You should respect your elders... Anyways, being older doesn't mean you can't do a movie. Sean Connery (Did I spell that right?) is a great example. Personally, I think he would be great in the role. For the hardcore actions parts, use a stunt doulbe, but man does he have the best joker laugh... -----------------------

Yea, but they're two different companies making the movie... DC is not the same as Warner Bros. Thus they could actually make a new joker or whatever. Maybe that whole Joker bit was just for an ending and the next movie will involve somthing totally different. I actually kind of liked that movie, and even the next one. -----------------------

I'd just hope it was up to the same quality as this one was though. Don't want them getting all ancy deciding to make it all special effects and cheesy punch lines... That would make very angry. -----------------------

First off anyone that says Batman does not have 'powers' does not follow the better cartoons and comics. He has some serious mental discipline and an ungodlike understanding of psychology that is frightening. Then there is all the fighting techniques he studied. Oy. Batman is my favorite hero. He seems to have the most real personality of someone who deals with the darker side of humanity all the time like that.
For the next movie though I'd like to see one improvement. DON'T MOVE THE CAMERA AROUND SO MUCH AND PULL BACK A BIT SO I CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE PEOPLE FIGHT! That was really the worst part of the film to me. Other then that I think it was a pretty good flick. -----------------------

I've always said that about Batman. I assume you know exactly what I meant Daishi, lol, which is he doesn't have any natural super phenomena occuring with him or whatever. He can't move things with his mind or see through walls or fly for that matter without the use of tools or his own mind to think them up.
I beleive that although he does not have these particular super natural powers, he is probably the most capable super hero of all time. With him, there is always a way. All other super hero's have weaknesses. What they've done with Batman begins, is initilize why it is you can't defeat him, because he isn't a person. Bruce Wayne most certainly is, but with the idea, the symbol that Batman in himself is... That can't be corrupted or burdened by something like cryptonite or water... The fact he is human, he is a mortal, grants him both crippling weaknesses as well as impossible power.
Often times, maybe you've seen cartoons like the Justice League on Cartoon netwrok or something like that, but you'll always notice Batman is the intimidating one. Superman can lift trucks above his head and the green lantern is protected by anything he can think of... That ring or those little deals on Wonder Women's arms... Why do they not fear them? Why Batman?
Because he's scary. That's why I beleive this movie has created somethign beyond what we immedietly realize. Batman is a scary character. Sure, he's witty as well, but there is a severly deviant/dark side to him that seems not to care all of the sudden. Bruce Wayne, awesome prince of Gotham City with his unlimited wealth and almost cocky air... Maybe Bruce Wayne will begin to merge with Batman as the movie continues. He did take over the company at the end and in the other movies he appeared have created programs to help others...

Yeah, Batman has that badass quality among all the superheroes.
I think of him as a Sith lord in many ways. The most obvious connection is that this dark knight is driven by anger, vengeance and personnel vendettas.
Of course he directs all this negative energy to pursuing justice.
And yeah, that was the most wicked ride I have ever seen in a movie. |
