We are all basically PFC's. We should get a promo for atleast a few post's, or an email, or a report. COme on this is getting out of hand. Anyways. PROMO's!!!!  |

Promotions don't come easily. They are earned. For you to get a promotion, you must prove that you have been active. A couple of posts and a little chat on IRC won't do a thing. You must maintain this activity for a certain amount of time until someone thinks you've earned that promotion. Anyway, promotions aren't given out every week. We only promote people who have truly proved themselves to be really active. -----------------------

You are PFCs because your squad leader hasn't told anybody you walk on water.
We have all been there. We have mostly advanced from there.
There is only one way for you to follow that lead. Be active, be visible. Ask questions if you need to, but never, never go begging for a promotion your command staff doesn't feel you deserve atm. -----------------------

Well I'd just like to say, I've been the most active of the PFC, I think. well all I want to say is, I've been really active, that's it. Well I not begging or implying, I just wanted to let all the new people who read know, that activity does pay off. I just wanted to revive this topic. Many people have been asking me this question as of late, and I keep answering them the best way to get a promotion is not to ask for one!  A few recruits in particular should read this topic, more importantly they should base it on how they conduct themselves in the VE. That's all for me, so I'm going to let some of the rest of you give your comments. -----------------------

I am a PFC also and I don't see what the big deal is about being promoted. Sure its nice but nothing to beg about. Just be active for a awhile and things will start happening. Thats what I think. I mean this place is for having fun not for power. Thats what my Squad Leader told me atleast. -----------------------

It wasn't directed at those who keep quiet. It's directed at those who keep asking for promotions.....not just the PFCs. And you are right, that's why we are here. If I've said this once, I've said it a thousand times, The rank doesn't make the trooper, the trooper makes the trooper! I go by that giving my level best, as do a good 90% of you. Well, i was told to post on this by my buddy Rizz. I was a PFC not to long ago, and I got out of there quick, by making posts that meant something, and kept the stories going, as told to be by Fury. To all of you PFC's out there, just let people know whats going on, post on your Squad topics, and keep things going. Send it the reports at the right times, and post on the stories that you are suppose to, without being asked to do so.
