I've heard some members here say that they dont exist in the VE's current storyline. Did i miss something or did Luke Skywalker go back in time and die? -----------------------

thats all my mind can come up with for now, they are all acounted for, what we realy mean is no unaccounted for by popular (or not so much) EU, of course there are also no Pre-Empire Jedi alive or atleast out of hiding (a few books and games claim there are others which is why i said 'unaccounted' for) -----------------------

Well, basically, there are plenty of Force-sensitive beings out in the galaxy, but only four or five are trained as Jedi. And Sniping, I wouldn't consider Joruus C'baoth as a Jedi, more of a "cloned-Jedi-turned-Dark-Jedi" person. But Luke, he's the only one that has been fully trained so far. -----------------------
Revenge is what holds this galaxy together. Without it, the universe would be a boring place.

Think about it. The Jedi were wiped out during the Clone wars. In episode VI, Yoda told Luke he would be the last of the Jedi after Yoda died....do Jedi just spawn out of nowhere?
No. That's silly.
You can be Force sensative, but its only through training that you are able to use it. Skywalker is running around out there, so is Mara Jade (even though she doesn't know she's Force capable), and Jorus C'baoth is hunting Luke.
In short. There are no Jedi. -----------------------

We are in the thrawn era, i would guess somewhere near the middle of the first book still, i wouldnt think any later than middle of second book. which means no jedi acadamy. -----------------------

I believe we're just past the first book. The HSC put us at the end of the first book (since we ran into the Thrawn vs NR conflict at Sluis Van with the mole miners and zero G stormies.)
So no academy. No Jedi. -----------------------

you have NO idea what you are talking about.
1) Mara does NOT know she's Force sensitive in the trime frame we're at. She knows she has "instincts" and "feelings" about things. but she doesn't know its the Force.
2) Our DJO is NOT meager. You're a newbie, so I'll put it down to sheer ignorance. We have 2..count them TWO Dark Jedi Masters. Luke couldn't even take down Vader by himself, or the emperor...daddy had to save his whiney-butt.
Also, Jacen, Jaina and Anakin are children during the thrawn series...hell Anakin might not have even been born yet where we are. One of our least talented stormies could kill them. Hell, Tal could make them explode with little more than a thought.
Until you know what you're talking about, don't talk down to our elite division. -----------------------
