy; there is way too much innocent slaughtering going on.  I feel like my character's example in the last story didn't help as well, even though the circumstances were very different.  Try and keep the bloodshed to minimum please.

Okay. I know I said that I was going to post tonight... But some things came up with my family and I wasn't able to. I'm also still dealing with being without my laptop charger. It should be here in the mail by the time I get home from school tomorrow though... So be sure to look for a post from me at some point tomorrow... If we're lucky.

Howdy RAIDERS!

Okay so my spring break - yes even teachers get excited about spring break - well its next week. Chris and I are going to be leaving on Friday to his parents house were I will be swimming constantly. So I may not be more difficult to reach until we get back, which will either be Wednesday or Thursday.

So in short from 4/3 - 4/8, my activity will be sporadic. I am hopeful that I can make any sqaud meetings and the sunday meeting but if I don't...I'm probably swimming...or drinking Sake...in the Florida sunshine
