I'm currently moving furniture and cleaning the new house, and this is what's happening to me thus far:
Desktop
For some reason, my desktop computer is not starting up. It worked perfectly fine before the move, getting boxed up and being stuck in a U-Haul truck and placed into storage. Upon unpacking it and starting it, I can get to the Windows' loading screen (loading bar), but after that it goes black and nothing else happens. My father thinks it's a software problem (aka virus), and not a hardware problem... but I seriously doubt that.
Some good news...
I bought a new computer - well, a tower. It's a little better than my current Gateway. It is a Sony VAIO:
# Intel Pentium 4 Processor 530J with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology (3.0GHz, 1MB L2 Cache)
# Front side bus speed: 800 MHz
# 512MB PC-3200 400MHz DDR (Expandable to 2.0GB) - I'm going to get another 512 stick to up the RAM to 1024
# 200GB2 7200rpm Hard Drive
# Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900
224MB Max. dynamically allocated shared video memory - I have my NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 though.
# VGA Out
x16 PCI Express
Anyway, this sucker should arrive by Wednesday, so I'll be back up and running with full graphics software at my disposal.

two things o try with that new desktop, i dont know fi they'll work, but i've had them work for me before
make sure your power button dosent stick, my brothers would do the same thing and for whatever reason it was the power button sticking; yeah i know, it would seem that if the button were sticking the power would go on and off all the time, it dosent, or atleast not in my experiance.
boot with a diffrent keyboard, you may have a key stuck that aborting the boot, unlikely though -----------------------

Ok, a tiny update.
Good News: I've got my new computer up and running. I just need to connect it to the internet once I get this new Comcast wireless thing going and stick in my NVIDIA graphics card.
Bad News: I can't seem to find my PhotoShop CS CD, Paint Shop Pro 7 CD, or my NVIDIA graphics card CD (and I can't remember if it came with one). So, it may be a little bit until I can make graphics again. I did find my KotOR 2 and GuildWars CDs, so I'm ok there. -----------------------

Carpets getting installed this thursday, and I get my 1gb memory by the 7th  (1024+ RAM).
Also, figured out what the problem was on my other computer: my graphics card. Found out by accident, actually. I removed it, rebooted it, and it worked. :P

Actually, I think I am in full working condition. I can do graphics on my comp now... well, somewhat full working condition. I don't have FrontPage 2000 installed yet, so I can't finish some websites. -----------------------

Great! which place is my Tie request at?
I actually prefer HTML coding than FrontPage, FrontPage adds lots of unnecessary codes. this way my web pages are easier to fix too. -----------------------
